Commendable- Adjective. To represent as worthy, qualified, or desirable; recommend. To express approval of; praise.
Megan was kinda proud that Famine herself had called her skills commendable. She was no longer that little pink girl with wings! Well, she still was, but now she had awesome teleporting skills and magic, and as much as she hated it sometimes, a souldagger that was really good to have during a fight.
Although, that touch of pride came with a bit of fear. It was freaking Famine! Apocalypse's Horseman thingie. And with what happened to Bobby... Sage had said that it wasn't her fault that it had happened- that it was her own fault, that if anyone was to blame she was. That she should have known, should have done this, should have done that...
Her words had made Megan feel a bit better, and logically, she knew that it wasn't her fault. But, she still couldn't shake the feeling that she had failed in the only job that she had been assigned that day: to teleport them there and back.
She yawned and rolled over in her bed, trying to snuggle under her covers. It was awfully cold in her room... but there were no covers. There wasn't even a bed.
Megan's breath caught in her throat and she pushed herself upright, her souldagger appearing in her hand in one smooth motion. No! Illyana had done it again! She had been kidnapped, and now was surely going to have the rest of her soul taken from her and put into one of those awful bloodstones.
No, she wouldn't let that happen! Not this time. Never, ever again. She gripped the souldagger tighter, her eyes narrowing. She'd kill Illyana before she'd let her get another piece of her soul.
