Penny actually blushed and grinned as she took another drink of the soup. "Thanks. You aren't so bad yourself." She nudged him back and grinned. The girl let out a soft sigh and looked at him. "Ever think you are going to be alone for the rest of your life?" She grinned at his blushed and sipped some more of her soup before eating some noodles. He really was a nice guy and she wondered where his girlfriend was.
When he mentioned he was told he was very understanding it dawned on her that he didn't have one. It's like a girl being told she makes a great friend. The adore him, just not like. Penny patted his shoulder and sighed softly. "I understand. Am thinking of starting a Friend Zone club."

"Thanks."
He laughs softly when she nudges him. Then she asked him something extremely important. Did he ever think he was going to be alone for the rest of his life. With what had happened and how he was, honestly, yes. He honestly believed he will never find anyone. It felt a darkness was looming over him. Everything he believed in was turned against him, he never had anyone who had his back, with the recent exception of Dom. And Morphia, confusing him on his feelings towards everything relationship-wise. For now he just put it as the pheromones effect him. With a short sigh, he sipped his drink. His fist kiss was full of lust and the taste of cigerettes and his first was well, something he had never expected in his entire life. Besides who would want Snapping back into reality he finally spoke to her.
"Yep."
He chuckles when she mention the friend zone club. After a sip of his soups he speaks again, doing his best to keep this cheerful and nice.
"Chalk a member up then."

"You are welcome." She nodded and blushed a bit as she finished off her noodles. She glanced over at him and chewed her bottom lip thinking she'd crossed the line. It was a habit she seemed to have and her gaze dropped to the empty bowl. Maybe she should excuse herself and save her the embarrassment of him getting too annoyed with her. She herself had never thought she'd be alone forever, not until she got to the institute and everything seemed to change. Her head turned when he said 'yep' and she nodded. "Me too. I'm too sweet, so adorable, and blah blah blah. I'll make some man lucky some day, and blah blah blah." She took a sip of her drink and nodded. "I'll get the buttons and the charter, and the welcome packet made up when I get home. You want to be Vice President and I'll be President and Founder? You'd be a founding member... Should we charge dues?"

He placed his chopsticks on the bowl, once he finished his soup. Followed by a reliefed 'Ahh'. He looked back her, she must of tried hard to get a significant other. He looked down at his bowl then back at her with a soft smile.
"I was never...Well...I....Uh....."
He honestly didn't know what to tell her at the moment. He takes a pause to think about what he was going to say. Then finally he was came up with the words to say to her.
"I never had a girl interested in me before and I never really tried. Guess I never had the confidence to do so. There were some girls who giggled as I walked by, but I think it was because I was doing something stupid or had something on my face."
When she talked about the club. He couldn't really say anything. So he kind of just stared at her blankly. Then was able to blurt out a long and dragged out one worded sentence.
"Wha?..."

Penny turned her brown eyes to him and listened to him talk. Those eyes got wide when she realized he never actually had anyone hit on him. "I just get the 'You are so sweet' speech. Then they ask me to make something to impress a pretty girl." Her hand reached out and she patted his shoulder. "You'll find someone. You are very nice, cute, and funny. You'll find someone don't worry about it." She really wasn't looking but it still hurt getting passed up all the time.
The girl blinked at his question and giggled a bit. She wasn't joking but then he didn't need to know that. "I was kidding." No she really wasn't but this was one of the rare time she'd tell a small untruth. It really wasn't in her nature but she didn't want him to think she was a lame loser, at least not for a little bit since she was having fun.
