He had missed the bus again. He hoped that the excuse of a pair of overly worried parental would be accepted at the new school. Seeing the bus he was supposed to have taken he landed on top and surfed through most of New York, until he noticed that they were coming to another stop. Webbing off to get changed after a second he groaned as he made sure to have all of his bags still with him. Hearing the bus honk to let any other passengers know that it was time he came running out waving his hand, but once again the bus was pulling away. He was about ready to web the bus when he heard a car honking at him. He turned to his left and saw his best friend. Flash Thompson, was pulling up in his new Camaro. “Hey Benny you need a lift to that new school?” Jumping into the convertible Flash gave Ben a weird look wondering when the nerd got so coordinated, Ben looked over at his friend and chuckled. “Everyone gets lucky once in a while. Just let me pretend that Gwen was watching alright?” He chuckled as he offered to pay for gas, but his friend just shook him off.
A few hours later they pulled up to the school and Flash waved goodbye to his best friend as Ben carried his things up the walk way. His wavy brown hair was blown back off his forehead thanks to Flash’s convertible top, he was wearing a nice pair of jeans, but he spilled some of his milk shake on himself while they were driving. His best Sunday shirt was wrecked after the car hit a puddle, but he was smiling. Mostly cause due to all of the bags he was carrying you really couldn’t see his shabby condition, at least he kept telling himself that. He couldn’t help himself he walked around like a tourist as he saw the manicured lawns, the beautiful shrubbery, and of course the killer mansion. Digging through his bag he was all wide eyed as he started taking snapshots of the school, figuring he could send the photo’s home to Mom and Dad. He was told to stay on the path because there was supposed to be someone to meet him here, but he was hooked. Walking around he was snapping photo’s hard and fast even somehow changing film with a single hand available.
Making a turn he stopped dead in his tracks. Most of his bags hit the ground around him when he saw the pool....okay he didn't see the pool yet, but the bevy of beautiful ladies enjoying the last of the last of the Summer sun. "buffet" Okay that is all he might have said, but if his brain was functioning properly it would have been a bit longer, and maybe not so bad for him. Mostly his thoughts were along the lines of what his best friend would say at that moment. Looking around he didn't even notice when his finger was still pushing the button, causing his camera to continue snapping pictures. At least his mouth was closed, and his tongue wasn't hanging out right? Oh god, please tell him it wasn't hanging out.
