Okay so they must be a bit off at the moment. Both had missed their shots, but just barely. The next shot set Scott up for an easy pot of the one he hit and missed last round. Next he wasn't sure what to go for next. He wasn't left with many good options to go for.
Eyeing up the balls for his next shot he decided he'd jsut have to try and set up himself for another easy shot like he did in the last round. Eyeing up a stripe, he aimed a shot at one of his balls and bounced it off the side, but it didn't go in to a pocket. "I can try to beat you. Who knows, I might get some good hots in"

This was the beauty of just playing for fun, even if there was a minor bet going on, it didn't matter who won or not. Had she wanted to, she probably could have run the table on him. Her head tilted to the side as she watched him take his shot and she grinned when he missed the second one. A brow went up when he said there was a chance he could beat her. ”Yes you could. There is as much luck involved as skill. I could also let you win.” She winked as she took her shot and sunk the next ball.
Blue eyes narrowed as she studied the table, she really really didn't want to have to wash the Blackbird. Carefully she leaned over the table and took her second shot, it sank into the pocket, but it didn't leave her open for another shot. So, she did the one thing any good pool player would, she did what she could and hoped that he couldn't get a shot off either. ”You're up. Down to the wire, there aren't many left....” It really could be anyone's game.

Scott's brow furrowed when she sank two more, he didn't like losing very much. Proffessor Xavier believed it was to do with his life before Xaviers and how he had always seemed to get the worst end of the stick. Now when it came to small sometimes insignificant things he had the great urge to control and beat them...it was something he was working on.
Scott aproached the table "No..this might come down to whoever is the first to get the black in." for a second he had a slightly confused look on his face followed by a slight embarrased look as he realised he'd just stated the obvious...wasn't that the point of the game? He lined up a shot, it was a hard one involving him having to bounce it off a side. He took it but missed the ball by a margin. Frowning he said "Okay...your shot"
