WORDS I THOUGHT I'D CHOKE ON • figure out i'm not so with you anymore i'm a ghost •SO I CAN'T HURT YOU ANYMORERileys deep brown eyes scanned the bare walls of the Massachusetts academy room. Her room at Xaviers had been a little more colorful, with magazine cutouts and band posters, even sticking up those business cards of places she liked in New York. But that was all gone now. She hadn't expected her mom and stepdad to move because the school had gotten torched, they had already moved to NY because of her and her condition. Hopefully Massachusetts would only be a temporary move for the students.
The door was ajar when she got the call from her agent, the teen shuffled across the room to the desk and caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. That was one nasty gash on her face, if it scarred well... that would be the end of her modeling career. Her fingers faded out a little as she picked up the cell, it was shallow... but she was angry.
"Just leave me alone!" She yelled as she watched the cell slowly disappear in her hand and thew it hard into the wall. Her lithe body collapsing in a heap on the bed, as her powers started to act of their own accord.

The Massachusetts Academy was certainly different to his old digs back at Xavier’s; or rather what they had been before it was practically blown to smithereens. The entire building seemed to radiate an air of uptight formality that didn’t sit well with Jono, reminding him all too much of how it was growing up back home with his family in London. Needless to say he’d been uneasy since the moment he’d crossed the threshold, and very little he’d seen since had allowed to feeling to abate, admittedly it was more than partly enhanced by recent events and the destruction of his home. In an attempt to dissuade it however he’d taken to spending much of his time in the company of his band mates, such as he’d just been doing so mere minutes previously, even if it brought him into area of the Girl’s dorm more than the British teen would normally like.
A yell followed by a muffled thump from the room to his left caught his attention as he passed along the corridor on his way back. A glance through the gap created by the slightly open door gave him a clear view at a partially invisible teen sprawled out across a bed. A quick search of his memory identified the girl as Ghost, one of his fellow students from Xavier’s... or what was Xavier’s ... He wasn’t exactly sure what was going to happen to the place now, if it would even continue to exist at all.
‘You alrite, luv?’[/color] He asked in his usual telepathic manner while rubbing the lower left side of his face mask absently and cautiously pushing his way into the room slightly, throwing out that question despite knowing full well the answer it’d bring. It didn’t take a genius after all, but it was an opening line that just seemed obligatory in situations like this. Certainly beat a witty remark about a wrong number or something of that vein, although it probably would have gone down better in hindsight.
