Scott stood in full training gear wearing his dark blue and yellow uniform with his special yellow combat visor made him feel like a real X-man, despite the fact it could be considered uncomfortably tight but he supposed it wouldn't be made this way unless it was necessary and deep down he did sort of wonder what the girl's uniforms looked like...purely from a strategic point of view of course... The good thing about the danger room was that you could have more or less any any scenario running...from basic target practice to elaborate holographic simulations. It was his and Jean's responsibility to mold the next generation of students in to people who could handle missions. It made him think of the future a little...like would he leave the school? or could he stay here as a teacher...but a decision like that was a long way off, probably years away...so for now he considered himself a volunteer teacher, a student helping a student as he waited for the others to arrive.

Sporting her own X-man uniform Jean entered the Danger Room ready to give the new students a little introduction ton the more, vigorous side of being a student at the Xavier Institute. To train and help them learn to control their abilities, that was her goal, and although she herself was still learning to control her gifts, the Professor and Magneto deemed her experienced enough to be a trainer. She wasn't alone however as her partner in this was Scott, whom she smirked as as soon as she saw him already geared up and ready for today's session. " I take it this session is going to be running a little late. No one's here yet. Not a good way to start off," she sighed taking a stand next to him. " By the way, nice outfit. They do your buns justice." she grinned and chuckled a bit. She did enjoy making him all flustered.

Scott heard the door open with a swish and turned. Luckily it was Jean but...wow, he wasn't wrong when he thought about what the girl's uniform might look like, he was glad he had a visor on because his eyes were popping out of his skull. Instantly he realised his thoughts must be wide open and he begun to think of boring things...of math, tuna salad, that song by that band he hated...
He nodded when she said the session might be running late due to people not being here, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Then he went bright red again...with her comments...she did it again! he didn't know why he let things she said effect him so much, now he was about as red as his optic blasts. He cleared his throat and said in a voice he forced calm "Oh...well it's good you're here now...because..well...y'know, would be better for both teachers to be here before students...we could talk about exactly what we're putting them through, I bet we have different ideas"

One thing Kurt had gradually learned about his newly found gifts was that he could never really be late. Now, the furry blue mutant never had anywhere to be on time to before, but he assumed that this was something that could be a very nifty little trick. Changed into a black and red uniform, that had been tailored for his body's architecture, Kurt looked at the clock and then at his schedule. He had a few minutes but finished making sure his tail was comfortable and tried to remember just where the Danger Room was.
BAMF!
Kurt looked around to a white, tiled room and the sounds of running water. Then the sound of high-pitched screams hit and Kurt didn't have to realize where he was. Quickly his sulfuric eyes snapped shut and he finally remembered the right location.
BAMF!
Kurt's hands stayed clutched over his eyes as he landed in a low courched position. His lips seemed to have contorted in a very terrified, yet embarassed, expression while his pointed ears twitched for more sounds of angered yelling or shower nozzles. When he was sure he was safe, he peeked from behind the mask of his fingers and realized he was in the right place. A wide grin spread across his features as he did what any teen would do and subtly pumped his fist. "Sorry if I am late... I got a bit, az you say, lost."

Ororo Munroe served on the staff of the institute as the English teacher. She loved her job since it allowed her to meet so many new people and get to make new friends, teach kids about life and values. She also liked the fact that she was one of the senior members of the X-Men. Before coming to the states, she was looked upon as a goddess in Africa, being worshipped for her natural abilities. It wasn't until Charles Xavier came back and explained to her that she was a mutant, which made her want to join his team.
Today it was time for a little combat training for the junior team of future X-Men. Ororo wasn't appointed to be the one to train them, but she decided to join in on the action to see the skills of the mutants. The young Scott Summers and Jean Grey were in charge of the session just like usual for they were the most senior. Making her way to the danger room, Ororo say the two of them standing in the room with another student, Kurt Wagner. She was fond of the little furry guy for his enthusiasm and faith. They were all dressed in their battle uniforms looking like a real team. She herself was wearing her usual blue getup. Ororo entered the room with a warm smile on her face. "Well hello to you all. How are we doing on this fine day?"

Remy sighed as he woke up and realized he was late. "Mon Dieu!" He quickly got dressed in his fighting outfit that he had brought from home and ran to the Danger Room as fast as he could slipping and sliding in the hallways and crashing into things that he prayed weren't that valuable. He managed to snag a piece of bread in the kitchen and held it between his teeth as he made his way to the place he was supposed to be. Before he entered the Danger Room he finished off the bread and sauntered in causally. "Good morning mes amies and bonjour to the petites!" He grinned in his rougish way and winked charmingly. "Is Remy late?" He asked hoping that he wasn't.

Cyclops blinked in surprise as a mutant bamfed in with a puff of smoke, covering his eyes with a scrunched up embarrassed face. He nodded when Nightcrawler said he got lost, it wasn't so bad...since he was the first here. Shortly after him Storm arrived which was a surprised, he didn't think he'd have an actual teacher here and in a way it was a little unnerving...sort of like he was being tested, but he decided to rise to the challange and prove to the staff he and Jean could lead a team.
He was about to get started with...one team member and one member of staff when Remy came in. He didn't like latness...esspecially doing it that casually but he wasn't the last one here so he wouldn't say anything, He looked behind him quickly to see if Kitten was with him but it didn't appear so...so he decided to start. "Right...well hello team. We're going to be performing a combat simulation but first I think we need to be more familiar with each other, I know some of us know each other but for the benefit of strangers I Want each of us to introduce ourselves and explain what we can do..mutant abilities and non powered abilities and more importantly what you can't do. I'll go first. I'm Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops. I fire optic blasts from my eyes. I'm not exactly the best hand to hand combatant but I can fly the jet we have stored down here...alright, who's next?" Ok...so this could be considered a bit lame compared to battling whatever the danger room had in store but it was important to get to know his team, he wanted to know their full range of skills so he could lead them effectivly and not throw up tidal waves against a team of pyrokinetics.

Finally, some of the recruits decided to start showing up. The blue fuzzy one and the cajun to be specific, also accompanied by...Storm? Jean couldn't help but wonder why a teacher would be here. Most likely to evaluate how much she and Scott were capable of training the newbies. In that case, they'd just have to bring they're A game, which wasn't a problem because they always did in the first place.
"Hi guys and hello to you Ms. Munroe, I'm doing very well." Jean smiled to them. "As Scott said, we believe it's important that you hone your gifts and we want to help you do that. My name is Jean Grey, my codename is Marvel Girl. My powers include Telepathy and Telekinesis. Yes, this is corny, but I feel we should each introduce ourselves and our powers so we know who everyone is and what they can do. Next please."

Kitten walked in on all fours and then looked towards the others with this big exited smile on her face. She would actually love being on the team. The girl then looked up and then introduced herself . She pointed herself " me is Kathy Yiosa me codename is Kitten " she tinted her head as she though her powers and then " about Kathy's powers she has enhanced senses , a small healing factor but kitten can't regenerate, super human agility, extendable claws , kitten can also communicate with cats " she smiled proudly as she told her powers.

Scott glanced over as Kitten looked in. He decided not to say anything because she seemed shy enough...and he didn't want to go embarassing and hurting her in one swift move. He nodded at her after her introduction with a smile before turning to the rest of the group.
It seemed that they were a bit shy because they were keeping rather quiet...maybe a lack of stabilised order prevented them from knowing who was supposed to go next. "Okay Kitten, welcome to the team... he said with a smile before suggesting "Ok...who's next?"

"Okay Kitten, welcome to the team... "he said with a smile before suggesting "Ok...who's next?"
"I believe dat would be me Tovarishch. Hello everyone, my name is Piotr Rasputin." Piotr said with heavily accented English as he walked into the Danger Room. It certainly was an impressive collection of people here already. His eyes passed over them as he walked in, such a collection of people would certainly not be seen back him in Russia, especially those with Storm's complextion or the two mutants with obvious physical mutations in particular.
Piotr tried to look calm and collected as he walked towards the group. The truth was Piotr couldn't have been more nervous. The training for today was suppose to be combat, a situtation where Piotr knew he would be expected to use his strength for destructive purposes. It was a neccessary evil but not one that he was entirely comfortable with at this point.
"My powers as Colossus are simple. I turn into a metallic form with superstrength, durability and stamina."

Scott Summers - Cyclops Jean Grey - Marvel Girl Kurt Wagner - Nightcrawler Ororo Munroe - Storm Kathy Yiosa - Kitten Piotr Rasputin - Colossus
If that ain't a lot'a names, she thought. On top'a that, I'll be needin' to know their powers. Not too difficult considering how much of a stickler for education and learning Paige was; so far everything here seemed to be about the books. Maybe one'a them'll do somethin'... oh!
Her turn?
"Name's Paige Guthrie, though most find it easier wit' 'Husk'." she quickly put in, following the example set by those who preceded her. Now, her powers. "Wit'out rackin' ya brains, I pull on some skin an' this sexy lil' body takes a new form." Wow, if that did not sound like some ridiculously overpowered nonsense, nothing did.

Wow a lot of people had showed up for the little training session. Ororo was impressed with how Scott had the students introduce themselves and their powers first to learn a little more. Smart man, it was always useful to know the abilities of your comrades especially in battle situations. It would be the deciding factor in a battle. After Paige introduced herself to the others, it was now time for her to introduce herself though they all knew her already.
She stepped forward with her arms folded. "Hello everyone, my name is Ororo Munroe or as you all refer to me, Storm. I have the ability to control the weather and shape it as I see fit." She gave a small smile to them before continuing. "I will be joining in on your training session today not as a teacher, but as a fellow student. Which means I will be taking orders from you Scott. Let us see how well all those past lessons pay off." While getting in a little training for herself, she would also be taking mental notes on how well they all worked as a unit and Scott's leadership skills.

Not long after Kurt had been the first New Mutant to show… it seemed that several others were to follow. Unnerved a bit, the mutant coiled a bit in his crouch. He was used to large groups but he at least had the isolating confines of bars to prove a good barrier. His initial demeanor was not improved when there was another one with a physical mutation like himself. She seemed… odd. Which was saying something considering he was by no means the picture of normalcy. The blue mutant listened intently to everyone and their abilities. He paid attention… sort of.
How could he listen to anything when their English was so funny? He could understand Scott, Jean, and Ms. Munroe just fine. Even the blonde one that came in. But there were the three that he just couldn’t. Piotr had the thick accent of a Russian… but this “Remy” he wanted to guess was French. Or something. The other girl that was somewhat like him. He just didn’t understand the conjugations she was using. He was just learning English, which was bad enough, but these… these accents were a bit much for him.
”Ahm. I am Kurt Wagner,” he introduced with a thick “v” noise at the beginning of his last name. “I haf the ability to… ahm… ahm… “ Oh no! He couldn’t think of the word. What to do!? What to say? Slightly terrified, Kurt’s mouth gave a bit of slack and he tried to collect himself. He teleported to another part of the room, with a loud BAMF accompanying it. He waved and teleported back. He waved away the sulfuric smoke and provided a nervous smile. ”Zey call me ze Nightcrawler.”

'I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!' Echoed through Kitty's head as she darted through the halls, literally through the halls. Her brown eyes full of a wild sort of rushed emotion she made her way to the training session. The brunette silently thanked any and all deities she could hope to remember as she ran. Silently chiding herself for having gotten caught up in some programming stuff Kitty hated feeling like she was gonna be late. And by late she of course meant that she wasn't going to be five minutes early. Though she should have expected it, Kitty was a highly focused individual who will zero in on the task at hand and lose themselves in it.
The young mutant had just done that and she was paying for it. Seeing the doors to the Danger Room ahead of her Kitty blinked rapidly realizing she wasn't going to come to a stop quick enough for her to open them properly. Closing her eyes tightly Kitty's skidding feet stopped making noise on the polished floor of the hallway. As the door quickly approached she skidded right on through it and continued on right through eventually coming to a stop with her body half way through one, Kurt Wagner. Eyes widening in surprise Kitty moved quickly separating herself from the German mutant. Having caught the end of Kurt's speech she smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry guys...I got a little caught up in something and ended up not realizing how late it was getting." Smiling apologetically she blushed as well, "I'm Kitty Pryde, also known as Shadowcat, and as you all just saw to my embarrassment, I can walk through walls and people." She smiled sheepishly at Kurt mouthing a quick 'Sorry' to him before standing at attention, hoping she wasn't in too much trouble for being a couple minutes late. She didn't mean to, really.
