"....Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States of America, make no mistake! Mutants are people, but mutants are dangerous, we have already seen the destructive nature and ability of the terrorist Magneto. We have seen these.....vigilante groups, The X-men and The Hellions tearing up our streets with their conflicts! We are not asking for mutants to be placed into concentration camps! This is still America, Land of the free! But Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to know who these people are! Mutant Registration is good for everyone, it lets us know who these people are, what they can do and it helps us, help them! I'm Senator Kelly, and I'm asking you this, when you walk into that voting booth on the fifteenth of this month, you vote Yes! to mutant registration!"
Ladies and Gentlemen that was the speech given by Senator Kelly, one of the most vocal members of the Friends of Humanity, the coalition of Politicians who believe in taking steps in protecting everybody, in the emergence of Mutantkind. You saw it here first on CNN."
That TV was quickly turned off after that. They didn't need to watch anymore.

Crackling tendrils whipped wildly around Lorna Lehnsherr as the news was broadcast. Apparently Genosha picked up television signals just as well as anyone else, which struck the princess as odd. Wouldn't their enemies disrupt their ability to receive signals? Knock out cell phones, computers, and radio and television, you could really starve a community. Oh well, she'd think about such things later, right now there was a new volume being unveiled. Unfortunately for this Senator Kelly, Polaris was an avid reader. " Hmph." Nothing else needed to be said, that about summed it up. Maybe one of the other Brotherhood members would have something to contribute, or perhaps they were all too cautious or afraid of the Mistress of Magnetism. Smart move on their part, considering she'd actually done her job, going above and beyond the expectations for her cause. Still, a little backbone was impressive to see from time to time, and maybe, just maybe, someone would provide their input. Until then, Polaris dangled a trio of pens in the air, swerving and tilting them to her amusement.[/ul]

Exodus was also watching, he was sitting, just not on a chair. Instead, telekinetically hovering in place, legs crossed in something similar to the lotus position, one elbow resting on a knee, a fist supporting his chin.
"They've tried." Exodus announced, looking towards Polaris. "But they're inferior minds have been unable to devise a manner of blocking or scrambling their signals in a manner we can't counter act. After all, the Master of Magnetism is on our side." Magneto was both a genius, and with his abilities, producing machines and computers was a simple task. Combined with the fact Genosha had the largest gathering of telepaths in existence, well it was hard to keep a password or keycode safe.
"But this is further proof your father is right. They wish to brand us. Or at least, the ones we have not been able to liberate from America." continued the French mutant.

Pietro stood watching the tv with his arms folded. He was wearing an open collared grey suit with smart leather shoes, not exactly the best running gear but he wasn't too bothered about running fast today. As Senetor Kelly's speech finished a small smirk crossed over his lips. This was good, extremely good in fact. The more the American public pushed against it's mutant population the more that would become pushed in towards Genosha and their cause.
"This is just America acting scared. As if knowing what different mutants will do can protect them. Personally I don't see this as being anything but a good thing for us. We're here...safe on Genosha, all that we have to do now is send a message to the mutants of the world...come to Genosha and join us, I'm expecting that after this announcement there will be Homo-Supirior just itching to join with us. If we act correctly it can only strengthen us"

Mathius was sitting crossed legged, as one would do for mediation and seemed to be in meditation. He had opened his eyes as he heard the broadcast and stared deadly at the news and then looked to his brotherhood brethren as he took in their views of what it was about he had his own idea but he was sure never get accepted. He would just speak up his thoughts of course somewhat beastly even if he is in human form at the moment “we should just eliminate them for only the strong can survive in this world and human had their time they weak time we mutants become dominate race”.
He would look to the rest his beastly part of him itching for a chance to get some fun, as been a while since he had a mission to do. He had took a deep breath and looked around “why not eliminate the cause of the issue senator Kelly those work for him”. He would stand and stretch a bit he hated this waiting around being safe while other mutants be forced to reveal them selves and be targeted by those hate mutants. He had then spoken up again “we both know this tactic just a way of tagging mutants so they can control us mutants and hunt us down easier”. He would be more then happy to hunt this senator Kelly and put him out of his mutant hating misery for good.

Pietro smirked at the idea of one of the newer members of the brotherhood. His idea was....crude, indeed and Pietro believed it might be better to give Senetor Kelly enough rope to eventually hang himself...but assassination was an interesting idea. It could make the mutant opression even harder...which would then force the inevitable mutant/human civil war in America but it could also convince mutants to co-exist and fight against the people who killed senetor Kelly....hmm, an intersting problem, but overall it would possibly be too risky. "That would be nice...but that could mean another American attack...and we've not exactly recovered from the first one have we? and they could just decide to nuke us...that would be even more unfortunate. I might be able to out run an explosion but it would be unfortunate if my dear sister perished. he turned to Polaris and gave ehr a smirk.

Exodus's eyes ran over the one who liked to be called "Arktos," who he considered to be one the less impressive members of the Brotherhood. "By that logic I should eliminate you, weakling." the French mutant nearly spat it out. "How precisely do you propose we eliminate the mutants? What grand designs have been ticking away in that brain of yours? We're vastly outnumbered and while there are several individuals who who could cause significant damage on their own, it would just mean each one of us lost in a large scale war would be all the more damaging, most mutants can't deal with what some of us can." He specifically said some, quite sure several members of the Brotherhood didn't have the.....fire power of the others.
Then he suggested assassination, that was more.....possible. If still rather crude. "If Lord Magnus had wanted us to be assassinating individuals, I'm sure it would be a policy we would have implemented much sooner. We possess the moral high ground here, despite what they're media might preach to them." Humans had tried to wipe them out, they had retaliated. When Quicksilver spoke up, Exodus turned his attention to the stand in leader in Magneto's absence. "I don't expect them to declare nuclear war on us. The U.N. would never allow it."
