," she informed the woman, right before taking her hand. There was no collapsing, shortage of breath, or even death, no. Lorna Lehnsherr was alive, and for the moment well. " Your body gives off a unique signature, much different than most I come into contact with. But nothing that cannot be perfected in due time.," Lorna smiled, rather pleased with herself at the moment. Maybe her company would as well. " Electro-magnetism, mine. It allows me to touch the so-called untouchable; my father is similar, I would assume. Our magnetic fields allow us to remain uninfluenced by another's physical-based powers, well, like yours." As she talked, Lorna's right index finger moved up and down Eleena's palm. " It must be quite a nuisance...," she said, twirling the finger in a circular motion now, driving home her next point. " ... unable to touch anyone. Is there anyone you've not been able to know because of this?"[/ul]

Feeling her mouth open slightly at the feeling of real human flesh touching her own skin made Morphia realize she wasn't dreaming.
"You can find ways around this touch thing..." She said finally able to wake up from her waking dream. "But I've not actually touched some one in years, not for more than a few seconds." She thought back to being young the yearning to be normal, the things she'd done to get around her powers, the realization that she'd never have a normal family.

" Morphia could see what Polaris could do, and Lorna knew it. In fact, it was the perfect pitch, but not now. Later, when things weren't so heated. Besides, the Brotherhood was still reeling after the attacks on America. No need to overdo it, there'd be other moments to seize. " Oh?," she asked, removing her hand from Morphia's. It was hard to tell if she was genuinely interested or feigning concern. Either way, it didn't stop the royal one from speaking. " I assume you've come no closer to achieving physical contact since coming here. Unlike my two siblings, I have a bit more boom in my cannon. If you're interested..." Polaris waited.[/ul]

The asian woman looked Polaris over, the little green haired nymph liked to throw around buzz words but her point wasn't very clear through speech. "Boom?" Morphia decided to press a little further. From what she could tell either the daughter of Magneto was either trying to 'pick her up' or recruit her, and at this juncture Morphia wasn't sure how she felt about either.

" Finally, Polaris laid down her glass that had been hovering in the air for quite some time. Letting it remain there for a moment before pushing it with her abilities, right towards Morphia. " A drink, on me.," she said with a light nod. " I doubt I'll go thirsty, considering who I am, right bartender?" Of course the figure nodded, they weren't going to get into bad graces with Magneto or his eldest offspring.[/ul]

Morphia took the drink. "And what exactly are you going to teach me?" The woman asked tapping the toe of her high heeled shoe on the floor.
Polaris was buying now was she? Well this was an unexpected thing, Morphia had figured she'd pick up the check for the princess as to make a good impression but then littler girl was using her status to get the free drinks, not that Morphia was about to complain.

," she responded. " If you're looking for ways to be able to make physical contact, we can arrange that. No power is too difficult to overcome, they all have their advantages and disadvantages. Some are difficult to solve, others... not so much. You'll be fine, if you're interested." Polaris had laid the cards down in front of Morphia, and now it was the Asian's choice as to what to do. She could decline, which was fine, but in doing so risked the scorn of Magneto's child. If she did go along with Polaris, there was the risk of being associated as a plotter or someone hoping to usurp Lorna's father. Of course the pros to each choice were there too, like in declining Lorna's offer Morphia would be free to do as she pleased, and without suspicion. In joining Polaris, Morphia could control her powers and be free to leave Genosha, having no real reason to stick around anymore. Ultimately, it was up to the other woman, and Polaris knew that, and waited. " Before you make a decision, let me ask you something. My father, has he offered to help you with your powers? Has Wanda or Pietro?"[/ul]

The gears in Morphia's head went from running on over drive to an abrupt halt when Polaris mentioned she could help her. Unwarranted, unhealthy and complete trust washed over Morphia, returning her hand to her self and staring down at the pale fingertips for a moment opening her mouth to dumbfoundedly accept. Then she mentioned about her siblings and father, instantly suspicions filled her mind sending a shiver down her spine. "Why?" the asian woman asked, realizing that Polaris wasn't some mother Theresa wanting to help people just for the hell of it.

," she said, responding to the Asian's choice of asking why as opposed to informing her to the other Lehnsherrs and their efforts. " I'll go ahead and assume, you're nowhere near the level of control you would like, and that you hang around, hoping, someone will be able to guide you there. But I'll be the first to admit this, Genosha does not cater to those who wait, but those who act. Hesitate at my offer, and you'll be left behind." Of course that probably wouldn't satisfy the other woman's curiosity, so Polaris would placate her further. " I merely asked to confirm my own suspicions, is all. There are times my father is so caught up in using us as mere soldiers, he neglects that very reason so many of us came to him." That should do, she thought, and merely smiled wanly. It wasn't a model's look, but it was just perfect for Lorna.[/ul]
