Alaska rubbed her sore back as she walked down the halls to the infirmary. A rigorous training session messed her up. Her knees were scraped along with her hands and there were bruises starting to form on her shins as well as her fore arms. Part of her wished that she had some healing factor right now. Alaska could just imagine the next morning, laying there until she summoned the strength to roll out of bed. Ah the price to pay to become a super hero. It would all work out in the end, Alaska believed that despite the world turning to hell now.
The tanned girl strolled into the very clean medical center and looked around curiously for someone to help her. It was no surprise that there wasn't anyone in there. Alaska walked over to the neatly organized counter and looked for some bandages and some asprin. Her fingers traced across the glass containers as she read out the names. "Cotton, alcohol swabs, bandages, tongue..." she murmured. Freyja took a bit of everything, well not the tongue depressors, and placed it on the counter so she could choose what to use first. To clean her minor scrapes, she wiped the swabs across her knees and elbows. A grimace formed on her soft features as she did, mostly at her stupidity on wearing only a work out tank and shorts to a training session. Alaska knew better than that.

"Hey Alaska, heard you got a few bumps in bruises, thought I'd come by to make sure you were okay." Adam informed, popping his head in through the door before letting the rest of him stroll in. He knew he always appreciated a little hand when he had gotten a nasty bump in the training sessions.
"So how you doing?" he asked, adorned in a simple t-shirt and jeans, not long out of the shower he was looking nicely fresh. He had been making the effort to take care of himself more now that Adele was born, he'd be heading over that night to give Marie a break and help her relax.

Her chocolate brown eyes darted up as she heard Adam's voice. She flashed him small smiled as she tossed the now dirtied swab in the trash. "Yeah thanks. I don't know what made me forget to wear my uniform. I guess I thought today was just running or something." she shrugged. Alaska appreciated Adam for asking her if she needed any help. She could have handled it herself, but it was always nice to ask.
"I'm good. What about you? You look pretty sharp. I've noticed you've been dressing better now. No more shirts with Cheetos stains on them." she joked. Alaska was only four years younger than Adam, but for some reason she didn't feel like a little kid around the older students. She could be mature, when she wanted to be.

"Yeah....I never understood where I got those stains....I don't even like cheetos." They just appeared.....out of nowhere. It was madness! "Ah we all get a bit bruised and stuff in training from time to time, even those of us who are made of tougher stuff, like himself and Colossus.
"I'm doing pretty good." he replied as he moved over, taking up a few of the things to help Alaska wrap up all her owwies. "So aside from the obvious, how did training go? Everything going well?" continued the young man.

"Magic huh? I can see that." she replied with a wry smile. Guys always had a magical way of forgetting how they soiled their clothing. Alaska grabbed a thick band aid and placed it over her raw skin on her elbow. It was a good thing she was already tan, being as it was nice weather outside, she'd hate to have to large pasty blocks on her skin.
"Me? Well I've been sick of school. Ready to start something knew. You know my birthday was a few weeks ago and I'm eighteen now. Legal to drink in most countries." she mused while she attended to her other elbow. "Maybe I'll ask someone to take the jet to England or somewhere." she said, hoping that he would take it as a joke or better yet seriously.

"You want to fly all the way to England just to have a drink?" he couldn't help but stifle a laugh. "Wouldn't it be easier to just try get someone to score you some alcohol? Its not that hard." there was always someone willing to buy you something to drink, especially if there was a few dollars in it for themselves. Hell, she was a pretty girl, she could just bat her eyelashes at someone.
The young man from Georgia took a seat, resting his weary legs. "But yeah, sometimes you just need to get away, for a long weekend or something. Easier said then done sometimes. Maybe you should try get a little posse together for a roadtrip?" Road trips were fun, especially when the final destination was some beach resort, yeah, that was a fun weekend.
