"Are you kidding me? I haven't had a dull day in months. Do you know who else teaches in that school? Victor Von Damme....a freaking billionaire weapons designer who walks around looking like a colour washed Darth Vader....some of those students could literally kill someone by accident....seriously too...not like regular kids who do something wreckless and someone ends up hurt. These kids have super powers." Oh mutants...what a crazy bunch they were.

Kendra laughed. "So I stand corrected." The woman tossed her pony-tail off of her shoulder. "I gotta say I don't envy you." She stated as the waitress brought their drinks to the table. Kendra took the first sip of her wine and closed her eyes for just a moment, the taste was so nice to savour. It'd been a while since she'd had good wine- since she'd last come to Boston. "Do you have any free time?"

"Oh yeah, I basically get every evening and weekend to myself. I might have to spend a while going over papers or coming with assignments and the like...but its a teaching position. Maybe a bit more, the occasional make sure nobody's wandering the halls duty, but its good." he explained, before noticing the waitress arrive with there drinks. With a nod and a thanks he took his stout. Ah he had been looking forward to that!

"sounds busy." Kendra said taking a setting her wine glass down. She smirked slightly, he needed to step up talking about her some, she couldn't be talking all about him on her birthday after all. The mutant woman leaned forward on the table looking over Alex. Practically begging him with her eyes to talk about her.

"Just means less time for me to get into mischief." smiled back the teacher from Ireland. "What about you? Get up to much over the last little while?" There was something about her face....he had a sneaking suspicion that she wanted to talk about herself for a bit. Good....his plan was proceeding perfectly....

"Me?" She said looking him over with her hand raised to her lips. The conversation switched back to her, good her plan was proceeding perfectly. "Oh, not much on my end. Just trying to make enough money to celebrate with, you know how it is with this economy." Just ask, you want to ask what it is about what I'm celebrating, come on ask. Kendra mentally willed him to ask, she wasn't a very mysterious girl but she could put on heirs if she wanted to.

"Oh don't get me started on the economy!" at this Alex sat back in his seat, rolling his eyes before taking a deep sip of his stout. "I look at my bills these days, and its like....where did this come from? It is.....crazy! I pity the kids trying to just get out of school and start working, can you imagine getting a mortgage today?"

Kendra sighed. "Yeah, no kidding." She leaned one elbow on the table looking bored. Damn, she was getting stuck in neutral really fast, and she wasn't liking it. At this rate she'd have a better chance with a lonely guy hooking up with her at a bar- not that she was looking for 'love' but she was certainly looking for some companionship.
She chewed on her pinky finger looking over for the waitress, where was she? Shouldn't she be bringing them food to fill the unbearable idea of talking about the economy? What's next he going to hate on the snow for a little while?
