Post by Emma Frost on Jun 16, 2010 21:17:24 GMT
It was late at night and Emma woke with a jolt. The beeper that was pretty much linked to Xavier's fire alarm and such was going off. Curious she opened her mind and reared back with a jolt. "Oh my god..." she said in a small voice as she stumbled to the ground. .............................. Moments later Emma Frost was walking down the concrete steps of her Academy. She had on her 'hero' gear, the white cape flapping in the night air. She crossed her arms over her chest, sending out a telepathic message to the ones she needed. Students and staff. Wake up now and get into your battle clothing. The Xavier School for Mutants has been hit hard and they require immediate attention. We are setting aside our bickering to help our fellow mutants in this time of crisis. We will be going in teams. The fastest team will head out first, headed by Northstar. Those in his wake will be Stark and Slipstream. Stream I want you to take Tarot and Tamer with you. The next team will be comprised of muscle and will be lead by Primarch. In his team will be Shredder, X, Lifeguard, and Wolverine. You are to clear away the rubble and get the survivors out. The last team will be headed up by myself and Echo. It will consist of Shadowcat, Multiple, and Devastation. We will be in charge of collecting the survivors and bringing them aboard the shuttles. This is going to be a long night, be patient. Remember this is for the good of mutant kind.Resting her head in her hands, Emma heard the buses being pulled up. There were four of them. The flight crew would not need one, but the other two would, and the third was for more survivors, which she had no doubt there would be many. Biting her bottom look she looked in the direction of Xaviers. "Please Charles...be okay" she said under her breath.

Laura woke with a start as her head was invaded by Frost's cold voice. Listening to the message her face reflected her thoughts. Grim determination. Rolling out of bed she headed to her closet, pulling out her leathers. ____________________________ Stepping quietly onto the steps of the Academy Laura looked around as her eyes fell on the white cloth clad figure of her headmistress. She had a grim look on her face. It showed no emotion. She then saw four buses, assuming she was going to be in one she headed for it slowly, looking over her shoulder towards the Academy doors, waiting for the next to show. She wrapped her arms around her, trying to shield herself from the slight night chill. Looking out into the open she slid one of her claws, watching it shine in the moonlight.

Man o man what a serious of events that had taken place in the recent past. Almost made a guy want to leave for a more peaceful place. Just early he’d been out trying to enjoy the warm sun when a rogue mutant went on a rampage complaining about the condition in which his kind were being treated. And wouldn’t you know it, Davis was the only one around willing to putting an end to it. After a quick tussle he kicked the mutant into a portal which opened up right in front of a prison for the guards to take care of.
That was one hell of a way to spend your day. At this current moment, Davis laid in his bed staring at the ceiling. He was thinking about just random things, letting his mind wander since he couldn’t fall asleep right now. The crickets chirping outside of his windowless shack were rather soothing, but he just wasn’t sleepy. His thoughts were interrupted by the voice of his old teacher, Emma Frost. He listened closely to what she had to say with a slight frown. Davis looked down at the head that was resting on his bare chest. Brushing the hair from her face, he kissed her forehead.
He rubbed her shoulder to get her to wake. She stirred, then looked up at him sliding her head to a pillow. ”Sorry babe,” he said while sitting up. ”Me friends need me. Just got an urgent message from me old teach.” She nodded in understanding as he slipped his boxers and jeans back on before putting on an old black hoodie not bothering with a shirt. Davis leaned in and kissed her soft, dark skinned cheek. ”Be back soon.” A portal opened and he stepped inside.
A second later, Davis was no longer in Australia, but Boston. He stepped from the blue portal several feet to the left of Laura. He nodded to her in greeting with a smile.

Post by Jean Paul Beaubier on Jun 17, 2010 5:59:25 GMT
Jean-Paul had been in the middle of a particularly hot encounter with a cute trick he picked up from this gay club in down town Boston when the cold voice of Emma Frost cut through his own thoughts. "Mon Dieu" he cursed to himself as he untangled himself from the muscular body of the man beneath him. As he heard the rest of the message a chill ran through his body. Although there was no real love loss between the Hellions and the X-men there was one person in particular that Jean-Paul's thoughts returned to time and time again. In mere seconds he was fully clothed and kissed his one night stand on the cheek before speeding out the door.
He quickly ran through the city his superhuman speed carrying him through the streets of Boston. As he ran between high speed cars his mind raced with thoughts of what was happening at the Xavier institute. He wondered what was powerful enough to even attack the X-men. Before he made his way to the steps of the school he saw first the all white figure of Emma and then the steely gaze of Laura Kinney. Her presence was cold as always, something about the girl always unnerved Beaubier but he also found her intriguing. As he skid to a halt just before the gravel stairs of the Academy he gave Frost a look of sheer discontent.
"Thisbetterbelifeordeathfrost.Iwasinthemiddleof... something"
He finished speedily his words rushing together as his mind tried to slow down with the rest of his body.

Tony was sat at the desk in his dorm, his eyes protected by dark goggles he sat using a high powered soldering iron to fuse some expensive vibranium wires in to his experimental energy source. He was hoping that the material would be strong enough to carry the energy through the machine with out shorting out. It was his last and most expensive option but he had high hopes.
It was then that he heard the voice in his head. THat was still very weird...he didn't like psychics, they knew too much. Made it hard to keep secrets and he wouldn't be surprised if Frost already knew of his plans to create a suit...if he could get the stupid Arc Reactor working. Getting up he put on a leather jacket, expecting it to be cold out there. For the moment all he was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black tank top and a pair of sneakers...now with the addition of a leather jacket. He had forgotten to remove the goggles from his head though and instead he chose to sit them on his forehead.
He found his way to the steps where everyone else was. "Buses? are those buses for us? really? I heard those X-men have a plane...a freaking plane, we get buses?...If they hadn't just had bad stuf happen to them I'd question if I was on the right team"

It had been a long night. Marie-Ange was pacing in her room, bouncing Adele gently as she cried. She had been up most of the night, crying. She would calm down for a bit, then just start right back up again only a few minutes later. Marie-Ange had no idea what was wrong with her daughter. Her nappy was clean, she didn't want a bottle, and she didn't have a fever or anything...
"Shh, shh... Mère's here..." she cooed, patting her back. "Don't cry..."
She sat down on the edge of her bed, shifting Adele's weight around. "Please stop crying, Adele... "
She paused, tilting her head to the side as the telepathic voice of Miss Frost rang through her head.
Xavier School for Mutants has been hit hard and they require immediate attention...
Anything after that was lost on her. Xavier's... hit hard... immediate attention. Oh God, no. No, no, no no no no! Adam!!! Not Adam, no!!! He had to be okay!!!
Marie-Ange looked down at Adele, who had miraculously stopped crying... but for some reason, her cheeks were still wet. Why was that? Another tear dripped onto Adele's cheek. Oh, that's why... she was the one who was crying now.
She put Adele down into her crib, quickly stripping out of her pajamas and into her Hellion uniform. It was a bit tight in the chest area, but she didn't care about that. She picked Adele back up and hugged her daughter to her chest.
Please, God, let Adam be alright....
She left Adele with Jubilee. She didn't even need to go to her room- Jubes had shown up at the door just as she was walking out to go find someone who would watch her.
She raced through the mansion, throwing open the main doors and then half running, half jumping down the stairs. Did she still have tears running down her face? She didn't even know. Nor did she care. All she knew was that she needed to go to Xavier's. Now.

Devastation awoke with a start, hearing Emma's voice in her head. She hit her husband beside her. "Alex! Get up we're needed." She knew in the back of her mind that he'd heard Emma and was probably being a it quicker about responding but it was human reflex that made her draw back tap her husband to get his attention.
Sliding her legs out of the blankets she didn't even bother clothing her naked form she just let the armor craw over her skin and into her hair until she became Devastation. "Let's get going Primarch, We don't have all night." She said striding for the door with all golden legs lifting her form off of the ground.

," she snapped, already intoxicated with fatigue due to intensive studying. Heather's eyes felt like rusted weights, heavy and overused. " Set me up with the rough necks, eh? Well, they do seem the most sensible... all right, let's do it!" Heather wasn't talking to anyone, just herself. It sucked being the loner of the loners, but you made due and did the best you could. Like now, she'd at least attempt to brighten the Hellion name. ... Finally, Lifeguard had arrived. Decked out with a concentrated scowl and trademark headband, she approached and listened to those already gathering. Immediately, the buses were seen, and a remark shot out: " At the risk of insubordinate disrespect, I must ask... how exactly will these buses hold up against... well, you know, whatever tore apart the X-Mansion?" Surely others wanted to know, so Heather asked. Hell, she wanted to know what a yellow metallic twinkie could do...[/ul]

Logan was the next to arrive with the group assembled to go on a rescue mission to the X-mansion, just wearing his casuals, there was no time for his uniform. Jeans, a t-shirt and his slip on boots would have to do. He was sure the X-men would understand if he didn't go through proper Hellion dress procedure for the purpose of saving time. "Davis....perfect. We won't even need the buses." Wolverine had planned on riding his bike there, it would have let him get on the scene before the rest and do what he could, but teleporting was faster then any bus he knew about.

Post by Skein on Jun 28, 2010 17:32:08 GMT
On this night, this glorious night that Sybil had been looking forward to all week, the Romanian woman would finally get the sleep that she so clearly needed. All week she had had problems in New York, requiring her to use her wings to fly all the way back to the Big Apple. But yesterday, the people who had been robbing her had been caught and taken care of properly. So this night would be her night, with relaxation candles, a nature sounds player, and super comfy new sheets she had purchased recently.
After only a few hours, however, her beautiful night had been interrupted. The psychic message was smack dab in the middle of a deep sleep period, leaving Sybil grumpy and annoyed with the first few words that her leader spoke. However, as her message drug on, the woman equipped herself with the necessary ass-kicking materials speedily and headed to the front porch. After all, with no competition, the Academy would have nobody to be superior to.
Being that her powers weren't the most useful for damage control, Skein was stuck with the losers finding survivors. She had to repeatedly tell herself that it was not going to be horrible. During all of this, a few of the students and a couple of Hellions were complaining about the buses. As annoying as they were, they were right; by the time the people who couldn't get there in less than a minute got there, it might have been too late. "Emma, as annoying as their complaining may be, they're right. By the time these yellow pieces of crap get to Salem Center, those pitiful X-geeks will probably be dead. Are you sure there's no other way?"
