It was late at night when he came. Most everyone in the mansion was asleep and unsuspecting of what would happen in only a few short moments…
Apocalypse had finally had enough of the X-Men. They had organized that attack after all, that had killed his first Famine. But no matter, he won that fight, little did the X-Men know. Despite what they had lost, they still had counted that fight as a victory.
What naive fools. Apocalypse never lost. He always came out on top. Always.
He floated over the school, silent and deadly. It was easy for him to bypass the security measures- he had learned everything about their cyberpath the second she had hacked into Famine’s base. Anything she had set up would be easy to get around. Shielding his mind and cloaking his presence from other telepaths in the Institute? Child’s play. Anything other security measures? Not even worth mentioning.
No one could stop him now.
He smirked, and then floated away from Xavier's. His smirk only grew wider as he heard an explosion coming from behind him, but he didn’t bother to turn around and look.
Big A has left the building.
The attack had obliterated the kitchen and the dining room and a couple surrounding rooms. Damage was widespread throughout the rest of the institute. It was on fire- anything that hadn't been damaged in the explosion would soon be consumed by flames.
Xavier's had been just about destroyed.

"Sihal Novarum Chinoth!!!!"
In a flash of pink light, Pixie appeared in the middle of the grounds. She collapsed to the ground, landing heavily on her hands and knees and panting heavily as she looked up at the burning building.
No..... this wasn't possible! How could this happen? Why would anyone do something like this?
She had been asleep, sprawled across her bed. The noise of the explosion had startled her awake. She sprung out of bed and threw open her bedroom door to see what had happened to see fire. Lots and lots of fire. She fell to the floor with a scream and scrambled backwards away from the fire, still screaming. She hit her bed and still tried to scramble backwards for a second before she finally remembered that she could teleport.
Still breathing heavily, she looked up at her burning home. God, she hoped everyone was okay...

Kitten was in her bed during the explosion suddenly was woken up by some alarms and her eyes opened. She smell smoke and her eyes opened " oh my god...." she then rushed to her window and suddenly stared down knowing she won't be able to get out her because how close the fire was. She then opened the window and sudden leaped out of the window without thinking twice and attempted to position herself to land all fours

It wasn't just alarms that started Kurt Wagner awake. It was the feeling that the walls around him were starting to crumble. They did as he woke, the thunder of the impact rumbling through the floor as he started awake and BAMFed on instict. His bare feet landed on the cushioned grass; his sulfuric gaze wide as he saw the damage crushing upon the place he called home. "Mein Gott! (My God!)" he proclaimed as he didn't think much more on the cause but rather frantically teleporting about to fetch students. "I'm coming," he murmured as he moved through the building the best he could to pull some of the children from the wreckage.
It wasn't until he was in one of the student dorms that he heard an ominous crack and one of the support beams gave way; the ceiling following its lead. "No!" he howled as he pushed the student out of the way and found himself pinned under the wreckage. He bellowed out in pain as he couldn't find himself able to pull himself out.
