Laura should have known that the psychic jerk would strike at her, but the diamond skin had caught her off-guard. The change but similarity of a persons scent changing was enough of a distraction for her to be hit, and had to take the fall to avoid striking at the person. Smart woman had positioned herself enough in a crowd to where they would have been a 90% chance of severely injuring a bystander with an attack at her assailant. The last thing she remembered was that finger touching her forehead.
When she awoke in a very strange room her automatic reaction was to try to move. Unfortunately this didn't seem an option. She was bound to a table by her upper arms, below her elbows, by her wrists, her upper chest, her waist, her upper and lower legs and ankles. The true issue with freeing herself was the magnetic force keeping her feet and hands stuck to the table.
A snarl tore from her throat, her eyes scanning the empty room angrily. Clearly it was a medical room, a small one at that, the table she was lying on was a chilled metal one, almost like a surgical table. Her nostrils flared and her eyes narrowed, catching the scent of the woman in the next room. It was the person from the park.
((Had permissions, description given from Emma. Room is a small room attached to Emma's office.))

Emma was in her office waiting for Logan to enter. She had called him a bit ago and was now pondering on how to break the news to him. She couldn't very well bust open her lab door and present his sister to him.
She had done a psychic surgery to the girl. And she had a extreme past. Tests and such done to her over and over. How she lived through it amazed even Emma. She hadn't seen or heard from her family in six years. And she was only a little girl. And she harvested so much anger. Anger that could be resorted to control and a extreme weapon.
Emma shook her head rubbing one temple slightly as she hears a shuffle outside her door. She made her way over and opened the door, seeing Logan there.
'Ah,Logan." she said with a smile on her face.

Logan had been walking the halls after class, another regular day at the Academy. On his way back to his room, his nose picked up a scent, something he hadn't smelled in a long time....a long time. He couldn't even place it at first, he just knew that it was familiar.
He gave another sniff, nose up in the air as he continued to sniff. Eventually he knew where he was going, following the trail until it brought him to a room next to Ms. Frosts office. He knocked immediately.
Ah, Logan.
He didn't even respond, just worked on picking up the familiar scent, the one that was almost covered over by Emma's overbearing perfume. He looked straight passed her....spotting....Laura?
"Laura!" he yelled, moving a hand out to push Emma aside, he moved over to the person on the table....it was Laura alright. A bone claw tore out from his right hand, two quick motions later he had cut away most of the restraints, although he was unaware of the more advanced restraint. "What's goin' on?" the Canadian youth turned, barking his question at Emma.

Emma smiled, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned in the doorway of her small examination room. "Logan, how nice to see you. I was about to call you. I met your charming little sister in Central Park today. Proposed a recruitment for her to join the Academy. She attacked me" Emma said her voice dripping with poison at the last word. "No hiding her claws. She threw them out in the park for everyone to see. I had to knock her out and bring her here. It was the safest way. She has your temper James. She had better learn to control it as you have. If she wants to live longer in this mutant hating world she had better control herself." Emma said raising an eyebrow and locking her cold blue eyes on Laura.
She walked over to the two and lightly put her hand on Lauras head, petting it lovingly as if it were her child. "Poor poor girl. She was crying for you Logan. She misses you so much. She feels so lost without you." Emma took her hand off Laura's head and turned to Logan. "For her own good Logan", she said as she placed a hand on his arm "she should stay here. She has no place to call 'home'. She loves you and misses you. Have her stay here. I would have no qualms about it" Emma said looking at Logan.

Laura heard her voice, this time speaking aloud to someone else. Logan? Her attention turned over to the man at the door and her struggling ceased due to the pure surprise. Sure he was older than the last time she'd seen him, but there was no doubt in her mind that this was James. "James, help!" The scent of blood accompanied by the sight of a bone claw sealed the deal for her, no possible form of doubt could worm its way into the situation. At least those bindings were now gone.
The woman, however, spoke up before she could explain herself. Manipulative, clearly, her words wove a web to spin the situation in her own ideal way. But she hadn't been lying, she had her brother. It would probably be the only way to get Laura to stay in the room and not rip her to shreds. Sitting up wasn't an easy task with her hands and feet still pinned to the table, but she was able to adjust enough to sit up, though she was forcibly curved forward. "Turn off the magnetic pulses." She kept the tone as calm as she could manage it, though clearly her fury was seeping through, her eyes showing her rage as she glared at the woman.
The tyrranical little speech continued as Emma walked over and placed her hand on her head, as if the woman felt some semblance of emotion towards her. Her statements weren't entirely incorrect, because Laura had cried in the past. She cried often during the first couple years.
"James... keep her out of my head..."

"Shut up and turn off the damn magnetics!" Logan spat at Emma, whether she was headmistress or not, this was Logan's babysister, whom he hadn't seen in six years, and she was in some kind of discomfort, he wasn't sure what the magnetic pulses were doing, but she wanted them off, and that meant he wanted them off.
The young Canadian man didn't reply to Emma, wasn't paying her much attention, he knew she didn't like to be so blatantly ignored, but that wasn't even crossing his mind. His claws went back into his arms, and he reached down, putting an arm under Laura's head to cradle her head and shoulders in his arm. "Laura....I got yea......I got yea."

Emma mentally gritted her teeth against Logan ordering her. She walked over to the other side of the table and flipped a switch underneath. The releases were off and Laura was able to move. "You are not in the right to order me around James. Your sister attacked me and I was merely protecting my self. She should be grateful. Offering her a place here. Telling her I knew where you were. It seems I've helped out two Howlett's. With nothing to show for it" Emma said as she walked over to a small screen and input a few data details into it.
She turned her head as Logan started comforting his sister. Emma was slightly moved, though she would not say aloud. My god, he looks like Christian comforting me after homecoming. Oh Christian...why did I lose you to Adrienne? Why did you let her get to you? Emma screamed inside her own head. Her outside features held so much contempt against this girl.
"I know you don't what to hear this Logan, but this is the safest place for her. To be close to you. That's all she's wanted for the past six years. I won't however be harvesting a wile little creature just to have her tear me to shreds the minute I turn my back" Emma said, her eyes narrowing on Laura.

She couldn't help but smirk slightly at the fact that James snapped ordered at the mind-witch and she obeyed. It probably wasn't something the woman would normally do, but her little web was more complicated than it let on. Laura knew that in a heartbeat her brother would believe her when she said that she didn't attack the woman. It was the truth after all, and Laura had never been decietful when this woman clearly was by nature.
The moment the magnetics were flipped off, Laura moved around to give her brother a hug, her arms wrapping around his shoulders, her face resting against his chest. It'd been a hard few years all working towards this goal. Sidetracks and all, it actually made her feel like crying over the fact that it had finally happened, she'd found him and it wasn't some trick.
Why does she keep calling him Logan? The woman obviously knew his name was James, since she'd said it earlier as well.... so Laura simply didn't understand why she was calling him Logan. Releasing her brother, Laura stood up and faced Emma, lingering anger on her features. "Since you delved into my mind, you should know there's no real safe place for me. And since we both know what actually happened, you should have a reason to worry about that."
Taking a short breath in, she glanced back at James then continued. "But since you kept your end up, Witch, your manipulative plan worked. You can have your weapon for as long as Logan stays here, and I won't bite back." Probably for James' sake more than Emma's since the woman likely knew about the adamantium, she raised her hand and let her claws flick out. "Happy now?"

Emma raised an eye slightly at Laura's acceptance. Her lips formed a winning smile. "Ooo, the kit has claws.Thrilled actually. And dear, there is a safe place. Everyone has one. You underestimate my power by my appearance. You'll learn young one. You'll learn." she said, keeping complete eye contact with the girl. Emma turned to Logan. "James, I'm placing her under your control. If she ruins anything, it goes on your shoulders. You signed the documents. You know the consequences." she said as she headed for the doorway. She stopped herself, placing her left hand on the entrance and turned back. "I'll let you two catch up. I know you need it. " she said smiling confidently as she turned out the door and was down the hall within minutes.

Logan stood where he was, watching as Laura and Emma had their exchange, listening as Emma told Logan that Laura could stay, but would be under his control. That was fine, he had no problems taking care of her. He would have brought little Laura with him when he left, but he knew she'd have been safer at home, a life on the run was no life for her.
An eye brow of surprise raised on his head when her claws came out, the shine of metal caught him off guard. Looked like she got the sports package to his basic cable. When Emma left, he wasn't sure what to say, what do you say to your sister after this long? The Canadian youth walked up behind her, just placing a hand on her shoulder.

She still didnt like the woman, but their symbiotic relationship would work for now, so long as they could start to be civil around each other. That would be dependant on Emma and her actions from here on out. Starting off with kidnapping wasn't exactly a positive for her. But, at least she turned and left after having her speeched exit.
She left her claws out until Emma was gone, and only let them slide back in her hands once she felt the larger hand of her brother on her shoulder. What did she say to him now? There was no pretending that she didn't worry about this. About if he would dislike who she was now, because she was different than she used to be.
Taking a short breath in, she opened her mouth, the first question of what would be many spilling from her. "Where did you go after leaving home?" She had tried to picture all of the places he might've gone, the different possible routes she could take to follow him. The chance at knowing the truth...

"I moved around a lot, didn't stay anywhere long. Didn't want to get noticed and arrested for murder after I stabbed Tom." he had made a dramatic leave from the house to say the least. "Started tellin' people my name was Logan. Probably wasn't the best name to choose, people lookin for a James Howlett who stabbed and killed Tom Logan, and a Logan Howlett walks into town, but I couldn't get the name out of my head." He knew she probably had a hundred and one questions, so he was just to let her ask away, then he had a few of his own.

Laura listened intently as he explained what had happened, it really made sense for why she wasn't able to find him. Most likely he was long gone even by the time she was nearing the next town. "Hm. that makes sense then, for why she was calling you that name."
Now that her main question was answered she felt as if, with all the words spinning around in her brain, that she couldn't decide what to ask. That's all she needed to know. The rest of this was pure curiosity. But... it could be allowed. He was her big brother after all. Taking a short breath in, the next question came to her in the form of smelling that overbearing purfume. "How did you get involved with that.... that she-devil? She asked, casting a glare at the door she had recently departed from. There was probably no chance for a positive spin for the relationship between herself and Emma, in all likelihood, Laura would despise the woman forever.
