"I"m not sure what to say in response to that." she said pulling his chin down a bit so that he was looking into her eyes. "I'd have thought you'd been hooked by now." She wanted the best for Hiro, really she did. But Morphia wasn't sure how to express kindness any more. It was really a mute point for her after being a bitch for so long.

"What were your intentions?" He asked with much curiosity to what she said. With how she was speaking, she wanted him. This made him feel a bit better relationship wise, but then again, his emotions have led him wrong in the past. So if he wasn't completely sure, so he didn't want to make his assumptions public to her. His eyes looked into hers. "Obviously, that thought was incorrect." He said not trying to be rude, but trying to be logical.

Morphia shrugged. "My intentions?" She really wasn't sure what her intentions were any more. In regards to her self she felt depressed, some times like she wanted to settle down, other times like she wanted to kill her self. In regards to the brother hood she was feeling a bit worried as to it's stability. In regards to Hiro well... "I just want you to be happy kid. If some young thing with a heart of gold will do it for you then that's what I want." She had sort of stereotyped him as wanting a traditional japanese beauty, the type with long flowing hair and good manners, the type of girl who looked good in a kimono or school girl uniform.

Someone wanted him to be happy? He felt a laugh wantng to burst out of him, but it never happened. It was almost amusing how much people liked to lie in his face, and the thing was he never told anyone off even if he knew the truth behind the lie. Again he could only assume she wanted the best for him. But that doesn't mean he could take her word for it. A lot of people apperently wanted the best for him, and look how life has turned out for him. Was this the best? He doubted it, but made the best of what he had. One couldn't blame the asian for being a bit paranoid or skepical about this all. "I never met a girl with a heart of gold." He said calmly.

"Well you'll find her one day." Morphia said taking a bite of her food. She slid her plate back finished with it and then leaned a back a bit in her chair.
"Have you spoken with your family since you've come to new york?" Morphia wanted to get to know the kid better, but by that same right she'd probably blow off any question like this sent back to her, she hadn't willfully told any one about her family since she was 18.

He finished what was left on his plate, nothing went uneaten and the plate was completely cleaned off. Never waste food, not even a single grain of rice. Otherwise, the meal would be a wasted one. That was a value he had to learn himself. When she asked if he had talked to his family. He shook his head and answered. "No, I haven't. They are..." He took a moment to think of something to say. So he didn't have to reveal to much. "Dead." He said to a partial truth. They weren't dead, but they were to him after they sent him here, alone.

Morphia reached out and touched hand again. "I'm sorry, I... I recently lost a parent my self. It's never easy... was it long ago?" By now orphaned folk shouldn't shock Morphia, domestic baselines really shouldn't matter to her either, but every time she heard of orphan she still cringed inside. She almost wished most of the dead parent cases were abandoned kids it made it easier to hate the damnable baselines even more when they ditched their mutant kids.

So Morphia lost family just recently, must be hard...For her. She could of been close to her family. But then again maybe not, he would never know unless she told him. He lightly smiled at her and without saying a word, he lightly patted her back, all the while shaking his head. He couldn't lie to her anymore if he didn't talk. Oh, did he hate lying? Very much so. But did he hate revealing much about himself? Even more so. He was contrdicting himself in this. Though he never thought that anyone would try to get to know him. He leaned back on the soft booth chair and awaited something. Something that he didn't know what he wanted to await for. Did that make alot of sense? No, not even to him.

"Well kid, why so quiet all of a sudden?" She asked looking over at him. Morphia wasn't sure what he was waiting for she didn't like the silence. It made her feel uneasy. Perhaps it was all the years working with rowdy metal band boys who didn't know the meaning of the word silence, maybe it was because silence was the only thing she'd been left to after vicious beatings by her father. What ever the case it made her uneasy when no one was talking.

"A sad moment deserve some peace of mind." He stated wisely. He wondered what she was thinking about. He was curious enough to ask but was polite enough not to pry it open. He makes a slight sigh before standing up. Lowering a hand as a sign that he wanted to help her up. But knowing her she might not take his offer. "Where else would you like to go?"

"Your in the lead tonight." she said taking his hand and standing. Morphia smoothed out her tight black skirt as she looked around the room, it was still early people were only now just filtering in for the dinner rush. The asian woman looked her partner in the eye, they were probably the same height with her high heels on. "Where ever you want to go, I'll follow." She informed wondering how long she could possibly follow some one.

The more he thought the more he knew there was nothing else he really wanted to do. He used a lot of money already on the food, so that took away alot of things to do. In New York, one needed money to do things. And for a ninteen year old mutant warrior for Genosha...Well....A monthly allowance from mother Polaris usually is enough.....Kinda. He shrugged kinda wanting to go home. But what would Morphia think of the idea. Last time they were together at his place. Thing got.....Heated. He let out a sigh. He didn't want her to think he wanted her body....Again. "I don't know...Not a lot to do."

She strolled a bit a head of him, lifting her hair off of her neck gently exposing the scars on her back from her low dipped shirt line and the red tattoo reading 'demon born' across her shoulder blades. With a content sigh she removed her hands and crossed them over her breast letting the long black strands cascade down her back again. "Take all the the time you need to decide." Morphia informed looking back over her shoulder towards Hiro.

He put his hands in his pocket and did a slight pose without really thinking about it. He began to think about going home again, just go home pop out some soda and sit on the couch relaxing to top it all off watch a movie while reading a nice short book. With of course a warm breeze of the crappy heating system of his apartment blowing over his head. "I kinda wanna go to my apartment and relax a bit." He said casually. "It's your choice whether or not to join me." He began to walk to the direction of the apartment.

Morphia followed him, she had nothing better to do for the day. "You still have the car?" She asked one high heeled foot after the other trailing him slowly. "I could really go for a drive." she put her hands up as if it were a steering wheel.
