Maya took a sideways glance at Chance as he grasped her hand. It was comforting to know that he was right there besides her if something did go wrong. Not that there would be something wrong, but Maya's pessimistic side couldn't help but wonder what if. She cast him a small smile as her stomach settled and he told her to ask Ali, the flight attendant, for anything that might come to her mind.
"Alright then." she said before looking over the list of movies that Chance had on the shelves of his private jet. Well Maya wasn't up for any movies involving plane crashes- so Snakes on a Plane was out. Call her superstious or just a little freaked out, but she didn't think it was appropriate to watch something about impending doom.
"Well how about... Finding Nemo? If you don't mind." she said with a small grin. Disney movies were always entertaining and had some form of adult humor hidden away in the dialogue. Plus she didn't really want to watch the movie. It was more background music if anything.

His thumb glided along her knuckles as he closed his eyes and settled back to relax as she decided what they wanted to watch. One blue eye opened and looked over at her with a grin. "Finding Nemo it is then. What would you like to drink? Any popcorn?" He leaned over and kissed her gently as he motioned for Ali that Finding Nemo was indeed the movie they were wanting to watch. The fasten seat belts light came off as they leveled out and the captain made the announcement. Chance undid his and grinned over at her as he turned his chair to look at her. "So... what do you think?"

Maya knew that she wouldn't get to hear the animated fish talking on the screen, but she wanted something playing on the screen to distract her if Chance had to make his way to the restroom or something else. She hated to be scrutinized by strangers, like Ali and the other flight attendants.
"Nope, I'm good for now." she said, however just as those words escaped her, her mouth was drier than before. "Actually I'll have a water." she smiled while she was kissed gently by him. Maya leaned back over and kissed him as he asked about her feelings of the plane.
It was nice, very lavish. Somewhat over indulgent. But just the way Maya would picture a private jet if she had a choice to even purchase one in the future. However far in the future that would be.
"I think this is amazing." Maya said while taking another wide eyed look around. "But I already used that adjective, so lets say this is beyond words. When you said Italian, I didn't even think of going to Italy."

Chance nodded and then smothered a grin when sh asked for a water. He opted for a Mt. Dew. The young man smiled into the kiss she gave him and looked into her eyes. She really did have beautiful eyes. Blue eyes watched her closely as she contemplated his question and her answer. He wondered what she was really thinking but figured she'd tell him if she wanted him to know.
He chuckled at her wide eyed look and was glad he didn't have to remind himself that she wasn't like the other girls he'd dated. Or the woman he... Well he wasn't going to think about that either. "Well I'm glad you like it, and don't worry I do know some Italian restaurants back in Boston as well. So, the next time we go Italian I'll take you to one of them." About then the movie started, completely with subtitles.

Maya smiled, "I'm sure that both would be amazing." Maya didn't want to be seen as one of those over indulging women. She was just as happy to be ordering take out with him and sitting on the couch curled up in a blanket. However this extravagant gesture meant more to Maya than she'd ever thought it could.
Her eyes flickered over to the animation on the screen, but then back to her boyfriend.
"So what would you recommend the penne or the lasagna here?" she asked while tilting her head up to see his face.

Chance flashed her that boyish grin of his and then sipped his drink. "I can also just have them deliver or get carry out. I almost took to Maine for lobster, but I thought for the first official act as your boyfriend, I'd do something a bit bigger." He grinned and winked at her. He wanted to make an impression but not something his father would have done. As much as he loved his dad and as much as his mother seemed to adore him, he came off as a bit controlling. Chance didn't care for that, which is why he didn't buy her a dress or jewelry, not yet.
The young man thought about her question. "You'd probably love their lasagna. Me however, I prefer their six cheese Manicotti." His mouth watered just thinking about it and he stomach growled in agreement. Man he shouldn't have mentioned that now he was really starved.

"Maine? That can be a fun trip." she smiled as she squeezed his hand in hers. "So this is your first official act a a boyfriend? I'd love to see what the others will be." Every girl liked to be a little bit spoiled.
"Hmm those both sound good." she said, just imagining herself in Italy eating those dishes. "How long is the flight over? I've never actually been over seas before. Do you think that they'll call us Ugly Americans for just flying over for dinner?" she asked. There were many foreign countries that did not like the so called arrogant American person. Maya knew she wasn't one of them and Chance certainly wasn't the type to be rude or inconsiderate of a different culture. However there were some of her acquaintances that could fit the profile.

Chance chuckled and made the mental note to book a trip to Maine in the future. "Not all of them will be this extravagant. But for me it's more the intent behind it. Think of the things you'll be able to see and you can say you've been there." He kissed her temple softly and then sipped his drink. He was definitely going to spoil her, not the way some of the girls at school were spoiled, but he was. As much as he wanted to get her a several thousand dollar set of earrings, he had a feeling she'd appreciate it more if he kept it simple, and slightly cheaper.
"Then get both. That's what I plan to do." He winked over at her. Honestly, he didn't know how long it took since he never paid attention before. He always had something going on. "I have no clue. My parents always kept me distracted so I didn't ask, Are we there yet." He grinned kissed her cheek. "Not at that restaurant, they wouldn't dare."

"As long as you don't whisk me away during mid terms or something like that. Ms. Frost would probably chase us down in her very own jet." Maya laughed as she was kissed on her forehead. For some reason his lips on her temple made her slight anxiety of flying disappear. After all she was supposed to fearless - or at least appear to be.
"Both? I think I'd need an extra stomach for all of that." she said rolling her eyes playfully at him. Maya wasn't one of those girls that only ate a cube of cheese for meals, she had a hearty appetite. However she didn't want to make herself sick by bingeing on Italian's finest.
"Ah, well then I think we'll just have to distract ourselves in the mean time" she mused, "So what part of Italy are we going to? Not that I'd know the names of the cities."

Chance arched a brow and looked thoughtful, as if he were contemplating doing just that. Then he grinned. "Hell no. I don't want to end up dead or worse a drooling vegetable. But on breaks and weekends, barring any major exams, then yeah, I'd whisk you away." He gave her a wink and held onto her hand. He could tell she was slightly nervous and he wanted to help ease that fear.
"We can always take it home. Or.... You can get the lasagna, I can get the shells and we can share." He gave her that little boy grin at that suggestion. Best of both worlds there. "And how to propose we distract each other?" Blue eyes sparkled with the challenge as he sipped his drink. "Alas, the overly used cliche of Rome. But, it's a great place so I can't argue. Are you alright?"

'Sounds decadent." she winked back. Echo liked the idea of running away with Chance to some foreign country. Suddenly it dawned on her how different Chance was from other guys she'd dated. He was just as sweet, but there was something else. Maya couldn't put her finger on it, but she would figure it out sooner or later. For now she just settled with holding his warm hand in hers.
"Not sure it would last the plane trip." she smiled, "I think sharing would be a good idea." Maya thought about what they could do. There was already a movie up, but she wasn't really watching it.
"We could talk." Maya suggested, "You can tell me things about your life. Or we could talk about Rome."

Chance smirked at her choice of words. Decadent, it could be. "I thought that word was only used for rich chocolatey things." He grinned to let her know he was teasing. Gently he squeezed her hand to let her know that he was and will be there for her. Also, he hoped that it helped to keep her from being nervous. He wanted her to enjoy her the flight.
"Then share we will, and so what if it didn't last the plane trip? We have places to store it if there are several things you just have to try. Unless you can wait until next time." He grinned winked at her. There would definitely be a next time, well several if he had anything to say about it.
Both brows went up in surprise when she said they could talk. Usually she tells him he talks too much. He was in such shock he couldn't help but stammer a bit. "Well, my family is white collar who tends to pretend to be blue collar. Like city folk going to a dude ranch and the old, balding, pudgey CEO thinks he's a cowboy. Oh wait, I just described my dad...."

"You are rich, however I'm not too sure about the chocolate part." she teased. Maya re-crossed her legs and leaned over in her seat to close the bit of space between them. Something about having him closer made her feel more comfortable.
"Next time?" she raised an eyebrow,"Oh I think multiple trips would have to happen. How else can I experience Italy?"
Maya watched as Chance explained a bit about his family. She knew the type, but didn't think that her boyfriend came off exactly like his father.
"Sounds like you don't like him?" she asked lightly.

Chance gave her a crooked smile. "White chocolate? Can that be decadent?" He chuckled and shook his head. The young man removed his hand from hers and wrapped it around her shoulders. His other hand then came up to take the hand that was left alone.
"Then multiple trips you will have." He kissed her temple and rested his forehead against hers. The light for them to buckle back up came on as they would be landing soon.
He let out a soft chuckle and shook his head. "No, I love my dad. I think he's just funny as hell to watch when it comes to things like that. You ever see Wizard's of Waverly Place? He's kind of like the principal, thinks dressing up makes him a cowboy. Now I believe the principal was from Texas, but that didn't make him a cowboy. Anyway, no my dad cracks me up."

"It could be." she smiled as he put his arm around her. Maya couldn't contain her grin as he pressed his lips against her an then his forehead. Was it the flight or the company that made her slightly light headed?"Perfect."
The flashing seat belt light caught her attention and the girl quickly fastened it and looked back over to Chance. Maya watched as he said he did indeed love his father.
"No I've never seen that before." she said, curious to know what this show was now. "For some reason I can't imagine you ever wearing a cowboy hat and boots." Unless he was shirtless. Maya giggled at the thought.
