October 31st, Halloween. The only day of the year where you could be something you're not...and the only day that girls could dress slutted up and it is just shrugged off. Valeria herself was still relatively new to the school and hadn't made many friends...thanks to her father burying her in homework, preventing from any kind of social life. It seemed his reputation tainted hers a bit also as no one really made an attempt to befriend her. So...Valeria decided that throwing a halloween party would be a nice gesture to get better acquainted with her student body. Thanks to a generous donation from the beautiful Monet St. Croix, they were able to secure the grand ball room at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, one of the top hotels in Boston. Granted all this had to be done behind the staff's back. Especially behind her father's back. The last thing Valeria wanted was for the adults to bust in and ruin the party, especially Dr. Doom. She doubted he wouldn't take to kindly to Val's costume choice: a sexy Alice hoping to finally take Calvin to a wonderland...or at least have a dance. So there she stood in her costume with a cosmopolitan in her hand, taking slow sips from it. The music was blasting through the stereo, various orderves spread out across the buffet table...let the party commence! " It's 8:30pm...where the heck is everyone? Especially Monet." she asked then seconds later she received a text. She took out her sidekick phone and flipped it open, shaking her head at the message. Monet would be fashionably late. Of course and it was expected. Now where was everyone else?

Echo had been invited to the halloween party by none other than here very rich peer Monet St. Croix. It was something that Maya had never really been to before, a halloween party. What was the dress code? Was slutting it up asking too much or should she go as something ironic? Imagine her going as a telephone operator! That would get her laughs, but what if she wanted a date? But Maya had taken so much time to think about her costume that the last one left in her size was a showgirl costume. . Maya walked into the elagant dining hall with her mini top hat on a just looked at the ceiling. The girl had to hold onto her had as she looked, the chandelier was gorgeous. It looked like mini stars. Once she tore her gaze away from it, she saw Valeria sitting in a costume that showed more than what Maya was wearing. "Hey Val," Maya smiled as she walked over in her heels. "Where's everyone at?"

A Halloween party was just what the doctor order for Chance. He was doing the classic thing and going as Phantom of the Opera. He had the costume custom made to so it fit him to perfection. He knew exactly where the party was being held and hired a limo to take him. The young man walked in and nodded to the doorman. He didn't even bother looking around having been here on several occasions. He made his way to the Grand Ballroom and sees two lovely ladies already there.
"Hello, ladies. You both look amazing." He kissed each one on the cheek, as he pulled out a bottle of champaign from his cape. "Just a small contribution." He winked at Val and then turned to look at Maya. "I call first dance, yes?" He kissed her cheek once more before going to up the champaign up and finally taking in the room. "I'm impressed."

" Alright. The party can start I am here!" Jubilee cried entering the ball room in her Geisha costume. She had arrived there alone planning to meet Davis at the place. In translation: she was too excited to wait for him so he was left behind. She entered the ballroom and her face lit up. It was totally awesome. The perfect place to have real balls...except they were having a Halloween costume party. It'd still be awesome. " Maya, Val, Chance! How are you guys? Love the costumes! Particularly interesting choices, Maya and Val. You guys trying to shack up tonight in one of the rooms upstairs? Or is Chance going to steal one of you?"

Nervous was the only emotion running through the mind and body of the one codenamed Vanish. He had only been at the Mass Acad for a number of days, and had hardly met anyone at all; just a couple of kids around his age. Each time he would go down the corridors of the academy, someone new would stare at him, as if they were afraid or determined to make some kind of signal that they weren't to be screwed with. It's not like Vanish would want to screw with them, for all he knew, they may be powerful mutants who can spit fireballs or move furniture with their mind; all he could do was camoflague. But, it was recommended for him to attend the Halloween Party that had been organised by Dr. Von Damme's daughter, Valeria. One of his new found friends had advised that he go and meet more people, and make a name for himself; which wasn't really at the top of Beclem's list. He had been down that road, back at school, and being the popular kid was overrated. The attention wasn't necessary, nor was it even relevant in a school like this. One day, he might be kingpin, the next, bottom of the pile. It was all far too trivial. Beclem's entrance to the Grand Hall was subtle, but people would instantly recognise him as a new kid. He was dressed in Silver Chain Mail and plates which were not heavy, but gave him a rather stellar look. His wore a Silver mask to cover the upper portion of his face. He was certainly blessed with good looks, even if you couldn't see much of his face. He decided to, for now, lay low and maybe not go and introduce himself to the group. They looked pretty tight as it was, and it wasn't his place to go and interrupt their conversations, considering he knew absolutely none of them.

Warren flapped greacfully through the skies of Boston. On a night like this everyone was out on the streets partying or indoors and very people actually looked up when getting drunk and staring at women dressed in slutty costume. While he enjoyed the chilled night air against his skin he had to be careful because his costume was a little free flowing and he didn't want it to slip off. Since most costumes didn't have an accomidating space in the back for his wings to flow out freely so he had made one himself. Since he had a large pair of wings sprouting from his back it was only natural that he goes an angel. Taking a set of his pure white, egyptian cotton sheets he had wrapped it around his body, covering his lower legs and some of his torso but leaving his chest and arms exposed for the most part. His blonde hair had reached shoulder length at this point and twirled around with slight drafts of wind as he flew.
As he neared the hotel he carefully slipped down to the ground and started walking. At this point he was nervous, agitated and very concerned that someone would recognize him as a mutant. His instructors had told him to go out tonight and try to just have fun, apparently they thought Halloween was the one night a year he could walk around like a normal person and not get stared at like the freak of nature he was.
He carefully walked around and saw that while yes people glanced his way few of them actually stared. A couple people did stop and ask to have their picture taken with him because his costume was just "awesome" but other then that he was left alone for the most part.
Warren quickly entered the hotel and found where the party was located and headed there. As he entered he saw that Val, Maya, Jubilee, Chance and a new kid he hadn't met yet where already there. His wings curled in to allow him to walk through the door but once in he looked around and tried to give his best smile, which was only slightly uncomfortable.
"Hey everyone." he said softly, "So not used to being able to walk around outside like that." As he spoke he saw that others had brought alcohol which was funny to him. Given that his parents wanted little to do with him and generally let Warren spend his own money as he pleased the young Worthington had bought an entire bar service to come to this party. In a few minutes he knew it should arrive and then this could become a real party.

If Marie had her Tarot cards with her, she would be nervously shuffling them as she paced just inside the doors of the hotel lobby. She had picked a French maid outfit as her costume- after all, who better to play a French maid then an actual French girl? But that was beside the point. She had invited Adam to come with her, which, in retrospect, was probably a Bad idea. She did want him to meet her friends, but perhaps this was a bad way to do it.
But, it was too late now. He was on his way here, and hopefully the rest of the Hellions wouldn’t freak that he was an X-men.

Jamie Madrox had toyed with several ideas for his costume. Naturally he would have avoided any school function like a plague. He didn’t do teachers… or school pride. Jamie was a delinquent at his very core and along with that was a detachment from the student body that he justified with the very fact that he was his own gang of buds; a selfish ploy that would always hide the fact that he knew he wasn’t from the same… fiber as these people. John probably could have passed this off. Jamie, however, was not one for bonding when faculty was around. Certainly if the likes of Da Costa were there it would have ended badly. The Brazillian never did forgive Jamie (well a dupe of him) for lining his entire office with post-its and honey.
But, this had no hint of Mass Acad. Staff and so, Jamie Arthur Madrox was not only in, but he would have to find the perfect costume.
So, he had scanned the web and raided a few dorms to see what was available. Personally, Jamie had wanted to go for something funny. A multiplying rabbit would have been hilarious in his eyes. But it wasn’t until one of his dupes slid down the hall from the bathrooms to his dorm in his boxers that he really thought of something. And it was perfect.
So, Halloween, Jamie Madrox was freezing his twenty balls off outside the building, clad in what could barely be described as underwear (made of leather, mind you), metal shields and a mass of helmets and capes. He would have loved to have made three hundred of himself, but he had a feeling that would go past the maximum capacity of the building reserved for the shindig. The mutant smirked to himself as the max of his limitations, all ten of them, marched in a straight orderly line. Their steps synchronized to thunder against the ground. They filed into the room and Jamie, who was clearly dressed as the leader (complete with the scar, scruffy features, and cracked helmet), came to the forefront. “Spartans, tonight we dine in… candlelight!”

Young Davis Cameron had a hard time trying to come up with a good costume for the Halloween party his classmate was throwing. Jubilee had already found what she wanted to wear and had left him behind saying she would meet him there. As he sat on his bed reading comics, it finally donned on him… he was going to be a friggin ninja for this little party. It made perfect sense when you thought about it. His lovely girlfriend was dressed as a geisha girl so him being a ninja just went perfectly. But instead of being a cheap ass like most and buying some raggedy attire, Davis made a little trip to Japan where he “liberated” a nice looking black gi to wear along with a katana, pair of nunchaku, and a few shuriken.
Now in his authentic ninja garbs, it was time to make his arrival. ”Crap, where is the party again?” What a forgetful boy. Maybe he should have paid more attention to Jubes when she was speaking to him. Lately he found that slightly hard to do since their night in paradise/hell. His eyes would always drift to chest level when words began to come from her. ”Pfft, directions. Who needs directions when you’re as awesome as me?” Davis closed his eyes for a moment as he searched the spectrum for Jubilee’s energy signature. ”There we go.”
Seconds later, a blue portal opened up inside the ballroom and out flipped the coolest non Japanese ninja ever. He landed right in the middle of everyone all, crouching all dramatic and Ryu Hayabusa-like. ”Good day mates.”

Adam was very excited to be going to the Halloween party with Marie, it was going to be great. He strolled up the street in his Mr. Monopoly costume, with full suit, walking stick, fake moustache and all the works! he was pretty happy with it, parts had come from his own stuff, others had been picked up in a costume shop. He also borrowed all the monopoly money from the game itself at the Mansion, so he had some sticking out from a chest pocket, more hidden around his person. He did his best to sneak up on Marie, he had to stop for a moment when he saw her outfit. "Omigodomigodomigod!!"[/i] he thought to himself, sure rich gentleman Mr. Monopoly and a French Maid worked together, but how was he supposed to keep his eyes above her neck all night, he'd get caught trying to glance a peek and then all her friends would think he was a total perv....stupid sexy Marie. Still....in a costume like that perhaps she was feeling frisky and he'd finally get see her breasts!

Calvin Rankin walked into the hotel with a smile on his face and an energetic pace in his step. For the first time he was actually able to get off campus and actually spend some quality time with Val without the ever looming prescence of her father being around. It had taken him some time to discover what costume he would wear on this night. Since he normally chose clothing that was simple and relaxing he decdied to go in the opposite direction this fine evening. Dressed in his finest Calvin managed to get his hands on a great suit James Bond style.
He entered into the room where the rest of the Hellions and one X-men where standing and enjoying the beginning of the night before it really started to get out of hand. He chuckled at Jaime, was shocked that Warren had come out and was generally impressed with the costumes he saw the other students dressed in. Then of course there was Val. She always looked attractive in the halls of the Mass Academy but in her costume she was practically stunning.
"Hello beautiful," he said as he walked up to her.

Ah, finally. Now this is what she wanted. Everyone had begun to show up and a bright smile came across Valeria's face. "Hey Maya, glad you could come, love the costume" Valeria replied doing the gestures for sign language and gave her a light hug. It wasn't long before everyone else started to fall in. Chance, Jubes, Beclem, ...Warren was a surprise for her, Marie, Jamie, Jamie, Jamie, Jamie...ok so he did the awesome thing and made himself a group of spartans, Davis, some kid she'd never seen before and...
"Hello handsome" she replied turning to Calvin and smiling at his costume. "Who are you supposed to be? An MIB agent? I promise I'm not an alien, but you can still arrest me." she winked before taking another sip of her drink. Yes, this is just what she needed. A night away from the school so they could get better acquainted. But wait...everyone else was here. Where the hell was Monet at? Oh well...who cares. She had her other friends and she had her date for the evening.
"Care for a dance? A drink? Food? Whatever you like, Mr. Rankin. Tonight is our night.

Maya grinned as Val signed to her that she loved the outfit. Thanks I love your alice outfit. she signed back. Just then Chance came up to her, Maya beamed as he kissed her on the cheek. After her dinner with Chance, Maya had taken a liking to him. He was more than the playboy exterior her tried to put out.
"Hey Chance." she smiled while he kissed her again. Maya couldn't help but blush a bit, she hadn't been kissed that many times in a while. "Of course you can have the first dance." she said while looking around at the other people.
Jubilee, Calvin, Jaime, Tarot and a few other faces she didn't know. So far Jaime had the best costume. Who knew that he could pull off a large percentage of the 300 movie by himself? Well his power allowed him that privilege. Maya caught herself wondering what she could do if she could multiply herself. It would be a nice perk, but she liked her own power.
Warren also came. Well that was something unexpected. Maya knew that he hated to be out and around, but she guessed that he wanted to have some fun finally. Maya waved to him from where she stood.

An evening of dancing, drinking, socializing, and maybe a little sinny sin sin! Oh the party maybe have been starting to get on a roll, but it would not be complete until the beautiful and talented Monet St. Croix made her appearance...and a grand appearance she would make. While there were only Academy students in the ball room, that would change. I mean, seriously, a party with only like, 8 people? Come on. Sure she liked her teammates and wanted to do something nice for them, but she wanted a REAL party and she would have one. So Monet advertised like hell and got a very nice response. The doors swung open as a crowd of at least 60 teens in costumes flooded into the room. Four muscled and oiled up men in nothing but loin cloths carrying Monet dressed in her Goddess costume on a comfortable padded cot. She waved to her friends with one hand and held a bottle of Patrone in the other. Other nights, she was none as Ms. Snob at the Academy, but tonight she will be sh*t faced and the mistress of Ceremonies. Her cot was carried to the front of the room and the spot light was set on her as one of her 'servants' handed her a microphone. " Hello Everyone! Glad you all could join me this evening! How is everyone tonight?!" she asked and smiled with their energetic response and somewhat flattered by a random comment yelled from a young man about how hot she was and how much he wanted to bang her. She shrugged and paused to eat another grape and then continued. " Well I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween and I hope you have a wonderful time. And to my closest friends...Easyway onway ethay owerspay ..." she warned the Academy students in pig latin. There were humans about, the last thing they needed was to freak them out with their mutant abilities. Though she saw Jamie and his duplicates...they could like and say he was a rare set of dectuplets. She winked at the Spartans and made a gesture for them to make their way on up to her so they could be with their goddess. " Alright! NOW LET'S GET F*CKED UP! WOOOOOO!!!!" she screamed snapping her fingers and watched a team of several waiters coming into the room serving up shots of various types of alcohol and the speakers began blasting a song appropriate for the occasion. It wasn't long before the room started chugging and chanting. "SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS!" A very happy halloween indeed.

Jamie had thought his entrance had been rather awesome. After all, he’d just come in with one of the most bad ass costumes ever. The shield that was slung across his back swung slightly as he eyed the rest of the costumes. All of which were nice touches. He nodded a greeting to his classmates; feeling a bit out of his element trying to be social with people he probably couldn’t have given a shit about. He’d been invited and actually had to promise to pretend to behave. He even considered it. But, well, considering who’d invited him to come, there wasn’t really much he could do but try and stay out of trouble for the night.
The Spartans couldn’t help but bask in the laughs his clever costume had earned. He was proud of himselves, he didn’t deny the brilliance and felt as if he didn’t have to brag it. His blue eyes cast over to Maya and he smirked. He signed quickly, so no one would catch him, **Remember to use protection**, he teased before letting out a guffaw to no one in particular just as more guests entered and he saw what he could only consider to be one hell of an entrance.
His blue gaze followed Monet and her entourage and he gave a nod of approval. He’d been bested in entrances and he would be the first to admit it. Not aloud, of course, but still. He’d admit it to himself and his dupes with no problem. His clones also followed suit; one giving a whistle of approval. When one of the dupes in the back hollered a comment to Monet, Jamie couldn’t help but laugh while he finally forced himself to listen. The group of Jamies collectively snorted at the Pig latin and wondered if anyone other than his classmates had picked that up. He felt a nudge and looked over at one of his duplicates who nodded back towards their host, who had indicated a request for the presence of her Spartan guests. “Spartans,” he barked at his clones, who all snickered in amusement but still straightened up and started their march through the crowds.
They only stopped once, to grab a shot each and slam it back before returning the glass and continuing their march. Jamie stopped in front of Monet and smirked. “Quite the speech. My favorite part was the last part. Very dignified,” he complimented while his blue eyes couldn’t help but eye up the costume.
