" And indeed Erik Lehnsherr had, but she was growing older and more ambitious as the days passed. " But you lack the vision to see, a world beyond hatred and stupidity. A true Utopia, a community that rids itself of such philosophical falsities, as well as biased opinions." Time came and went; Polaris remained in the same place, but why? Already her extensive network was crumbling - nothing was happening! But at least the talks of attacking the American capital revived the somber deadness, allowing her a bit more persuasion. The question was, how much longer could she put off 'the big plan'? Unknowing herself, Lorna's teeth clamped down while her fingers curled into clenched fists - signs of frustration - as, all around her, debris and fragments of the earth twitched before rising in an encirclement of her. Damn it! Why? WHY?Unable to answer, Polaris hurled a basketball sized rock out to sea. Able to see it for a few moments, it vanished and only the memory remained to her, a reminder of what once was, and how she rid herself of it. Like how she would this tom foolery, permitted and resourced by her own flesh and blood, from Genosha.[/ul]

Hmph.
"Whine and complain all you want, but it isn't going to change anything."
Though she knew that respect for those in positions higher and more regal than her was the proper way to address and speak to them, the constant attitude that was displayed simply made her sick. Honestly, there was a certain way that a woman who claims to be a princess should act, and Polaris certainly wasn't the poster child for the behavior expected. Princesses were supposed to elegant, poised and sympathetic, close to infallibility and far from instigation of conflict as well as throwing temper tantrums every time something didn't quite go their way. Of course, that may have just been the fairy tales jumbling her present reality.
Arms crossed, one eyebrow raised and head tipped slightly to the side, Regan Wyngarde, also known as Lady Mastermind, stepped closer to the seemingly belligerent Genoshan princess and waited for her anticipated answer to her comment. Though she had a feeling the retort was going to be something along the lines of showing insolence, since that was the crap she had gotten anytime she had shown even the slightest disregard for authority, and disrespecting a princess, perhaps even how she was going to be punished for such actions, but perhaps the first-born Genoshan Princess would surpass her expectations and surprise her with maturity.

," she responded using one of several aliases Regan had - at least within Polaris' circle. But her tone was no spiteful or cruel, just forceful. " I merely point out what needs to be, and do my job; you'll never find I, Magneto's first born, crying about being too weak to accomplish a mission and destroying a room full of computers." Yes, if anything, the one who whined and complained was the Scarlet Witch. Ever since she'd gotten cozy with Exodus - heck, even before that - Wanda was weened on total uselessness. Pietro wasn't the better alternative, considering how clueless he was to everything. His 'yes man' attitude also disturbed Lorna, as it showed he lacked any insight or contributions. To her, he merely lucked out on recruiting Corpse to the Brotherhood ranks. And now this, this stuck up bitch had the nerve to come at her - and with wrong information at that - well, Polaris could have just gone berserk but she didn't. Polaris wasn't bratty, immature, or spoiled, she was just ruthless and logical; a true gem in this rough called Genosha. If no one could see that, then they were insignificant to her. Lorna Lehnsherr was anything but desperate for resources, like her father before her. " I assume you have your mission orders from Magneto?," she asked, using her father's mutant name; any trait of humanism in him tended to be disregarded, or so it seemed, when addressing him.[/ul]

Anger...confusion....fear....
All these emotions ran through the mind of Wanda Lenshrr. Obviously the anger was expressed by her behavior at her father's meeting. The youngest child of the lord of magnetism had been graced with being the most compassionate and gentle, but also cursed with the worst temper imaginable. Add that it with her mutant abilities and well...it was best that Wanda kept tight control of any negative emotions she experienced. She managed to do so, but then there were times when she slipped up like she had in Magneto's war room. She had every right to be considering the plans her father had in store for the humans. What her father had already done to the humans and Professor Xavier. Magneto was on a war path and he had to be stopped before anyone else or himself was hurt or worse.
The question was how would she be able to stop him. Her father was headstrong and once he set his mind on something, he wouldn't budge. Not to mention how powerful he was...easily one of the most powerful on the planet. However, even Magneto could be taken down with proper force. Hopefully it wouldn't have to go that far, but if it did...well, we'll just see if it does. Not everyone would agree with her father's views. She knew this for a fact. She also knew they wouldn't be too thrilled to know that Magneto was planning to put their lives on the line and go to war because his mind was clouded by anger and hate for the human race. People with common sense and who listen to reason. People like Lorna. It was true, that there was a bit of bad blood between the twins and Pietro. Growing up, all three did their best to please their father, to win over his affections, to be crowned the favorite. Or rather, who would take the crown and rule over Genosha when the time came for Magneto to step down or die. That was then, this was now. All rivalry aside, there was something much larger to at stake. The future of their country. Would mutants be able to continue and live peacefully on Genosha or would Magneto's hate seal their doom?
Wanda teleported onto the plateau behind her sister and strolled up beside her, giving a quick glance over to Regan before setting her eyes out on the sea in front of them.
"I know...we haven't always gotten along..." Wanda began. "And I don't care what your opinion of me is...but you must know that I want what's best for us, Lorna. I know I came off foolish in the war room, but understand my feelings that I don't want to see my people or my family die because daddy is too blind to see that he is being controlled by hate. I want peace...and if he goes through with his plans, it'll never happen..."

Mistaking? Regan was a woman of observation and calculation, it was a necessary technique for the functionality of her power; and that talent made almost impossible for her make mistakes when evaluating others. Simply because the first-born royal had expressed her thoughts and feelings in a manner far more sophisticated than her sister had in the War Room she believed that she wasn't, however by Regan's definition, Polaris was most definitely complaining. But she was much too self-confident to admit such a thing.
Taking the short moment to inhale a breath of the sea breeze, Regan looked to the prideful princess and sighed. Doing her job simply was not enough. There was more to being a leader and a "princess" for the Genoshan people. There was an element of humanity that was required to do the job she referred to. Seemingly as if she had been hardened to the human world, Polaris appeared to be the woman who penalized the entire human race for the actions of a fraction of them. But if she were a true princess, she would be an ambassador and not an instigator.
Regan was not given the chance to reply to Polaris, in terms of both her question and whatever commentary she was going to attach to her answer, because of the interruption of her sister. Though emotional, appeared to one of the members of the Lensherr family who truly understood the idea of being an princess, ambassador and leader of a nation under constant skepticism. Bowing ever so slightly as the third born princess glanced over to her and made her way closer to her sister, Regan simply watched as Wanda began to speak with her sister. She was sure that if she was not wanted in their presence, she would be promptly reminded.

Wanda had made her presence known, and immediately the eldest child flared on the inside. If her ability was anything to do with manipulating flames, Polaris would have spontaneously combusted. Nothing irked her like hearing Wanda or Pietro talking, especially in recent days with their nonsensical banter. But this time, this time instead of condescending her sister, Lorna listened first. Only then would she speak, but it would not be accepting. " Then do something about it.," she coldly shot back to Wanda, disregarding any form of connectivity or sincerity in the sibling's voice. " You are more powerful than Magneto, and if necessary could bring him to his knees. You hold back, why?" What made this situation worse was having Exodus on a leash. To her bigger sister, it was wasting a valuable resource. Fully believing this, Lorna, for the first time since Wanda appeared, glanced in her direction. " Make use of that sniveling boy toy of yours, and take action - take those in his ranks, decimate his army.," she proposed, as if having already given this some thought. " Father has always respected the way of the fist more so than the mind, which was obvious the moment he left Xavier's sanctuary. Use his own methods to show him the error of his ways; karma at its finest, dear sister. To oppose does nothing, only action." That said, Polaris turned to face Lady Mastermind. That... bitch...All she could think of to describe the lady in white. There was no reason to dislike Regan for what she did - her powers were quite useful - but her personality was as bad, if not worse, than Lorna's own. Clouded, selfish, and worst of all... unwilling to house the concept of defeat. " Surely you have an opinion on all of this.," she remarked, but not before concluding with, " You radiate intelligence to others, why not awe me as well?"[/ul]

There was something that surprised Wanda. As bitter and cold Lorna's tone was, she actually acknowledged Wanda as being more powerful than their father? Potentially Wanda did have the power to defeat Magneto. Why did she hold back? Because he was her father and she never thought she would ever have to use her powers against him. The man responsible for her existence....who had given her the life of a princess. Could she actually bring Magneto to his knees?
Then there was Exodus. Lorna's suggestion caused Wanda's eyebrow to arch. Either her sister had really given this some thought or she was just that good at coming up with strategies on the spot. That was when Wanda had a proposition to make to her sister.
"You must know I have no interest in the crown. Thats for you and Pietro to fight over. I just care about the well being of Genosha. Judging from the advice you have just given me, I assume you have been planning your own agenda? I also know that you disagree with the path Magneto is leading us down. Unless you're completely disgusted by the thought of an alliance."
Wanda knew she would earn a glare, if even that for making such a suggestion. It was alright though. That was all it was, a suggestion. She still had her other plans...

(( sorry if not long as your post but tried to make it as long as I can))
He had decided to go for a walk after missing a meeting of the brotherhood but he was ready to do what he was asked from lord magneto even if he knows it is wrong. He would shift from true form to one of a human and back just for the hell of it. He was recently accepted to join the brotherhood and was excited for that but also wondered what would be first mission that they would be hoping something fun.
He would continue towards the plateau since he was planning to do some survival training of jumping off do some fishing eat and climb back up that’s if the tide would cooperate with him. He would slow down as scent of the royal family hit his nose he could not figure out who it was but he knew that it would be best to approach the children of lord magneto with caution.
As he got closer, he would notice the three girls and gave nudge to none royal blood and the two princesses a bow in respect. He would look to the three of them as he caught the words of youngest of lord magneto and glance at them wording his words in his head carefully before expressing it to them.
He would look to the princesses and sigh “greetings princesses is this something I should be aware of or your father. It is nice today have you noticed if tide is in or out today thought of doing some training care to join me ” he was playing uninterested but he really was but he figure out what was going on.
He wondered if whispering about royal family has any truth then this might be start of plot of royal siblings to hatch their plans for conquest of the crown. He would help lord magneto as he was needed he was eager to get on his first mission. He would then look to the third girl the non-royal and study her a little bit “so what is your purpose for being here at the plateau with royalty”.
He was digging for info hoping that she might slip up but he was not sure how cunning she was or how will she can lie and give misinformation to him. He would look to the three girls as he shifts back and forth out boredom to find out what was going on here since it might be about a mission.

The bickering of princesses sisters was not an enjoyable thing to simply stand there and listen to, that is without getting involved in it all. With every passing comment and retort from one daughter of Genosha to the other, Regan noted several good points in each argument and was, at one moment, tempted to throw something into the mix. However, the blonde illusionist figured that it would be in her best interest if she held her tongue like a good citizen and speak only if spoken to. Perhaps her opinion and thought of the sibling's conversation would be more appropriate for another time… or not at all.
Equipped with a low tolerance for patience and a minute virtuous outlook, which had always been part of her persona, Regan Wyngarde began to get the feeling that she wasn't needed in the presence of the two royals; she could always find some other time to go back and forth with royalty, today just was not going to be utilized for that purpose. Of course, her sudden desire to withdrawal was truly attributed to being an unwilling spectator to the verbal spar that the two Genoshan princesses were engaged in, she had better things that could be occupying her time.
Regan had almost made her first backward step towards freedom when her eyes found themselves staring into the face of the oldest princess. Had she sensed that Regan had moved? Was she not supposed to move? Regan was waiting for an explanation for Lorna's sudden body movement when she spoke to her, prompting for her opinion of the discussion at hand. She might have been willing to answer with a sense of courtesy if it hadn't been for the haughty remark that followed. Honestly. The princess was wasting her time insulting her intelligence?
"I apologize, dear Princess, such a privilege is for those who appreciate such thought."
Bowing ever so slightly, Regan looked to her side and saw that a man had appeared upon the plateau as well. Though he probably was trying to conceal his true reason for being here in the presence of two princesses and a worthy member of Lord Magnus' Brotherhood, he was clearly up to no good. He looked odd for goodness sake, which was all Regan needed in order to be suspicious of another person, but his demeanor was another factor she could throw in there. Really. He spoke to, it seemed, as Polaris had; as if he were in a position of authority and demanded answers from her.
"Who says I'm not royalty?"
Now rather irritable, because of a pompous princess's and some insignificant man's questioning of her, Regan outwardly expressed her irked disposition.

," she responded to her sister, leaving it out in the open if she did or did not have an agenda. " But it is always best to consider how to take control of something, in the event it loses its way or purpose." Ever since Lorna could recall, her life was subjected to earning her father's praise and competing with her siblings. Regardless of whether they sought to compete back, Lorna was obligated as the eldest to do so. To admit defeat or being outdone was unforgivable in the eyes of Genosha's ruler, and Polaris refused to coat herself in failure. Unfortunately, it tended to make her methods questionable and apparently rude... if only these fools knew the complexity contained within. " What do I gain from this?" Nothing was actually keeping Lorna from agreeing, well... except the fact she practically detested her flesh and blood and the idea of going into a losing battle. " You propose this without a plan to ensure its success, or are you holding back?" Polaris had to be careful of what she said, wording it vaguely enough to escape any detection by wandering loyalties, i.e. Arktos. But if Wanda was holding back, Lorna would have a tiny bit of respect for the Scarlet Witch. " Arktos, was it?" Honestly, the Genoshan daughter had no idea, nor did she really care. His undying loyalty - or so he protruded - made the green-haired female disgusted, as well as unnerved that a potential spy for her father lurked. Then again, so could Lady Mastermind... " Leave Regan be.," she said, actually using the other woman's first name at the bear-like mutant. " If anyone deserves to be questioned, it is you. Can you not see we are in the middle of something?" It was apparent in her voice, Lorna was annoyed. But she kept herself in a better state than normal, something that had to be acknowledged as emotional progression. " Explain yourself.," she said, and ended on Arktos with that note, now moving towards the lady in white. " Your assumptions will be your undoing." Polaris was evidently not pleased with how Lady Mastermind responded, but she was refusing from blasting her to kingdom come; something was afoot. " The lack of cooperation suits me just fine; I can wait for you to come around." Genosha's eldest member of royalty wasn't being tough out of cruelty, she did so to push and propel those around her. If Regan Wyngarde knew, perhaps she'd be willing to work with Lorna Lehnsherr.[/ul]

"Actually dear sister, it would be of my concern. Anything involving Genosha is my concern especially if you are plotting something..." Wanda responded in a calm and soft tone. There was no need to get all worked up about Lorna's attitude being so... repugnant. Wanda was holding back a simple plan she had to stop her father's attack. She was sure the X-men would jump at the chance to get their hands on Magneto for what he had done to Professor Xavier. Perhaps they would be the perfect ones to put her father in his place.
Wanda's glance turned to Arktos. This was probably one of those rare moments when the Lensherr sisters were on the same vibe, as Wanda grew weary of this new arrival as well. Something he should be aware of or their father? Really? Lorna asked him to explain himself, and Wanda completely agreed. The last thing she needed was for a spy to inform their father that they had been discussing plans to over throw him.
"This is a private conversation. It would be best if you remove yourself from here at once." she spoke in a firm tone to Arktos. "This doesn't concern you or my father."

No missions to do, no recruiting others to the great Magneto's cause, and this was a good chance to get to know every one. Unfortunately, he came across about five or six other mutants and they wanted in on a fight. And their target was him, they told him it was a new guy thing. Naturally, the young man would of refused to partake in the fight. But given the circumstances he just couldn't refuse them. He get into stance and prepares to fight.
10 minutes later.
The young man emerges victorious, a bit scruffed up but that was a bout it. What really ticked him off was that one of the mutants burned his shirt to ash. It was his only shirt, he wasn't given much time to pack up. After being recruited he was quickly taken to the plane. So much for that. He bowed his head to the fallen fighters as a sign to respect before walking off.
He place both his hands in his jeans in hopes that no one will say anything about him walking around without a shirt. This made him a bit...On edge, he kinda stood out like a sore thumb. He lets out a sigh, and let his mind wander a bit.
After a few casual talks with a few more locals. He began wandering again. With one hand he rubbed the back of his head, spotting a few people. They seemed nice, as far as he could see and didn't really catch what they were talking about before. He hope that he wasn't intruding in anything big.
He walks up with a smile on his face. "Uh, hello. I'm new around here." He bows his head politely. "My name is Hiro. I hope I wasn't intruding on anything." He then remembers he is half-naked. "Oh excuse me. I was in a friendly fight earlier."

He would look to the eldest princess as she speaks and finishes up with her younger sister and look to them still his ears where very good after all. He would carefully think of how to word his words as he told to leave the non-royal alone and then looks to the princess as she spoke to him more.

"Of course Polaris."
It seemed that the first was going to actually show her some compassion, that is if her expressed willingness for Regan to 'come around' was what someone could call compassion. She would be content for the moment, at least with Polaris, but if she was rudely questioned once more, there was going to be potential for her be much less subtly volatile. After nodding to Polaris in recognition of her comment towards her, Regan returned to an upright position and glanced over the bear… man… mutant. The way he had made his initial impressions on everyone present, of royal blood or not, appeared to be rather similar; suspicion of his real reason for being present and perhaps some irritation with his rude interruption and attempt to take some authority.
Honestly. If a person wants to spy, do not appear suspicious.
Though Regan hadn't quite seen it as her place to address the mutant who had recently joined them, she enjoyed the reprimanding of the man carried out promptly by the two royals present. It was somewhat fulfilling to watch as Polaris showed some humanity, instructing the new arrival to mind his own on her behalf and then hear Wanda tack on her response. But judging by the flawed first statements she had heard from this man, the words of a royal were probably much more valuable to him than those from a commoner such as her. Of course the idea that she was a commoner was unsound within itself.
With a curl of the lip and a raise of the eyebrow, Regan communicated her undeniable pleasure with the response of the Genoshan princesses and looked over in the man's position, hoping that he saw her disparaging expression. However, Regan's delight was cut short as another persona approached the group of four on the plateau. Wonderful. Who was going to join them this time? Perhaps Magneto himself was going to encroach on the conversation between the three who had originally been involved in it.
Nope. Just some kid of the asian persuasion wandering about, probably lost. Rolling her eyes, Regan watched the young man closely until he identified himself and gave an explanation for why he was shirtless and clearly not presentable in the presence of two Genoshan royals and herself, of course. Before losing her train of thought, however, Regan's gaze snapped back to the man-bear.
"The only thing that's suspicious around here is you. And your BS excuse."

" If Wanda caught on to the coded lingo Lorna was using, the chips meant loyalty, the table meant Wanda's plan, and the hearing of the table meant Wanda was talking but not presenting anything. Of course with the sudden surge of newcomers, it was probably best not to be so open. Arktos, the Man-Bear Pig, was beginning to get under her skin. The tide remark was absolutely ridiculous, though Lady Mastermind spoke before she could on it, but the Genoshan princess wouldn't let that be the only comment uttered. " And what, pray tell, does the tide have to do with your training? You weren't a beached whale last I checked, but some kind of bear.," she snapped, but with more restraint than the Mistress of Magnetism had been known for. And then... Byakurai came, it was just one big plateau party. " You could make yourself more presentable, Byakurai.," she responded to his shirtless excuse. " It is rude to approach anyone, regardless of their status, in such a rag tag manner." Ever since Polaris had encountered Hiro, she'd slowly begun to dislike him. He was a babbling idiot who had no purpose but to talk... and talk... and talk, talking until he found something else to ramble about. His powers, while impressive, took a back seat to his honor and justice B.S., two traits that had no place in Magneto's Brotherhood - yet the imbecile fought for him... truly a waste of genetics, Lorna sighed. Finally, Lady Mastermind. " Please, call me Lorna.," she suggested to Regan. " Any chance for this meeting to be considered formal, Regan, went over this cliff the moment these two came."[/ul]
