They say Ms. Frost is the best at what she does, but can she really help a wild'un like me? That was the sort of thoughts going through Heather Cameron's mind, but alongside such mental considerations were strings of hope and reassurance. After all, Heather had made the right choice in following her brother to the Massachusetts Academy. Guess we'll give the ol' lass a try, it won't hurt none.
Knock, knock~!
Obviously Heather had the right office, it had a name on it and everything. Solid gold, high luster, just the kind of taste the White Queen would indulge herself in. Idly the Australian wondered what one did when they had become as rich as Ms. Frost, was there even a point in going any further? But the curiosity gave way to expectation, an expectation to meet the Headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy face-to-face for a second time.

"Come in" Emma said as she heard the knock on the door.
She turned her head to the entrance and drank in the sight before her. A tall well built young woman. With a million thoughts rushing through her head.
"Yes, I can tame your wild Australian nature Heather. And I am only rather wealthy by getting what I want and that does not resort to any disgusting cliche'd old methods. If a woman wants to make her mark in this man riddled world she has to do it like a man. And I've done much better than my old sap of a father could ever do" she said as she set aside some files about Xavier.
She flipped through some manila folders and motioned to a seat in front of her. "Please, my pleasure. Have a seat. I know your a bit nervous to say the least, but trust your little brother, he's more important thank you think" she said, smiling at Heather, her glasses slightly tilted off her nose.
"You don't need me to tell you that you different. You know you are, and for the better, of that I can assure you. I'm simply here to help you hone to your difference and become all the more greater for it" Emma said as she linked her fingers together, resting her head lightly on them. She cocked her head slightly, while studying Heather.
She looks strong. Well built. She has an extreme leadership about her. She is very valuable. But how well can she pressure under real danger? Emma thought to herself as she grabbed her coffee mug and took a sip. As she set it down she allowed her telepathy to wander to Heather's head. You will not refer to me as a ol' lass. I am Ms. Frost Emma demanded, her head bent over some documents, but her eyes gleaming up at Heather.
"So, Heather, what brings you here to my Academy?" Emma said with a small smile.

Finally, Emma Frost. Heather would be able to meet her for a second time, though really this could be considered the official meeting. Previously, the first encounter, it had been to recruit her brother, while she decided what to do, eventually tagging along to join the Hellions. So far, the Massachusetts Academy was impressive, but such impressions left the moment her Headmistress began to speak again.
"I assumed you could." Why else would Heather have decided to trust herself to Emma or this place? But that could wait for later, right now there was much to discuss. "Though I must inquire, is reading every one of my thoughts necessary?" Heather didn't really mind if she was, there was not anything to hide per say, but it was kind of annoying. Then again, telepathy could be useful for making business decisions. "That out of the way, I'll have that seat now."
Sitting down was a relieve, the Massachusetts Academy was large and could take the wind out of you. Thankfully Heather was fairly athletic, there was more endurance to her, but that did not make it any easier. "Greater? Sounds smashing, but my powers aren't exactly like the rest here." If Emma could help her, lovely. If not, well, there was always Xavier or Magneto, but Emma had the style and flare, and the inhibition was appealing to the young female. Staying was preferred, but not mandatory.
Tingling, that is what she felt. Great, Emma was probing her head for something, probably what she had been or was thinking. No offense, ma'am. But the ol' rule of if it doesn't apply to you, it isn't about you applies here. I'll try and control myself, Ms. Frost. It had been what she was thinking, but Heather could deal with it. She was fond of her individualism, and expected to keep it. Emma Frost would have a hard time breaking that from her, but the socialite could try.
"My brother, mostly. But weighing what I do know about the other options, this one seemed best." Heather did not know much about Xavier or Magneto, but she assumed Emma was the best choice, and this is why her older brother went there. Heather, not wanting to be separated, decided to come along and here she was. "You have the wealth, influence, and resources. Surely you can help me get a better grasp of my powers, they're a bloody mess time t' time."

Emma smiled at the girls slight annoyance. Some spit in the fire, she thought to herself with amusement.
"It is entirely necessary to read every one of your thoughts. If you are harvesting a abandoned thought and are unaware, I can catch it and quell it from your mind. And as far as your trying to control yourself, I can help you with that. You have a strong leadership skill about you. It's quite possibly your most amazing trait" Emma said as she looked at Heather through her glasses.
"As for your powers,I can help you figure out how to control them and use them as you fully wish. There is something else sticking out about you. Something almost alien and I can't quite put my finger on it. With your permission I would like to run a full brain scan. Try to loosen some of the covers on your mind. It could prove useful to you n the future as opposed to a unexpected surprise later." Emma finished, closing her speech by folding her hands in front of her.
She smiled friendly to Heather again, while handing her the Academy papers. A simple coma induced state, brain scan and wipe and your golden Emma thought with a smile

Heather never considered her attitude spunky or rude. She always believed herself to be strong and independent, two vital signs to surviving in such a cold and harsh world; Emma could respect that, right? Probably not, the woman did not seem fond of actual competition or delays. Heather was learning this first hand, and taking mental notes on each remark and response.
"What exactly constitutes an 'abandoned' thought?" she pressed, curious to know. There was so many possibilities, Heather pondered. Surely if a thought isn't desired, it has a purpose for being like that, right? she purposely asked in thought, almost as if to place emphasis on the importance of Emma's answer. "My so-called leadership skills insist." Heather smiled, repeating what the Headmistress has complimented her on only seconds before.
"That isn't very wowser of you." she began. "Asking my permission for something." Emma's reading thoughts is what brought this about, and Heather found it strange the blond would actually ask to do something now that she admitted to intruding into people's minds. "I figure you would do it, regardless of my answer. What makes this any different than thoughts?" Fortunately for Heather her unique abilities could perceive any attempt on her mind as life threatening, thus activating her reactive adaptation powers, and keeping her out of harm's way.

"A abandoned thought is one that comes up occasionally but you push it farther in the back of your head. It usually comes up later throughout life and such" Ema said brushing her hand as if to wipe away the thought.
"Your leaership skills are amazing. You have a tactical mind and I'm shocked to be honest. Usually one s young doesn't show such handy worldy skills" Ema explained. "That is extremely useful. Never lose it. Ares will play on that point of your abilities a lot. Test you to your sheer limits" Emma said looking over a few notes.
"I'm not trying to impress you. I merely know my 'manners' if you will. I would not want you to display your powers on me without asking or acknowledging me first. Understand? Do not think you have found a weakness. I merely know how to be hospitable" Emma said with a smile. "Now with the Acadamy's standpoint, we need to do some file work. Sign here please. It merely states that you won't blow up the Acadamy. And if you do, you will pay in full. And here. And here" Emma said pointing t signature lines on a few sheets.

"I... see."
No need to continue with that, then. Heather had her answer, and that was all she had wanted, though by the tone of Emma, she had received more. Interestingly that toned carried over into compliments, all bestowed upon her from the vicarious White Queen.
"If I may be frank here, Ms. Frost." she began. "Leadership is merely common sense, you do whatever situates the advantage to you." Why no one else saw it like this was another riddle to solve, but later. Right now Lifeguard continued to exchange conversation with her superior. "But I'll do what I can, when I meet Ares." To be honest, Heather had yet to meet the legendary behemoth, but surely it could not be any worse than this. "It should be a ripping good time, Mr. Ares and I."
Paperwork, already? Gee, this was just like going to the doctor's office. "What are these papers, anyway?" she asked, curious to know what exactly she was reading and, hopefully, signing. "I like hearing what the beneficiary has to say, it gives me a clearer perspective on what to expect." Not that she believed these papers to be riddled with holes or loops, Heather could deal with that. "At my own risk I ask this, but why invite potentially dangerous people into your abode if you cannot handle the repercussions? Making them sign papers to reimburse for something they lack the funds to replace, it serves a failed purpose."

"Not everyone sees leadership so easy. Besides the 'leader' needs to be personable, and you seem to be 'chummy' enough" Emma said flicking her eyes toward her before returning to the papers.
"No real risk. I merely want people to know that my generosity has boundaries, as all god things must eventually. I give free bard and room with some other accoutrement's and I expect some sort of respect out of it." Emma said matter-of-factly. It's all pretty much legality and paperwork messages. In a nutshell I'm covering my ass" Emma said as she flicked through a few more pages.
'Okay, any questions on the acedemics portion? Or general about your soon-to-be-learning?" Emma asked as she took anther sip out of her mug.

Not the answer she was hoping for, but Heather would take it. Now all there was left to do was read these papers and sign them, but first she was going to ask for an extension. "I'd like an extension, so that I can properly read these." she said, not wanting to get trapped into something without doing so; idly she wondered if Davis had up and signed everything placed before him. "I may even be so bold as to make some suggestions, such as ways of payment in the event something happens. Which pushes me to ask, what if someone lacks the finances to repay you - what then?"
Actually, yes. Heather had some more questions, beginning with the others already here. "How many people are at this facility? Aside from my brother and I, I've been curious to know the numbers." Indeed she had, though mostly to see who all she would be encountering, training with, and possibly having to entrust her life to. Considering all of that, the question was not out of the ordinary or pushing any boundaries, but the next one could be considered just that. "How often are we active? I wouldn't want to tag along, if its dead 'n out."

Oh man today was so friggin boring. Training with Ares was over for the day and now there wasn't much else to do. Davis Cameron walked down the hallway whistling with his hands tucked into his loose fitting blue sweatpants. He thought about a few things that he could do to entertain himself. One thing in particular seemed to overrule everything else he could do. Spending time with his long time friend and now girlfriend, Jubilee, sounded like a lot of fun. He was still trying to get over that faithful day at the Bahamas with her. One of his dreams had come true and he was so over joyed about it. He smiled to himself as he strolled along, running his shirtless chest.
As we about to pass the office of Miss Frost a thought occured to him. Maybe he should get permission from the headmistress to leave the academy for a date with Jubes. With a sigh and a rub of his hands, he approached her office. Oddly the door was already opened, someone was sitting at the desk holding some papers. Davis paused for a moment and just stared at the back of the girl's head, his eyes narrowing and his mouth nearly dropping open. "H-Heather... is that you?" he asked as he walked further into the room. It had been a little over a year since the last time he had seen his sister. And now she was sitting right here in the office of his headmistress.

Emma smiled lightly and shook her head. "Of course you may have an extension. How does a week sound?" Emma said as she made a small tick on a flip calendar on her desk.
Emma raised a slight eyebrow at Heathers next question. "Well Miss Cameron, I suppose we will just wait to see now won't we? It hasn't happened yet, but if it does I will deal with appropriately" Emma said, keeping her eyes on Heather.
"There are three Hellion members on my squad and two on Ares. As far as activity, your squad will be training with you and learning your tactics. So I suppose you could expect to be active within two weeks. Knowing Ares though, I would assume he would like to push it to a week or less" Emma answered. Her eyes flicked to the doorway as a shirtless male walked to the entrance. "Ah Davis. Your sister and I were just mentioning you. Please sit" she said with a welcoming smile. "He seems shocked to see you here" Emma said with a slight cock of her head to Heather.

A week? You must be kidding... This would require at least three weeks, Heather had learned you could never be too thorough with documents, especially if said documents pertained to the White Queen. I'll need three. One to read it, two to proof read, and three to check for technicalities. No way was Heather Cameron getting suckered into something, not if she had any way of controlling the outcome first.
... and speaking of 'controlling outcomes', here came the flesh and blood. "Davis?" she asked, though not in a tone as sensitively shocked as her older sibling. "I didn't expect to run into you for another few hours, this is gobsmackingly delightful." Sarcasm, then back to business. "You sign any papers like this?" Heather flashed him the papers. If he had, then it would be beneficial to pick up any experiences Davis held under his belt.
I'll keep that in mind... she spoke mentally, as if to keep Davis out of this direct conversation between her and Emma. ... but when will I get to meet this Ares? Surely we aren't thrown to the lions. Heather was reminded who she was looking at, the White Queen. Then again... The image of being lifted above a pit full of lions was becoming clearer, even more so at the prospect of being dropped into the dark depths. Only the strong, or in this case worthy, would survive. ... it could be the thrill I've been looking for.

"Take as long as you need. You can start classes and training as soon as the papers are turned into my hands." Emma said as she opened her hands. She looked at Davis and 'tutted' in her head. Cocky young boys think they're gods gift to women she thought to herself as she flipped through some files. "Ah, here they are. Davis Cameron. All signed and received. How is your training going Davis? Is Ares accommodating to your powers and strength?" she asked as she held up his file and looked up at him. "Oh and Davis, make sure you try and keep your aching boyhood in your pants please. I know the female creature can be enticing. Especially one such as Miss Lee, but remember respect." she said as she gave him a wary eye.

When she turned to face him, his eyes lit up. "Holy crap it is you sis!" He walked over and gave her a big bearhug as she sat then took his place next to her in the vacant seat. A small chuckle escaped him at her sarcastic manner. "I see you're still as cheerful as ever." He shook his head with a smile then turned his attention to Emma when she spoke to him. Dude she was so friggin hot. If ever given the chance he would so plow her into next Tuesday. Holy crap, I hope she didn't hear those loud thoughts.
Davis snickered at her pants comment. "Can do Miss Frost. And my training is going well, though I really hate it. And Ares can be a bit of a douche at times with all that yelling and unnecessary crap." Yea training sucked major balls, he was a slacker and proud to admit it. He then looked to the papers in his sister's hands. "Yea I did. Couldn't get in if I didn't. But who cares about that crap, what are you doing here? I thought you wanted to do your own thing and try to be 'normal'?"

Time, she wouldn't waste it. Heather would be putting that to good use and studying these documents, studying them with an intent of distrust. Emma Frost was talented, but she couldn't be trusted - no one could really - and so caution had to be taken. However the desire to be a part of the Massachusetts Academy, as silly as it could seem, is what kept Heather more on the pro-White Queen side. Only time could tell where she belonged...
"Davis, as thrilling as it is. I really need to be focusing on this conversation, you and I can talk - later." she said. Heather was not unhappy to see her sibling, but there was a time and place for it. Right now the younger Cameron wanted to finish with Emma, as it required most, if not all, of her focus. "But since you're here, stick around. I could use a tour of this place from a seasoned resident."
Moving to stand, papers in hand, Heather looked towards Ms. Frost a moment before speaking. "If it isn't too bugger for you, I will be taking my leave now. If I have any more questions, I'll contact you." she said, slight smile formulating across her face. Now that that was out of the way and said, Heather could put her attention on Davis. God, this was going to be awkward.
