Dean arrives at the parking lot as the text told him to. He wondered who sent it but at the same time his question remained in his head. His thoughts were spinning out of control "just like Me?..Mutant? what...am...I?" He sits on a red Chevy as his thought then questioned" and what is a mutant?" He looks at the ground puzzled as the thoughts went into a circle from the day he realized his powers to this very moment.

"A mutant is the next step of evolution." Sage answered as she walked up to the boy. "Homo superior, if you will. The mutation gives people powers... as you have already noticed in yourself. Or perhaps you have seen the recent news reports concerning the sinking of the USS Enterprise?"
She paused for a second, tapping her fingers on her crossed arms. "Not all mutants are 'good', as you will soon learn." she continued.

Dean looked at her direction as he asks " the message was from you?" He stands to his feet as he looks at her. He then finally relaxes as he thinks to himself"USS enterprise?" He doesn't usually watch the news unless there was a tornado but then again how was she to know that. He then realizes that she said something about powers and the next evolution. He then replies to her "then what made me into this "mutant" as you call it." He obviously doesn't know what a mutant is or anything about anything she has to him but he no longer will run from her.

"Of course the message was from me." Sage replied. Honestly, who did he expect sent it? The Easter bunny?
"The mutation is called by the X-gene. It is passed onto the fetus from one of the parents and manifests around puberty. It enables a mutant to naturally develop superhuman powers and abilities. Your ice breath, for example. Or my telepathy and cyberpathy."
She pulled a newspaper out of her bag and tossed it to him. "The USS Enterprise. Sunk by a mutant named Magneto in retaliation for the US Government's attack on his island nation, Genosha. Killed all crew members on board."

Dean looked a the newspaper scared. He hen says" what a monster..." He seen what magneto did and he did not like it. Many innocence killed by one mutant. He steps back and looks at her in fear yet curiosity. He then asks"ice breath?"

"In his own way, Magneto thinks that he is doing the best thing for mutants." Sage responded with a shake of her head.
She paused, then nodded curtly. "Yes, ice breath. That is your primary mutation. What did you think you have, freezing spit?" Of course, she knew thats what he thought his powers were, but that was beside the point. "Can be quite useful, actually."

looked her in the eyes as he askes"usefull in what way?" He now accepts the fact that he is a mutant yet he has no idea what she has pllanned for him. He looks deep in her eyes trying to figure her out as the newspaper gets blown away by the cold wind. It is beginning to become a little windy as they talk. He did not want to become a monster such as magneto but he stilll needed somewhere to go.

Sage shook her head. "Ice also comes with the ability to freeze things, obviously. You could crystalize objects so that they'd shatter with the tiniest flick of someone's finger."
She paused for a second before continuing. "Now, you have a couple of choices. You can go along your merry way knowing what I told you. Or, there are also schools out there. Schools that can help you learn how to control your powers."
