Sage had finally succeeded. The virus was complete- and it was something so potent that it would crash every one of NASA’s supercomputers in less than a second. As massive as the bases of the horsemen were, it would take a bit longer than that- enough for X-Force to raise some serious hell and draw out Famine for the ambush, and then kill her.
Sage had used Cerebro to find other mutants whose powers would help- that one Irish Hellion and then two members of the Brotherhood to go with three members of the X-Men and the entire X-Force. She had found ways to contact the first three to find out their interest in the mission- luckily, they all had agreed, and so the team was formed.
The plan was for Pixie to teleport the two of them plus Magma and Monet into the base. Sage would then get the virus into the computers while Magma and Monet caused some serious damage. Famine would come after them, and then they would teleport away- to Nova Roma to be specific, where they would join the waiting Wisdom and everyone else.
“Be ready. We’ll probably be back within five minutes or so.” She said to Pete. Please be careful. she added on, then looked over at Pixie and nodded.
“Let’s go.”

Pixie rubbed her crossed arms, looking away from the rest of the group. She didn’t really belong here. She wasn’t super strong or super smart or anything. No, she was just the best teleporter around- even better than Kurt. Line-of-Sight didn’t matter to her; she could teleport just about anywhere. And she was absolutely terrified- more scared than she had been in her entire life. Even more than that fight in DC or when Illyana took a bit of her soul…
She summoned her souldagger as Sage nodded to her, making her way over to the three members of X-Force that would be going with her. She could do this. She was no longer that weak little girl who had come to the mansion all those years ago.
“Let’s go.”
That was her cue.
“Sihal Novarum Chinoth!”
In a flash of pink light, the four disappeared, and reappeared into the middle of Famine’s base. Sage needed to give no orders once they arrived- they all knew what they were supposed to do. Raise hell.
(( OOC: Posting order is as follows until they leave the base and meet up with the rest of the team:
Sage Pixie Magma Monet NPC/Famine
You've got one day to post or else you will be skipped.))

Magma's head was completely focused on her mission, drawing Famine out of her protective base. To do that the lava mutant had to cause as much damage she could. A small smirk formed on her bright orange lips at the thought of unleashing all that she had on this mission. Before, for the safety of the others around her, Magma's main point was to be in control of her powers and to use them with safety. In this particular case- anything goes.
Her body was already consumed in hot lava, making her look even hotter than the Human Torch. With her long flaming hair and fiery eyes made her the most dangerous looking. Hopefully she would be able to scare a few of Famine's underlings without her powers, that way she'd save the juice for Famine herself.
Magma's concentration was broken by Sage's brief rally call and Pixie's teleportation spell. She never liked teleporting. It made her feel a bit sick, but it was handy in times like these. Without going on the inside first, Magma and Monet would have had to break into the lair and never be able to force Famine out. Battle strategies for Romans would have been so much simpler if they could teleport.
Just as the pink mist that they left in disappeared, Magma was standing in the middle of the base. Right where they were supposed to be. The woman smiled a bit to Pixie for getting them there. Now it was her turn. Magma clenched her fists and turned the heat of her body up triple what it was before. She was ready for whatever this Horseman had to throw at them.

The objective was simple. Bash and smash to catch famine's attention so that they could kill her and leave. Honestly, Monet was a bit peeved that they would only bring her along just to act as a brute, but it was to put a dent in Apocalypse's plans, so she wouldn't object. The sooner they rid the earth of En Sabah Nur, the better. She had missed vacationing in the Caribbean and Rio. No chance of that until the big A was gotten rid of.
Once they teleported into the base, Monet stood poised as usual and glanced over at Magma who seemed quite fired up (no pun intended...ok, maybe it was =p) to let hell loose. "Now or never I suppose." she said in a dry tone as raised her fist and began to plow into the walls of the base. "Hello? Ms. Famine, you have visitors. Tis very rude to keep us waiting! she called. It would be very much appreciated if you could come and greet us so that we may destroy you." She never was one to beat around the bush.

The moment they entered the pyramid, silent alarms were off. Famine was aware they had arrived, but guards arrived first. Not slaves either, real guards, the ones that joined Apocalypse out of a desire to further his cause, ones that were trained to kill and given weapons to suit. There was a dozen of them on the scene in moments, rifles the like Earth had never seen until Apocalypse arrived, very advanced and very dangerous. They never got to shoot however.
"No my warriors......allow me to deal with them personally." It was Famine herself, bony fingers bouncing against each other as she pondered how much she'd enjoy dealing with the attackers. "Nobody has ever made it into a pyramid before....it is commendable, but now I end you!" she informed before breaking into a cackle, leaping forward without warning while still laughing, skin dissolving hands aimed straight for pretty Monet.

Shit! One minute into the plan and it was already going to hell in a handbasket. Sage glanced over to Pixie, who still had her souldagger out and was holding it in front of her defensively. Monet and Magma could handle Famine- temporarily at least. Long enough for her to get into the computer, literally bringing the base down. A quick telepathic scan of one of the guards minds told her exactly where she needed to go. They needed to stick to the plan- as much as was possible now, at least.
Megan, I need you to teleport me here. She sent the message to the girl, who then nodded in assent.
“Sihal Novarum Chinoth!” Pixie cried out, while Famine dived at Monet.
The two appeared in the main control room and Sage dived towards the computer. She paused for just a precious second, impressed at the technology- this was much more advanced then anything on Earth, and she'd probably give her left arm to be able to have a real chance to have at the computer.
She put her hand against the computer, using her cyberpathy to directly access the computer... let's see how well this base could float without the technology keeping it up.

Commendable? Famine was calling her teleporting skills commendable ? Pixie didn’t know if she should take that as a compliment or not- it was Famine saying it, after all. She raised her souldagger up in a defensive position, eyeing the guards. Could she really take them? She had to be able to, she needed to be able to pull her weight and not be a burden to everyone..
Or she could just follow Sage’s orders and teleport her to the main computer thing. She looked over as the cyberpath had at the computer. She kept her souldagger up, looking around. There should be guards here...
“Something’s not right, Sage.” She said, taking a step back closer to the cyberpath. “Please hurry…”

Magma's red eyes darted from the guards to the bony woman. It was horrible to see a mutant like her be used as a Horsemen, possessed by some alien creature. Magma really wanted to aim some of the molten lava that she was famous for on some of the guards. However she waited to hear out what Famine had to say. It was the polite way to go, let the villain say her evil speech before kicking her ass.
But her little speech didn't last as long as Magma thought it would be. Right into the fighting, Famine dove for Monet. Magma was slightly pissed that Famine didn't go for her, but that would soon change. With a quick throw, she launched a large fire ball at Famine's side. That way it didn't hit Monet, but pushed Famine to the side. That was if it actually did some damage to the Horseman. Magma didn't know what to say when Pixie and Sage left them alone to fight other than - finally! Magma sprayed lava all over the guards and the walls behind them just like a fire hose.
"You okay Monet?" she called behind her.

"Oh...on second thought maybe you shouldn't have come out. Of course, Plastic surgery does do wonders these days." Monet commented on Famine's...face not even her own mother would love. The horseman was so ugly, she was pretty sure flies wouldn't even pester her.
>> "Nobody has ever made it into a pyramid before....it is commendable, but now I end you!"
To this, Monet rolled her eyes. Typical talk coming from the typical underling of the typical big bad boss. Monet merely raised an eyebrow as the Horseman had decided to go for her, but a large ball of flames and lava slammed into Famine, knocking her away. Monet turned back to Amara as the lava mutant asked if she was alright.
"That hideous creature in a costume that looks like it had just came off the clearance rack in K-mart just tried to touch me. Nightmare material at it's worse." Monet replied as she turned back to stare at Famine. "Indeed, it is sad to say that the seared skin look is an improvement. Tsk." she shook her head. She wanted to avoid Physical contact as much as possible so she opted for picking up an office desk sized chunk of debris from the wall she'd already smashed. Combined with her speed, the dark skinned woman flew over towards the horseman in what looked like a blur and smashed the piece of debris onto Famine's face.

With fire and lava going everywhere, things quickly descended into anarchy, most of the guards were rolling on the floor and screaming as they tried to get rid of the burning heat, what remained of them, charged at the assembled team, they had rifle's in hand, but there was something about the bayonet on the rifles, they were clearly designed to rend flesh in a painful manner, it wasn't until the sparks of electricity started to bounce from them that they're true danger was revealed.
Famine herself, was down against a wall, suddenly a massive chunk of debris was dropped on her, only the end of her limbs could be seen for a moment....with the anarchy going on, and the sound of more guards approaching, one would be forgiven if they didn't notice Famine almost move to hide under the debris, before lashing it up towards M with all of her might, just to distract the woman before one of her deadly hands reached up for her throat.
Meanwhile, in a different area, where Sage & Pixie had teleported to, a slight issue had arose, the great machines that made up the pyramid were made from alien technology, communicating with the machine was one thing, but communication that was understood was different. It would take time, maybe more time then they had. Meanwhile, behind the firewalls of the pyramid, something was preparing, a silent and deadly A.I.

Sage’s eyes widened. No, this was wrong- she couldn’t understand anything! She yanked her hand away from the computer with a slight hiss. That had never happened before- she’d always been able to understand… wait, it was alien technology. That was a gross underestimate on her part. She should have known, should have thought… Of course, it was possible for her to get around this. She placed her hand back on the computer. She’d just have to translate it into machine code, or binary. After all, it didn’t matter how complex the machine was- it still had to have some sort of basic programming language. It would take time to translate- perhaps more time than they had- but she could do it.
A twitch of her left hand brought up her own computer, with streams of binary scrolling across the screen and continuing down. Another wave of her hand brought up another screen with the virus on it, which she began translating into binary as well.
She turned her attention back to the main computer, biting her lip in concentration. She was Sage, she could do this.

Pixie took another step back closer to Sage, keeping her hand clenched around the souldagger. She frowned, hearing Sage hiss and then mutter something about computers and machine code and God knows what else... computer science was never really her strong suit, so she has no idea what the cyberpath was talking about.
But still... nothing came. No guards, nothing. It couldn't be this easy, something had to be coming. Something big.
"Please hurry." she repeated, biting her lip.
