Magneto, now just short of sixty but walking like a man of forty, was making his way to a War Council he had called for. It was important to have them regularly, keep up to date on the events happening below. Apocalypse's army was.....well it was rather like Juggernaut, appeared impossible to stop once it had been given a chance to build up some momentum.
As he strode forward, a secretary of sorts handed him a dataslate, some of the most immediate to see data. Large silver doors opened before him, entering to his council room, a long table in the centre of the room, a hologram of the world floating at its middle, screens lined the walls, showing off different important zones on Earth, relaying tactical information, news broadcasts. Intelligence was key.
"I need a full status report at once, what has happened below? Any movement in the pyramid stations?" he asked, his voice as confident and powerful as ever. Finished with it, the dataslate floated away, his fists clenched and pressed into the table, eyes gazing out to the Brotherhood that had already arrived.

Five long years have passed and those five long years changed him completely. From all the hate and and disgust coming from the human population, so much so that they waged a war on the mutants. Hozuki had once questioned the acts of terrorism of Magneto and his mutants against the homosapians. Not anymore, after being saved by the Great Magneto while fighting to defend Genosha, he knew who to protect, his lord and the people around him, his fellow mutants. Since Magneto has returned, Hozuki did everything he could to have the leadership and tactical skills to help with his lord's vision.
With the declaration war by En Sabah Nur, the homosapians began to draft mutants to protect them. To stoop so low as to use what they wanted to rid of as a frontline defense against the pyramid, it was like sending cows to a slaughter. He made it a priority to help those mutant whatever way possible as long as it didn't get in the way of the Brotherhood. After all his loyalties belong to Magneto and his people.
He sat in a chair in the war council, wearing a sleeveless shirt, revealing his tattoos and scars, black jeans, and fingerless gloves with steel tips at the kncukles. His hand covering his mouth as he contemplated tactics so that they could do to destory those pyramids or something. He eye wander to the doors when Magneto entered the room. "The same, Milord. More sentiels and weapons created, more mutants being controlled and killed. And no weaknesses found yet." He said calmly.

A person can change a lot over 5 years and there was no better example than Rogue. Coincidentally, the situation she was in now, was precisely what she'd been trying to avoid over the past few years when she was at the institute. When Magneto turned on the professor, Rogue didn't like it one bit and was distraught at how he could do such a thing. Mr. Lensherr, or Erik as she actually called him by his first name now has always been a kind and helpful instructor. His rampage against the humans before? She disagreed with his methods, definitely but after seeing how they treated her and her mutant brethren, well, Rogue finally understood why Magneto did what he did. That explains why the former X-woman was now sitting in the Lord of Magnetism's Council room. Not planning the destruction of the human race, but on how to stop the mutant known as Apocalypse from taking over the entire globe.
Appearance wise, Rogue remained pretty much the same, of course she wasn't a teenager anymore and now, she has developed a full curvaceous figure. One that always remained covered due to her curse as she still called it. Currently, Rogue was dressed in her attire of black leather boots, body suit, a belt accented with a green buckle and a leather jacket, Her hands were covered with matching dark green gloves of course and her hair pulled back in a ponytail with a strand of her trade mark white streaked hair flowing loosely over her shoulder. She sat quietly cracking her knuckles. Her green eyes peered at the master of magnetism as he made his entrance and demanded a status report on the situation, to which her fellow Brotherhood member, Byakurai briefly delivered.
"What he said. This guy ain't showin no signs of goin down anytime soon. To be honest, ah'm startin t'wonder if there's anythang we can do. But everythang's got a weakness though...Ah know he's got one, we just haven't found it yet."

Pietro was sat in the big metal chair with the other Brotherhood members, he felt that he should get a more prominant position, denoting his importance...but speaking like that out loud wasn't the way to win himself any standing in the Brotherhood. He wore what he normally wore on a day to day basis, a dark black suit with an open collar black shirt. If this were the start of a mission he'd be wearing one of his aerodynamic suits...but those things were hardly the most fashionable of items.
When his father entered he felt himself stiffen and his heart beat faster then normal (which was already considerbly fast) the other Brotherhood members started rattling off reports about Apocolypse's large force. Looking down at the paper reports infront of him he chipped in with "the Hit and run attacks so far...whilst not crippling are slowing him down so far, as long as we continue hitting supply lines we could continue to make it harder for him to advance...but currently it's a little bit like a wasp stinging an Elephant"

"I agree with Quicksilver." Exodus joined in, sitting at the table, hands clasping each other just under his chin. "Our assaults have been quick and short scale, if we were to a more high risk, high reward approach we may cause more significant injury to his war machine. With careful planning we could reduce causalities to a minimum." Minimum being zero, but there was always the risk something would go wrong.
"Apocalypse's combat style has similarities to Hitler's Blitzkrieg, his sentinels break defences, infrastructure, weapon emplacements, scatter infantry and light armoured units, if Horsemen are present they cause dissarray and finally his infantry, both volunteer and slave regiments march in to clean up and head hunt important or powerful targets. If we could develop mobile and powerful EMP weapons, we may be able to heavily weaken his initial assault force, if at the risk of disarming local militant forces." It was his analysis of things, and had some valid thought behind it.

Immediately Lorna's electro-magnetic energies surfaced, coating her body and mind from outsiders. Being trained by the Master of Magnetism, it was only expected to maintain an enigmatic prowess, at least here, with the Brotherhood, new and old. How interesting that a borderline terrorist group had so many recruits, of all walks of life and backgrounds. Well, interesting or sad, Lorna had trouble deciding which more so aptly applied. " If his style is similar to that Austrian tyrant, then the answer is rather simple.," she replied, finally settling in where she fit; to the left of her father. " We use the Soviet battle doctrine; it seemed to crush that bumbling buffoon." Wishful thinking, nobody seemed to have the muscle to take on Apocalypse directly. No matter, it was something, and that counted, right? No, no it didn't. If Lorna did not contribute, she'd be letting Pietro or Wanda outdo her, and that was unacceptable. That in mind, the green-haired vixen's eyes closed as a sly smile spread across her lips. " Even a wasp can cripple an elephant. Though it may seem unlikely, where one hits is more significant than getting any hit. I suggest we stop attempting to penetrate the skin, and, like the wasp should have done in the beginning, enter through that pachyderm's ear, to the inside. Those floating battleships of his, what can be told about them?," she asked, honestly only expecting her father - possibly Exodus - to know. Anyone else, Lorna would be surprised.[/ul]

"As good as we could hope for then." That is, nothing radical or unexpected had happened. There was understandable worry from some of them, such worry was a good thing, it put that slight fire of desperation in the stomach, got one prepared to make decisions because they had too.
The Master of Magnetism gave his daughter a nod as she entered, listening to Exodus and then herself. It was nothing new, Magneto knew Apocalypse's battle plan, he had been using it long enough. Then Polaris brought up the battleships. "The tip of each...pyramid battleship appears to be composed of some sort of crystal, what material it is....I do not know." he informed, hands clasped behind his back as he started to walk around the table, glancing at each of his attending lieutenants as he did. "This....crystal we've seen has more raw power then a nuclear weapon. What appears to be plasma based weaponry dots the surface of the pyramid, hundreds of turrets if not thousands....they are escorted by Sentinels and of course, each one is home to one of Apocalypse's horsemen, bar the Pyramid in Egypt, the largest of the five, where Apocalypse himself resides."
He let the information sink in, gave it a moment. They should have known it all anyway. "Have they ever displayed shielding technology? No, has there ever been a reason to raise such a shield? No....should we assume they have such a shield? Of course! But this is all what we know! But, taking them down...how do we do it? An electromagnetic pulse? Could a massive electromagnetic pulse disable an entire pyramid? Perhaps. Could we teleport inside and strike from within? Come now my Brotherhood..." his patrol of the table stopped at the head he had been at originally. Fists pressed into the table as he leaned into it. "Byakurai....Rogue....Exodus....Quicksilver.....Polaris...you are my Brotherhood, the elite of mutantkind! If we cannot take it these pyramids down, vanquish our enemy the horsemen and bring low Apocalypse, all of mutant kind may be in jeopardy! Now give me something to work with!" He of course had plans, but he was an ageing man and wouldn't be around for ever.....unless that Isotope he had been working on proved useful. Regardless, they would have to lead this place when he was gone. Luckily it was a few decades at way, at best. "Quicksilver, Polaris...I'm looking at you."

Kimura had came in shortly after Exodus gave his report and stayed quit the whole time as the others talk she wanted to hear what they had to stay before she spoke up and gave her own thoughts on the subject. Once everyone was done she decided to jump in. “What if we sent someone in to join Apocalypse’s army either by choice or getting caught. Of course Exodus would have to be apart of it he would be needed to keep the persons mind from bring changed but at the same time make it look like it has been. Once inside one of the pyramids they find a computer and begin looking for blueprints, any type of weakness that could bring those bases down and take out the horsemen. Either copy it to a disk or have live feed right to Exodus.” she finished looking at Magneto with her arms crossed over her chest.
She was dressed in her stander body suit with the cleavage window she normally had different colored ones but had only been her black and red one. It matched the mood she’s been in for the last five years and didn’t see any point in changing it anytime soon for anyone. She looked over at Quicksilver, Polaris to see if they had anything better.

The lightning mutant sat, leaning onto the table with his eyes closed, listening intently to what they were all planning. It was all the same hit and run, cutting off supplies, but then there was Kimura's idea. It was way too dangerous for his taste. It was definately much harder to perform than say. Even the power of Exodus could be overwhelmed to that of En Sabah Dur. It was not that he was underestimating Exodus nor mocking her plan, it just seemed to dangerous.
The fact of the matter was, if they continued the hit and run they would just lose more and more, slowly but surely. They would have to overwhelm a pyramid one at a time, but that would be costly to the brotherhood and he didn't know if they really had the numbers to do so. He took a moment before speaking in case anyone else wanted to add something, then he finally spoke his mind.
"Magneto-sama, if the mutants of the world are of priority. Then why not join forces with the the X-men and Hellions? That way we have more strength. And there are still many mutants trapped on Genosha. I believe the X-men and Hellion will be able to shallow their pride and join us, with the added strength we can split our armies into teams to continue the hit and runs, cutting off supplies, etc. While attempting to free more mutants to join our cause. And if possible we can overwhelm their forces."
Like Kimura's plan, it was easier said then done. Of course he was just advising the others on a possible idea to do things. If they had any better ideas the could just as easily over rule his advice. He leaned back onto his chair with a short sigh. Waiting on the critism of the others. He looked to the possible hairs of the brotherhood first, since they were in the lime light the looked around at the others, the refocusing his attention back to Magneto.

Pietro felt suddenly under pressure to come up with ideas...he couldn't allow himself to by outshone by anyone, let alone one of the underlings of the Brotherhood. After all if he was to lead one day he had to be seen to be the best, most productive member of the Brotherhood. He listened carefully to the ideas on show, and decided to pipe in on Byakurai's idea.
"That idea is a possibility...but I don't think we should trust either of those groups to have the skills to back us up in some sort of attack...but we could make them believe we were aiding them in an attack, and whilst they distract one of hte pyrimids we attempt to infiltrate it"

," she began. " Byakurai has a point, about the X-Men and Hellions. I'd even go so far as to suggest other groups, resistance-based or outcasts, similar to the Morlocks, be sought to join us. Surely some of them wish to work together, but some would prefer to stick to their own. I say, regardless, we take advantage of that, and bring some of them to our side, even if only temporarily." Lorna glanced across the room, taking in the entire Brotherhood that had attended, then moved her pupils back towards the holographic globe. " Do this, and we succeed, our credibility rises. Xavier and that socialite won't know what to do, and we take the lead. Simply put, we'd be able to call the shots, and earn more investments and loyalties, which allows for more operations, due to us actually accomplishing something against Apocalypse." That wasn't good enough, but Polaris had to explain the process of getting from Point A to Point Z. That said, and with time for it to soak in, the Mistress of Magnetism resumed speaking, right after a sighing exhale. " What we do to earn this jumping lead is essential, and I must disagree with Kimura.," she said, quickly looking over to Exodus. " Though powerful as Exodus is, surely a being as intellectually and technologically advance as Apocalypse could sense, perhaps even trace, mutant power wave lengths. It'd be a trail of bread crumbs right back to us... and that cannot be good. Instead I propose we incite a riot, capture the attention of the elites under that tyrant's rule, and deal our blow then. Only I propose instead of a pyramid, we aim for something more within reason, such as a mobile outpost or isolated power generator. Surely they exist, as putting all contents inside a single pyramid is too great a risk, and for a man with the egotistical tendencies of Apocalypse, he'd do anything to protect being labeled as a man who put all his eggs in one basket." A mouthful, but it was worth saying. " It's a win-win situation... we get our credible point, and we take out the unwilling, as they'll respond to such a large scale crisis if Apocalypse's forces show up. After all, they are the good guys, and maybe if we're lucky, their numbers will dwindle and give us the majority." Send those who did not wish to cooperate with the Brotherhood to their death, leaving more in favor of unity, it was cold and savage, but it was a time of war and nobody knew ruthless like Lorna Lehnsherr.[/ul]

Rogue sat back and listened to what each of the others had to say. All of them were good plans. Particularly joining with the X-men and the Hellions. Desperate times called for desperate measures she guessed. Kimura's plan was good also, but Lorna also had a good point in that Apocalypse might be able to detect Exodus' powers. Still, she couldn't help but agree that a spy to retrieve information would be nice. But you don't really need a spy to get information, not when you have the Rogue on the team.
"If ah may make a suggestion with the risk of my sanity on the line..." she began. "This riot Lorna suggests would be a mighty good distraction. If we get lucky, we might get one of his top goons on the scene, maybe a Horseman and ah could get a chunk of his mind. Knowledge is power and if we get the knowledge behind his...well, you get it, don't yall?"

"Well Byakurai....it would appear you have come up with our next plan of action....impressive. Why don't you take command of this assignment. Polaris will assist you in the fine details of your plan. Rogue, perhaps you could serve as our ambassador to Charles School. I would, however, suggest against any missions towards Genosha, I can assure you, nobody was left behind. Any reports to the contrary, are fabricated." Magneto gave a glance towards Exodus, who had personally scanned the Island for mutants before departing, who had sent out the psionic beacon to get everyone to Hammer Bay before it was torn from the ground itself and raised into space.
"Do not let me down Byakurai. This meeting is over, although any of you who wish to volunteer for Byakurai's mission can stand behind to discuss it with him. I shall be available this evening if there is anything else that needs my attention, for now I have other areas that require my attention." With that Magneto took his leave, giving a nod towards Byakurai as he did, and to Polaris. Magneto had long been aware of Byakurai's ambition to be a field leader, now he had his opportunity.
