"I dunno. I always thought they just didn't find me attractive I guess. A few girls giggled at me once when I walked by, in this state. But never really talked to any. Well there is this girl at work who always looks down whenever I look at her."
He chuckles thinking about it. How he was so terrible with women.
"Well yea. I'm off work, so if you want we can talk about it the whole day if you wish. Though I highly doubt you would want to spend to much time with me. I am rather boring."
He said honestly with a smile on his face. He knew most of his faults and occsionally brings them up. It's a fun trick really. If a person does that and ends up in a verbal fight with another. The other person can't really say anything as the original person already accepted the facts that get spurred out. A kinda win, win factor there. Because well he doesn't care about his image, just if he could be of use. He looks at his watch once more seeing that it is now 4 in the morning.
"Oh boy, I'm glad I am off work."

," Lilija asked, a little curious but also to make conversation as they walked. " Is she someone capable of a long, steady relationship or... is she some kind of momentary thing?" Momentary women were, to Corpse, a waste of time. They sucked up all the resources and jobs, and really they distracted potentially hard working members of society. In other words, she generally detested - but accepted - them, even if she found it to be pointless and wasteful. " Work? You have a job, or you referring to some kind of mission?"[/ul]

"Just a girl, no one I am really interested in I guess."
He said as he shrugs a bit. Talking about relationships so fast, he should of expected her bluntness on the the topic. After what learned from her, he wasn't caught off guard. Though talking about a long commitment, he could handle same thing if he was in one. The trouble for him was is getting one. And onto the work part.
"I need to make my own money. I can't leech off Genosha, the money belongs to the rest of its people. Never take something until you earned it. At least that is what I believe."

" Interesting tidbit about leeching off money, it brought a smirk to the Icelander's face. " Really?," she began by asking. " And what exactly could you do, talent-wise? To bring you money, that is." They finally reached the front doors of her hotel, and before going in Lilija looked back to Hiro once more. " Last chance to bail.," she said, then stepped inside the rotating doors to begin her way to the elevators, which would take her to the very top floor; the location of the suites, including hers.[/ul]

"Talk."
He said with a smile. His job was basicly that, with bagging groceries, moving carts, cooking, and a bunch other everyday things. But talking made people comfortable around. And not to mention gets him a higher tip than most other co-workers.
His eyes widen at the very look of the hotel. It....Was....HUGE! Well at least in his humble eyes. After living in the slums and a small apartment complex, anything like this would surprise you. He didn't respond to what she said. Not knowing whether or not it was mean't for this or for Genosha. But he had a feeling that it was for the suite, or hopefully that is.
He was already here, so why not? He follow her to the open glass elevator. The young man he watched in awe as they rose higher and higher until they reached her floor.
"Very nice..."

," she said, as if she'd browsed a catalog of potential hotels to stay at. " This one just happened to be closest to where I wanted, so naturally I went with it." Going up inside the elevator, the faint sound of music reached her ears. It was fairly quiet at this hour, considering most were asleep and the front lobby was dead, save one desk clerk. Lilija found it rather soothing, though she wasn't tired she probably would be in this environment. " Where do you stay on Genosha?"[/ul]

The young man looked around, still awe struck of such a place. It was not a big thing for most people. And many took it for granted. He wasn't saying he had a terrible life just because he wasn't able to live this. But it would be nice once and a while. Right?
"Good taste, I suppose."
He said not really caring to think up a decent answer. Not because he was growing tired of her or awe struck. He was just plain tired, he hadn't had a lot of sleep as of late. But due to his endurance he is able to stain himself and continue the talk. He was asked where he stayed in Genosha.
"I haven't been able to stay in Genosha. Well long enough to keep a place to stay in anyway."

," she asked. " Seems... odd, to say the least." Magneto surely would have given him an apartment, a shack, something. " I have a simple little apartment. It has two rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Nothing fancy, but it serves it's purpose. Maybe you'll get one soon, they have a nice view of Hammer Bay." Up some more floors, but many more to go. They'd be there soon enough, just a little bit longer.[/ul]

"Nope. When I was recruited, I was sent to a mission already."
He said with a shrug, he didn't mind. He has really spent a lot of time there. Nor was he planning to, always being sent from mission to mission. Instead of staying in the elevator he walks in and lays on the couch.
"Sounds pretty normal. I have the same thing around her, though I think yours might be a much better than mine. Having a nice view and all."
Can't say he wasn't a bit jealous but nor could he say that he cared for it. He was content with how he live so far. He would rather be like this a appreciate everything than have everything and appreciate nothing.

: The elevator hadn't even reached her floor, and even if it did, she hasn't opened her door. But we'll just go on and assume she has. ] Exiting the elevator and entering her hotel room, Lilija would turn on the light and be reminded of everything inside: luxury. " Make yourself at home, Hiro." That said, she could shut the door, lock it, and lay her key-card on the kitchen counter. " It's very spacious, so you shouldn't feel claustrophobic or anything. To be honest, I keep forgetting just how large this place is." Snapping her fingers, a plasma screen television came on to the default channel: CNN. Glancing to it for a moment, Lilija only saw typical reports on the government until a brief mention of current events detailing with Genosha and it's leader Magneto. It seemed, even it was still twilight, the Brotherhood were celebrities. Only their fifteen minutes of fame was constant, forever trapped in a repetitive cycle to live over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...[/ul]

When she told he could make himself at home. He took his time doing it, he rested on the couch for a moment before leaning back up. He took a look around in amazement, he hasn't been in a place like this before. He rubbed his chin and looked up the ceiling to to think for a moment before turning his attention towards the huge T.V that was a plasma. At first he was amazed until he watch the newscast on the brotherhood.
He stared off for a moment before resuming their little talk. To think these two have been talking until dawn.
"Yeah, it is really spacious. And well I'm not all of that clastr---. Um, clasta---. Well, you know what I mean."
He said not being able to pronounce claustrophobic, correctly. He let out a soft sigh, knowing his english was still not completely good. He leans back into the couch. He was a little more relaxed than normal, maybe because of the atomsphere. Or the couch was a lot more comfortable then his own bed at home.

," she asked, convinced he was going to sleep on it just like that. It was large enough, so it wasn't as if he'd roll over and fall off. Elsewhere the television continued to show various clips and footage of events happening worldwide, some of them pertaining to mutants and some not so much. In particular the scrolling headline about rising gas prices caught her eye, but she said nothing as the remote was lifted and the screen went to black. It was off now, and Lilija was somewhat glad. " Claustrophobic.," she said, pronouncing the word for him. " And good, that's one less thing to worry about."[/ul]

He sits up and stands up looking around. He wasn't going to make her trouble herself for him. After all he was her guest, he couldn't make her do anything for him. He smiled stretching himself out to keep himself awake a bit longer.
"Sure, where are they at? I'll get them."
He watched as she took up the remote and turn off the tube without a word. It looked like she didn't want to watch anymore, he didn't mind. Truth be told he didn't want to watch any of it either. He listens to what she had to say and nodded.
"Yep."
Was his answer, couldn't really say much after that.

," she said, pointing to a door just across from where Hiro was. " There's a good number in there, so take as many and much as you need. Just put them back when you wake up, I feel bad for letting room service do everything; I enjoy being viewed a clean person." That said, Lilija began attending to the lights turning them all off except a single lamp in the living room. Some light was needed, it left a sense of security and for Hiro, it'd probably be nice to see if he needed to get up, for the bathroom or a snack. " Anything else?" If not, it was going to be lights out.[/ul]
