Peyton was not expecting that to happen but then she didn't really understand the ramifications of napalm either. Just what she'd ever seen in the movies but the scope of it was still never truly defined. Seven blocks way and she could feel the residuals of the heat and the shaking that landed her on her ass. There was no way anyone survived that. Absently her mind tried to figure out the death and dying toll and it recoiled and revolted at the thought. This is where being a mutant and a fairly decent person fucked you over. Do you let yourself be caught and tortured in order to save innocent lives, or do you let those who look at you as if you were filth die so you can get away. Apparently, she let them die so she could get away. That thought made her sick and she pulled herself up and began to walk away figuring the crazy bitch was gone as well.

Kimura finally came to wondering what the hell just happened then her brain kicked in and it all came back to her. She sat up the best she could pushed the debris off her and got up and looked down at her self to see how bad of a shape she was in and noted she was fine except for being butt naked “Mental note never do that again unless wearing fire proof clothing.” She said with annoyance in her voice as she began to look around the building she had been thrown through for something anything to put on. After some looking she managed to find a dead woman and took her clothes seeing as she wouldn’t be needing them anymore.
She then left out the back the building and made her down the street quickly not wanting anyone to know she had been at ground zero and end up playing 20 questions with the police and the FBI. She manage to spot Peyton as she walked away “Leaving so soon already? We hardly got to know each other.” she said like nothing bad had just happened.

Peyton turned as the woman came up to her and she arched a brow in surprise. "You sure you aren't a mutant?" She continued to walk wanting to get as far away from the chaos as possible. It wouldn't be long before... Yup there were the sirens. She ducked into an alley to get out of view of the incoming emergency vehicles and not even caring if Kimura followed her or not. Her neck rolled as she tried to relieve the tension there. It's not like she had anything to tell the woman about Logan anyway.
Her head turned to see if the other woman was following her or not. She didn't really care although she hoped she wasn't. "Look, I can't tell you what I don't know. I don't usually talk shop with the guys I am with. They tend not to like to find out they aren't my one and only." That was true and Logan wasn't one that was often forthcoming with information. At least from what she could gather.

“Honestly? I really don’t know anymore. One I can under stand being glitched but two?” Kimura just walked near Peyton and headed into the alley as well to avoid being seen by the wave of incoming emergency vehicles that were coming. Everything had changed now including her view on her former job which she decided to quit not wanting to work for liars. It was one thing they lied to other people it was another when they lied to her.
“Between you and me Kimura died in that blast along with her job so I don’t care what happened between you and Logan anymore. I have other things to deal with right now.” she said not looking at the woman as she began thinking over everything that had happen. And she was so confused about the whole damn thing and having no idea what she was going to do now.

"Yeah, I think you really need to look into that then. Cuz I'm sorry, enhanced human or not, your hair didn't even singe, that can't be normal for an enhanced human, can it?" At leas the woman kept up with her, still not sure how she liked that but only one way to find out what was going to happen now and that was to stick it out and see. She hadn't really been injured, which was a bonus since it could have hampered her work.
"Fair enough seeing as how I'd rather not get tortured over a guy I barely know. So if Kimura is dead who are you?" So maybe, just maybe there was a bit of compassion for the woman's whose world literally went BOOM. Peyton was sap, apparently and looked over at her. "You need a place to crash and clean up? I got some clothes that might fit you and are more suited to your tastes, probably." That and she was still hungry since she hadn't really had a chance to eat yet before the place got blown to hell.

“They told me it was part of what they did to me at the time I didn’t care and just went with it happy to know no one could hurt me anymore unless I chose it.” she starting to hate these clothes now that she was really moving in them they were smaller then she had first thought. And the shoes wasn’t all that much better.
“Sierra.” she said after a long moment hearing the name she had long gave up was strange to hear again. She looked up and over at the other woman “Yeah, I’ll pay you back later.” she replied not really paying any mind to what was going on around them and just walked following the woman as she was lost in her thoughts again.

Peyton looked over at her as they crossed into another alley leading them to the place she was staying. "I can understand that logic. Not wanting to be able to be hurt anymore, I probably wouldn't care if they offered me something like that either. Depending on if I hadn't had people to pull me through the hurt times. I was one of the lucky ones, I had a whole family and one special friend that gave shit." She wasn't going to let her mind travel that road because it was just as much a happy one as a painful one.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Sierra." She slid the other woman a glance as they neared her building. "Don't worry about paying me back, wait until you see if you find anything you like or want first. Not beating the hell out of me or killing me should be payment enough. Or consider it payment for getting me away from the Sentinels. Either way call it good and that's that." Peyton made her way into the high end hotel and picked up her key at the desk. Then she motioned for Sierra to follow her as she made her way to the penthouse elevator. "Going up."

“That makes one of us then all I had was a friend that helped somewhat, my grandmother tried to but the damage had already been done thanks to my parents and classmates. After I got my powers I went home to thank them.” She said the last part in a cold and uncaring voice she held no love for those people. Hopefully Peyton got the idea of what she did because she wasn’t going to go into detail about it. Sure most of them are alive if you could call it that they probably wouldn’t.
“Fair enough.” she just followed after the other woman now that she brought that up she was going to have to hunt down the number for her friend and hoped she still lived in Canada and give her a call. “This place still nice as ever it seems.” she said as she looked around the place before getting into the elevator to the penthouse.

"Funny we have something in common. I just turned out differently refusing to be a classic statistic only to forge my own statistic. At least you had two people, that had to count for something. Apparently, they had more of an effect than you thought if you are talking to the woman you were ready to kill. Hope you thanked them properly, I've had to stop a friend from thanking mine." She slid the other woman a look and just stopped short of patting her shoulder. It was so odd this situation she was in yet Peyton had a habit of adjusting to any situation she was put into.
The Latina smirked and nodded. "The owner is/was a client of mine. He gave me the penthouse as payment. It was something he could write off and not have to explain to his wife. Well his ex wife. I use this when I'm here in New York, it's a good place for business." She slid the card and waited to reach the penthouse. She stepped into the hall that separated the elevator from the suite and opened the door. "Welcome to my humble abode. Sorry the bar is stocked with sodas and juices. I don't drink... Bu then you'd know that by my file." She made her way to her room and opened the large closet. "Have at it. The bathroom is right through there if you want to grab a shower. I can order up something to eat if you are hungry."

She shrugged “I get paid a lot of money for being the way I am. Besides the jobs I take on having to deal with the people I do having a heart will end in a quick death. So I’m pretty much made for it. Yeah I did the ten year class reunion is going to be very, very small unless they have it in the ICU.” she smirked at the thought it almost made her want to go back just to see if they did it and to see the looks on there faces when she shows up. It’d be classic and she would take a picture of it.
“Well that’s one way to do it. Ex-wife? She found out?” she followed her out of the elevator down the hall to the room. She looked around the place “It’s not much of a drinker anyways I’m an odd drunk if I do go that far.” something she only did a few times and didn’t enjoy it. She looked in the closet and raised a brow “You could get lost in there.” Sierra wasn’t the type to have a ton of clothing and she hated shopping she thought it was the root of all evil. She never understood why anyone would want to spend hours in a store. If she had to buy something she would get in get it and get out as fast as she could. “uh…ok that sounds good.” she said still eying the closet not really caring what Peyton ordered she wasn’t really picky.

Peyton couldn't stop the smirk. Yeah she'd have loved to taken out a few of her classmates at one time or another. She shook her head and looked at her. "Now what are you going to do? You've been like this too long to not be something similar. It would be like me giving up prostitution. There is only one thing in this world that would stop me from doing what I do, and that doesn't seem very likely." There were maybe two people in the world she'd give up her job for and neither seemed to want her in that fashion if their pasts were any indication.
"Nah, she just married him to divorce him and take half his fortune. Didn't work out that way she didn't pay attention when she signed the pre nup, she figured her lawyer would get her out of it. There was a stipulation that they had to stay married for fifteen years before she was able to garner any alimony. Usually, the mandatory is around ten years or so. She lasted about ten years and then tried to cry irreconsilable differences and blah blah. The bitch got nothing because she kept a journal plotting her way to the top. Dumb ass." She grabbed two sodas and made her way into the room. She snickered at her comment about getting lost. "Don't worry, I'll be your guide. Here." She handed Sierra the soda and her eyes narrowed as she studied the woman then started doing a mental calculation about what clothes she had on hand. While she thought about it she called room service and placed the order.

“Leaving that government facility is just a small thing I do a lot of other things depending on what I’m paid to do. I just have more time to take on more jobs now.” She replied then smirked “You really didn’t believe me when I said I worked for the government did you? The FBI, CIA, and hardly anyone else knows about it the President and a few people in the white house are the only ones that really knows what‘s going on.” she took the soda and opened it.
She just shoot her head and wouldn’t have mind seeing the look on the woman’s face when she found out she wasn’t getting anything just to laugh at her. “Stupid gold diggers.” at lest that was one thing she would never have to worry about she was never one for the dating boyfriend thing and anyone that worked for her was to sacred of her to try anything. “Great, because I really think I would get lost in here or end up in Narnia.” she took the soda and opened it as she looked at everything in there or what she could see from where she was.

One dark brow arched and she nodded a bit. "Nope didn't believe you. Well I didn't believe you worked for the basic ones like the FBI and CIA. Some deep covert, doesn't exist kind of thing I probably would have believed since you were strong arming me." Peyton sipped her own drink and started walking through the closet trying to figure out what kind of out she'd have that a woman like Sierra would wear. Most would think leather but she wasn't sure that was really the woman's style.
"She really was a dumb ass. You a denim girl or leather?" Peyton wasn't sure so she figured she asked, she'd want to say denim but... people can surprise you. She tossed Sierra a pair of black leather pants and a pair of black jeans. Then she went looking for a top. She found a black leather vest that could work as a top without any shirt underneath and tossed that to her as well. "Meh, not Narnia. Neiman Marcus maybe." She grinned at the woman and went looking for the shoes.

“It wont be a secret much longer there billion dollar weapons keep escaping and people will learn about them.” Sierra stood there thinking over what she just said “Unless I decide to out them myself. Bring them into the light.” At one point she was hell bent on keeping the facility going no matter what but now she might be the one to bring it down.
“Either.” she said snapping out of her thoughts just before she was hit by a pair pants then another one. Some how she managed keep from spilling her drink and not losing the pants. She looked down at the stuff and everything went dark as the vest landed in a way to cover her view. “Neiman Marcus?” ok she had no idea who that was and didn’t to much on it as she reached up she pulled vest down out of her view just in time to see Peyton looking at shoes and hoped she wasn’t going to throw those too. Not that she would feel it she didn’t think she could catch them as well with out losing something.

"Damn those weapons that can just get up and walk away. That's what they get for trying to make something perfect, it always backfires. Haven't they ever seen the damn movies?" She was only partially joking but she had a firm belief the more you think you control something the less of a hold you truly have on them. Brown eyes turned and looked at other woman. "Tread carefully. If they know how you work they'll know what you are weak to. I'd suggest getting back up from someone unknown to them before starting your little vendetta." That was of course just her opinion.
The girl laughed when the vest landed no Sierra's head. "Neiman Marcus... The store? George of Jungle... 'Oooh, big shiny cave.'" She chuckled again and found the boots she was looking for and came back to Sierra. They were a pair of biker style boots. "These work or do you prefer the combat or bitch boot style?" It's not like Peyton didn't have plenty. "Yes, I love to shop and fortunately my work demands it. I have to be able to be anyone at any time. Most of these were bought for me by clients and the perk was I got to keep them." Sometimes, Nymph loved her job.
