It was nearly afternoon, but Alexander was enjoying a lie in, or at least, he had enjoyed a lie in. It was about time to get up, greet the day and tackle whatever challenges it would bring. Scooting over in his bed, arms wrapped around Kendra's waist, nudging her with his waist to wake her up. "Time to rise and shine I'd reckon." started the Irish born mutant, placing a gentle kiss on the back of her neck.

Kendra smiled gently as her husband nudged her and kissed her neck. Married life was so wonderful, well until one of the students came banging on the door of the staff dorms screaming that some one set them selves on fire while she and her newly-wed husband were engaging in a romance session. "Morning." She murmured softly, scooting closer into his chest. "Glad you got to sleep in?" She asked.

"I'm always glad for a sleep in." he smiled, perhaps close to a purr if he was any more comfortable, and he was very comfortable. "But...." he started, before with one swift move of his arm pulling off their sheets, hand coming back down after tossing them away, to smack his wife on her firm booty. "Time to get up." he continued, jumping out of the bed himself. Gamma powered and ready to go he made his way towards the bathroom, first thing of every day, brush teeth! Even before putting on underpants.

Kendra curled up in a tighter ball. "Can't you just let me ease out of bed?" She felt the golden skin of her armor creeping up her neck, down her spine and around her shoulders. The woman shook her head and flailed a bit just for good measure of stretching and shaking the mutant armor away.
She sat up and looked around her night gown, which she'd always worn before she met Alex but had now taken to his habits. Darn that man.

"Ease out? Pfft, don't be silly." Sometimes the mutant power house that was Primarch forgot what it was like to not have a Gamma powered body, to be able to get up and just go into the day. He took a moment to brush his teeth before returning to their bedroom, straight into his chest of drawers to start getting dressed, some boxers here, a pair of socks there, jeans, T-shirt and he was good to go! "Now would you put something on, I have plans for today and your not all of them." he informed before making a tiger/cat claw gesture and sound effect.
He still thought he was lucky to have landed such a beautiful wife, they had a healthy relationship in every way. "You're such a lazy bones!" he laughed. "Want me to go put on some coffee? Help you wake up?" It didn't do much for him, but he liked the taste.

She nodded standing up and pulling the dressing gown over her head. She went into the bathroom and began brushing her teeth and turning on her straightener. If she wasn't living with all these high school kids and early 20's kids she'd have gone about with out make up for a bit first thing in the morning but alas she was living with all these kids, so she needed to look her best.
After she finished with her teeth she began on her hair, knowing that by the time she finished that and her make up the coffee would be ready.

Squeezing back into the bathroom for a moment, Alex took a moment to apply the final touches before leaving the room, putting on a bit of Old Spice and what not. The Irish gentlemen proceed to leave at that point, half walking and half floating his way down to the kitchen where he put on the joe. he returned a few minutes later, up to his room, Coffee, toast and some biscuits. A Fine brekky indeed.
"Does my little snookie-kins want toast or some biscuits with her coffee?" he asked, setting it down on a table where he wrote up notes and tapped away on his laptop. He knew how she liked her coffee, so he was able to take some initiative and get it set up.

Kendra walked out hair done and make up applied ready to go look or some clothing to wear when she heard him call her 'snookie-kins' she hated those damnable pet names. "If by biscuit you mean a cookie, then no, I'll just take the toast." She said lightly opening their shared closet. Oh how lovely it was to have a closet of her own, she loved it so much. First she picked out a pair of leggings then a long shirt to wear oh how cute she looked. She marveled at her figure for a moment in the mirror before walking over to down her coffee.

"Actually by biscuit I mean biscuit, I don't have any cookies." Ah the eternal war of words. Proper terminology vs American terminology. It was never ending, a harsh and brutal war. Either way, Alex set down the morning bits he had provided, taking up a biscuit with his coffee, since her ladyship appeared to have no interest in them.
"So what does poppet have planned for the day?" He had class to teach and what not, but would be free in the evening, as was generally the case, unless he had something going on with the music society or the kickboxing society.

"Probably just going to hang out around here, maybe go shopping for some home decor for our place." She really wanted to make their little suite seem more home like, and there was nothing more homey than expensive furnishings. And all those expensive shoes in the closet, but he didn't need to know about those until the credit card bill came at the end of the month. "What do you think, Red or Mustard for the curtains?" She mused sipping her coffee.

"Red, a heavy red. Keeps the light out better, for those mornings when I just don't need to be woken up by a sunbeam." That and he just really liked his bedroom dark when he pulled the curtains, preferred to sleep in total darkness then only partial. The Irish mutant took a sip from his coffee, dipping a biscuit into it to make it nice and warm and moist. He couldn't believe she called these cookies, cookies were a very particular type of biscuit! Damn her and her American ways!
"So where you going to get the money to buy these?" he asked, even though he already knew the answer as she didn't have a job and he did. But it was all a part of the routine, she mentioned she wanted to spend money, he asked where she was going to get the money, she'd replied with either puppy eyes or a joke, he asked for something, and all he'd get was receipts.

When he asked where she was going to get the money she knew the routine. She smirked. "There is this magic plastic card." She said setting down her coffee cup and making a rectangle shape with her thumbs and forefinger. "It pays for everything I want it to." She smiled at him kissing his cheek.
Picking up her cup of coffee again she sat down on his knee. "So your teaching all day?" Kendra really needed some friends, was it wrong to befriend the students?

By the time Kendra got to the words "I want it to" Alex was holding up his credit card. Mentally saying a grand farewell to his pay-cheque, oh they're time together had been far too brief. When she sat on his knee, he leaned back, wrapping one arm around her waist to pull her back into his chest before his other arm reached for his own coffee again.
"Til not long before dinner anyway." he replied, decent day of teaching ahead, plenty of lessons and lazy slack off hormonal teens eager students.

Kendra sighed. "Then what do you want for dinner darling?" She really wanted to make something he liked, but their kitchenette was so small, and if they used the big kitchen then all the students would want to eat the food she made.
She nuzzled her coffee cup against her lower lip, holding it warm against her hands. Married life was so sweet, so nice the only thing they really had to worry about was some anti mutant extremist causing trouble around the school grounds.

"I want........" he pondered it for a moment, biting his top lip before switching to his bottom lip, bobbing his head from side to side. "How about a sweet and sour? Chicken perhaps?" he was found of chicken. The Irish teacher took a sip from his cup, good old coffee, got yea started well in the morning.
