Davis Cameron had gotten tired a long time ago with the Mass Academy people to be honest. What were they doing right now? Probably nothing but chilling while the world went to Hell. He himself wasn't innocent either for he'd been sitting on his ass thinking instead of taking immediate action. But that was going to change today. With so many “experiments” of that Apocalypse running around, there'd be plenty of things to smash up. Instead of lounging around at the Academy or avoiding the issue altogether, Davis took upon himself to combat some of the creatures roaming around terrorizing people.
All day the Aussie had been warping around the world trying to save people from death and destruction. He'd transported groups to safe havens and did battle with a few experiments that he ran across. It was not enough, but for now it would help out. ”Dammit!” Davis pushed himself off the hood off a car slowly. He stood holding his lower back grunting a bit from having just been knocked through the air like some rag doll. Standing across from him was a mutant that had suffered at the hands of Apocalypse. Davis could sympathize, but this guy had to be taken down right now. A blast of concussive energy head towards him quickly. He dove to the side just in time, the blast kicked the car over onto its side.
”Sometimes it sucks being just a teleporter.” he uttered to himself while avoiding another attack.

While running some errands, Claire sighed feeling a bit sad at the devastation of her home. Her belongings all gone, her memories. Everything she held dear to her heart was gone. All she had left were the wounds that reminded her of the attack on the mansion. Brushing back a strand of hair Claire sighed as she walked along. She remembered saving Cori, but her memory was still blank as how she got out of the mansion. She was told that Emma's Hellions rescued everyone and that they were all welcome to stay at the Academy. Just to Claire, she didn't feel quite welcome there. She wasn't sure what it was, it was just she felt alone in the place that was now to be her new home. A soft breeze blew as she walked down the streets, caring a bag of groceries and some clothes for people. As she walked down the street she looked up and saw a familiar face. Her head, arms and legs, still wounded a bit as they were still wrapped up in bandages, "Why Hello Davis." She stated standing next to the car he layed on.

Man this dude was really trying to put an end to the Aussie! What the hell did he ever do to the guy?! Okay so maybe he had showed up to stop his little funtime crushing people, but come on... it was wrong. Davis dove to his left to avoid yet another attack. That's when he was greeted by a oddly calm voice that disturbed the hell out of him. Davis looked up to see the girl that'd he met awhile back. What was her name? Claire! For a second he wondered what the hell she was doing all the way in Boston since he'd met her in New York. Then he remembered that she was an X-Man and their school was burned down.
Now they were bumming it at the Academy. He looked at her for a second with a confused and somewhat agitated expression. "The hell you doin just standing there!" I mean really.... a hello during a situation like this? Not even an offer to help? Davis vanished then reappeared behind the guy, placing him in a chokehold. Hopefully he'd be able to hold the big brute to keep him focused on no one but Davis.

Claire didn't realize that another mutant was there, she saw the man trying to take down Davis. She needed to help him somehow. Putting her stuff down she could sense a nearby falcon perched up on one of the buildings, Would you mind helping me for a second, dear friend? The falcon cawed in acceptance as it swooped down towards the mutant that was attacking Davis. She hoped to scare this guy off but knew that wouldn't be the case. As the falcon swooped down its talons pointed at the man's head, gripping tightly onto the man's head to hopefully let Davis go.

The mutant thrashed around violently trying to get out of the chokehold that Davis had him in. The kid wasn't the most muscular but he had a good grip on the man, not about to let go any time soon. That's when he heard the sound of the falcon. Both he and the mutant looked up to see the majestic creature swoop down with its talons extended. It clawed at the mutant's head for a moment as he thrashed around. Before long he grabbed the creature by its neck and gave a mighty squeeze while releasing a blast of concussive energy that knocked its body off.
Davis grimaced a little as the bird's blood splattered onto his forehead. "Alright....that was gross." No doubt Claire would be hurt watching a creature be killed in such a way. Davis warped away with the man still in tow. A second later he reappeared twenty feet in the air. He released the mutant from the chokehold and watched him plummet to the ground, crashing onto the roof of a car. The drop wouldn't kill him, but it should hurt like hell. Davis himself warped back to the ground, landing on his feet. He lookod at the bird's severed head then Claire. "Damn..."

Watching Davis fight she saw the falcon get killed in front of her. Looking away tears starting to roll down her eyes. The pain of the the bird being killed in front of her. Her heart ached at the sight of it. Looking at Davis she frown trying to hold back her tears of sadness. That was horrible. I...can barely look. She clenched her heart trying to be brave in front of him.

Davis looked toward the mutant that had slammed into the top of the car, caving in its roof. The guy was out like a light thank God. So that would take care of that little problem. Now all he had to worry about was porting him to some place where he wouldn't do damage to others. Davis thought about the classic spot at the top of Mt. Everest, but the extreme temperature might end up killing the poor mutant. He didn't want that hanging on his conscience. He turned his attention to the crying girl before him. He hated seeing women cry, it really bummed him out. ”Ah come on now, don't cry.” He heard the stirring coming from the denting roof.
Davis held up a finger before porting over the guy, grabbing his body, and then porting him to the remote Sahara. He then warped back to his original position in front of Claire. ”Sorry bout ya mate.” That was pretty much all he could say really. A small bird trying to take on such a large mutant was a bad idea from the get go. But he wouldn't say that aloud.

Claire stopped crying as she looked at Davis. She could hear the sincereness in his voice, seeing that he hated seeing her cry. Whenever an animal died in front of her she always broke down. It was like a part of her had died with the animal. She wanted to help him in the battle and she was a fool for endangering the falcon's life. She should have known better. Looking at Davis as she wiped her tears away, I'm sorry. It's just when an animal dies its like a part of me goes with the animal. I was a fool. She stated as she looked down. Not feeling as she deserved to be called an X-men for her weakness.
