Wolverine, with his enhanced senses, was the first person to come across the Morlock city itself, that is, the centre of the crude assortment of make shift buildings and encampments that was home to the Morlocks. Unfortunately, he had followed the stench of death to find it.
Whatever number of deceased Morlock's they had come across on the way, what was present here was far beyond, the Canadian couldn't tell how many bodies there were, but it was three figures, cast around the outside of the centre. It would turn one's stomach easy enough. There was someone alive, not Morlock though, Wolverine caught site of a person, a woman by the looks of it, but the green robe she was adorned in made it impossible to tell anything else, but she was speaking to someone in a very large suit of armour.
There were steps leading down to the level the two were on, but Wolverine didn't use them, instead leaping from his position, claws popped. "Hellions, don't take a genius to tell these ones are the big bosses, lets end this!" he roared, the two looked in his direction, the one is green moved away, disappearing into the sewers.
The other, the one in armour, he grinned behind a green glass like screen, large, powerful mechanical arms braced themselves, a dangerous looking glow coming from the palms.
"Come Mutant, always ready to kill another, never enough mutants dead for The Crimson Dynamo!"[/b] he laughed as his suit started to move. Dozens of Hydra soldiers came running from the same exit the one in green had disappeared into, automatic rifles, flamethrowers, rocket launchers and all sorts of close combat weapons ready to deal out death, everything from clubs to swords. The last battle was on!

After the two groups of Hellions had split up, Marie-Ange had taken a different route than Wolverine. Her main objective was to find any surviving Morlocks... which they had only managed to succede in a few times. They mainly were all dead, a fact which greatly bothered the French mutant.
The Knight of Swords and the King of Swords walked a few feet in front of her, their weapons at the ready in case of any HYDRA attack.
Shouts from a tunnel up ahead made her pause for a moment, before racing forwards, the Knight and King still several feet in front of her.
She raced out into a room- it muct have been the Morlock's main city- there were crude buildings and camp sites and dead bodies.... and HYDRA agents pouring in from a doorway directly across from her.
She grabbed several cards, and the Knight of Wands and the Death card appeared in front of her.
"Attaque!" She cried out, pointing her finger at the HYDRA soldiers. The four figures raced forwards, jumping into battle.

Cyclops walked through the sewers, he tried to be quiet but stealth wasn't his strong suit...and the splashing of the water was making a loud noise. He turned a corner and blinked in surprise. In front of him was what appeared to be a shanty town...it was amazing, he wasn't aware exactly how the Morloks lived down here..but it seemed they were rather inventive.
Looking behind him he yelled "X-men! up here! we've found the city" and with that he walked forward, seeing the soldiers run out he blinked...how many of these guys were there? pressing his visor he fired two bolts, hitting one man in the chest and another in the arm he seemed to be using to carry his heavy machine gun. He saw what appeared to be a Morlok in front of a green metal-suited man, blinking he decided to help him and shouted to the clawed Morlok "Don't worry! we're here to help!

After having their little team discussion about who was going to lead the team and who was going to go with who, it was now time to take action and finish this massacre. Davis was placed with the squad that was going to be evacuating people from the sewers and placing them in the Academy. Seeing as how he was the only one capable of doing so, it only made sense that that would be his job. But still, he was pissed and wanted to be kicking ass and taking names so he could kicked their asses again later.
Before long, the group had made it to what looked like Morlock city. Lots of shanties everywhere... along with dead mutants. Wolverine had begun his attack on a guy apparently calling himself the Crimson Dynamo. Everything in him was screaming to attack the HYDRA morons in the room, but he had a job to do and do it he was going to do... right. Davis set his eyes on a two morlocks huddled together just as some goons were about to shoot them. In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind the thugs snapping one's neck and thrusting his foot into the other's face. The last one almost got to pull the trigger but couldn't as he suddenly found himself falling from the sky into an ocean filled with Great Whites.
Davis came back and grabbed onto the two morlocks and teleported them to Mass Academy, leaving them in the front hall. "This place is safe for you. I'll be bringing more and more survivors here. Don't worry, Miss Frost'll take good care of you mates." Davis saluted them and teleported back to the battle to start the cycle again.

Ororo disgusted at how these men and women could commit such a horrible act as slaughter. This was just as bad as what happened to the Jews during World War II, a genocide. She wanted to put an end to this madness and probably could in an instant, but she didn't want to kill them. That would make her no better than these monsters. Ororo sent a small jolt of lightning at the last HYDRA agent in her immediate area and sighed. She floated back to the ground and shook her head as she dropped to her knees. Being surrounded by so much death was hard for her, so hard in fact that the water atmosphere in the tunnels started to change, even the weather above ground was affected.
Loud thunder cracked as lightning flashed in the sky. Noticing the changes in everything, Ororo straightened herself up, stood and wiped the water from her eyes. She had to be strong now more than ever. There were still morlocks down here that needed her help, she would have to grieve for her fallen brethren. Ororo was now ready to continue on with the mission, her composure back and the weather returned to normal. She followed the others down the tunnels and soon came upon a... city. Cyclops shot a few HYDRA goons as she struck three more with lightning. "My God how many are there?" she asked no one in particular.
She flew up above the others and began gathering up enough wind to create a small tornado. Once she was satisfied with it, the tornado swirled through the groups of soldiers sending them hurling in every direction of the shanty town. This fight was gong to be over soon enough.

The Agents of Hydra, at the arrival of the X-men and Hellions, started jumping behind cover, boxes and crates, the houses and anything that would protect them from the various attacks coming down on them. With nerves of steel and hearts burning with passion they waited until the right moment, glancing and spotting, every so often popping out from their hiding spot to fire off bullets, aiming to kill. One of them ran up through the centre the town, a one time use rocket launcher was pulled up over one shoulder as he took aim at the woman who was creating miniature tornado's, he took a moment to aim and fired his projectile, watching the rocket speed towards Storm.
As for the Crimson Dynamo, he laughed at the sight of Wolverine, clearly not threatened by the clawed mutant. When the Canadian came into range, he swung one of his large, mechanical fists at the youth, his other hand pointed towards the mutant he might later learn to call Cyclops, aided by his armour's targeting system he locked in and fired a green beam from his palm.

The next to arrive on the scene was Adam Warlock, young and fool hardy he leapt into the fray, his normally golden skin now possessing more then a hint of blue as he felt the effects of using up his powers, he was getting tired! But he still had juice in the old batteries. He took a moment to slide a hand across his forehead, all the running and fighting had left him sweating a little.
Either way, one of the first problems he spotted was a rocket going straight towards Storm! It was a clear area of attention, his arms shot out and the rocket was covered in glowing energy, quickly spinning out of control and exploding. Problem one sorted, but with so many weapons around, there was still a need for protection, it only took one bullet to kill anyone present. Moving his hands again, Adam started to manipulate the cosmic energies and formed a shield around the X-men, and three other people dressed in red who appeared to be trying to help.

NOTE: EMMA IS NOT IN THE SEWERS, SHE IS AT MASS. ACADEMY. i AM MERELY POSTING HERE BECAUSE SLIPSTREAM TELEPORTED TWO MORLOCKS TO THE ACADEMY, AND SO I CAN KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE TEAM: NOTE
Emma was waiting for the survivors. She had on her diamond skin in case any of these Morlock mutants should attack her. She heard Slipstream calm down the two survivors before sending them to her.
As soon as they appeared on her end she immediately placed them under a induced coma, fearing the would lash out at her. Good, Slipstream, keep them coming. If need be use force to get to the survivors Emma thought as she lifted one of the survivors onto a cot, and moving to the next one.

Post by Colossus on Jul 25, 2009 7:44:36 GMT
Colossus came across the Morlock City only moments later. Piotr had done his task of guarding Kitty's retreat with those they had managed to save. Since then he had been performing his task as well as could be expected. Moving with the group he was using his metallic form as a shiled when needed and his impressive strength whenever his enemies had tried to stand before them.
As they entered the The Morlock City gunfire erupted from every direction and Colossus instantly heard the tell tale pings of bullets bouncing off his organic steel body. Piotr was concerned that a richocet might hit one of his teammates but had to trust that they would stay safe.
He was about to charge a group of soldiers hiding behind some crates when he saw armored figure that had introduced himself as the Crimson Dynamo fire a green energy beam at Cyclops.
"NO!" He shouted as he grabbed Cyclops and pulled him away from the beam's path and took the hit for his teammate instead. Colossus could only hope that his metal body would be strong enough to absorb the damage intended by this green energy blast.

As Scott noticed the hand come up he turned the power on his visor to full, he was releaved when it was a laser as you could see where thy were going better then a bullet, his fast reflexes brought his hand up to press the fire button whe- oof he was knocked off his feet, looking over he saw colossus take the blast and muttered "Damn it pete..." to himself, knowing he didn't want to miss this opitunity he pressed the fire button three times and sent a trio of powerful optic blasts at the green suited man.

Once they had finished their bickering Archangel had traveled with Wolverine and the rest of the squad designated to be the attackers. He had followed along behind Wolverine as he led them through the tunnels until they had come to the city of the Morlocks themselves. Standing among the countless HYDRA Agents where two figures, one clad in green and the other in an impressive armored attire.
"Hellions, don't take a genius to tell these ones are the big bosses, lets end this!"
"Yes," Warren said dryly, "lets." As the clawed mutant leaped at the Crimson Dynamo Archangel saw the green clad figure turn and duck down one of the side tunnels. Given how many people where here, including another team of mutants apparently, no one seemed interested in the second person. Well certainly they could all brawl themselves silly while he was going to try to be a little more focused on the situation.
"I got the runner." He told his teammates as he spread his metallic wings and soared over the crowd and furled them quickly to dive down and bank into the tunnel the green clad figure had taken. The tunnel was still confining but there was barely enough room to spread his wings out wide enough to allow him to race down the tunnel faster then someone on foot. The predator in him brought a smile to Archangel's face as he began searching for his prey. Hopefully it would be worth the effort.

Post by Mimic on Jul 27, 2009 21:03:23 GMT
The first thing Calvin noticed was the smell. The stench of death had permeated the tunnels and had been nearly overwhelming to him. As he followed Wolverine down the tunnels the stench had only gotten stronger to the point that he could barely focus on what he was doing. Of course with his senses only being half the strength of Logan's Calvin was amazed that he could function with such a single minded determination that really was impressive.
Finally they reached a destination of rag tag city of boxes, tents and a make shift civilization. The number of dead they had come across had been haunting but in this city it smelled like a slaughterhouse. His first few steps had caused Mimic to gag at the stench and he had to chew back the vomit that threatened to rise up from his stomach.
"Christ," he said after a moment. "This place is a mad house." Mimic's statement seemed accurate as he watched mutants, other then the Hellions, who where engaged in combat with countless HYDRA Agents. Weapons soared through the air as mutant powers exchanged fire with human weaponry. It was completely crazy. And in all of it Archangel screamed something about a runner and disappeared down a side tunnel. Mimic had half a mind to go after him but knew this situation called for his abilities more then the winged mutant would.
As the details began to focus in his mind Calvin watched Wolverine leap at the armored monster that was obviously leading the attack. Not to discredit his teammate but it appeared that it would take more then just a ferocious set of claws to take the Dynamo down. Before he leaped into combat though Calvin watched the new group of mutants for a moment and saw two things in particular that caught his eye. One was a seven foot man made of metal and the other was firing crimson energy bolts from a visor on his face. Now that could certainly be useful.
Calvin was fortunate enough to had mimicked Slipstream back in the entrance to the tunnel because now it gave him a chance to gather two more powers quickly. Riding the warp wave Mimic appeared in the air above the two mutants and reached out for their abilities. Luck was on his side as Slipstream had just teleported out and Calvin felt his powers fade away.
Mimic focused on the pair and instantly felt their power pour into his body. Whoever the big metal guy was his form was obviously more powerful then Emma Frost's because he felt his diamond body shift into one of organic steel instead. The strength that came with this new body was much greater then his diamond one. If Calvin was lucky maybe he'd managed to hang around this guy long enough to retain his power. As for the second character, a shorter mutant wearing a visor, Mimic instantly a tingling in his as power began to build. The intensity was such that Mimic could barely contain it even as his own eyes began to glow crimson red. Certainly with these two powers he should be able to help Logan take down the dork in the expensive suits.
"Thanks guys," he called out to them before coiling his leg muscles tightly together before leaping towards Crimson Dynamo, his now metallic fists where clasped together over his head, his leap carried him towards the enemy. His plan was simple enough to jump at the guy and drive both fists together down onto his armor with as much strength as he could bring to bear.

The HYDRA agents continued their assault on the X-men and Hellions. Bullets were fired at the students from both academies, but their responding attacks were beginning to make a dent in the HYDRA forces.
Meanwhile, the woman in the green cloak smirked as she turned around, her hands on her hips. She eyed the silver that mutant that approached her, then raised her hand, firing a paralyzing energy beam at Archangel. The beam of green energy slammed into his chest, sending a surprising shock through his body. He fell to the floor as pain shot out into his limbs, before he knew what was going on, he realized he couldn't move.
“You can’t stop me, mutant.” She snarled, then turned on her heel and continued racing down the sewer, where she soon safely escaped.
Back in the main Morlock city, the combined might of the X-men and Hellions were taking the fight to Crimson Dynamo and Hydra, the hands of Mimic came crashing down on the Russian Armoured warrior, it was by no means a defeating blow, the armours shock absorbers and stabilisers aiding in a quick recovery, but he was getting one or two red warnings flicking up in his view, not that anyone on the outside would be able to see it.
The beam fired, meant for Cyclops but intercepted by Colossus, would have killed the Alaskan boy, but to the Russian, it would be no lethal blow, a blast he would feel, certainly, a pain relief pill would not be refused later on, one would expect, but it was far from lethal, or even going to cause an injury of any form. However, that same weapon being turned on Mimic, would be more dangerous, for even though Crimson Dynamo did not know it, the boy only had half the durability, raising his laser arm he pointed it, the suits targeting mechanism already locking in, aiding and guiding his arm before firing, at a much closer range then Colossus would have taken the hit from. "Silly mutants, you die today!"

There wasn't much Marie-Ange could do, aside from direct her knights and her various other psionic constructs. The knight of swords stood next to her, attacking any HYDRA agents that made it too close.
One of the other people who were fighting the Hellions had some sort of shielding power, which had promptly saved her life as bullets began raining down on them. She concentrated on fighting the agents- Wolverine and Mimic, and those other mutants who came seemed to handle the big red guy... Crimson Dynamo, or something?
She turned around, seconds before Calvin dived at Crimson Dynamo...
No! He couldn't do that, he was going to fire at Calvin, and good God, it wasn't going to end well because Calvin was too close.... and it was times like these that she was glad that she had precognition.
Marie-Ange flicked the Tower tarot card into her hand, and her eyes began glowing white as the Tower appeared around Calvin. The psionic construct managed to protect Calvin, but at a price- the Tower was destroyed once the attack ceased, and she fell to one knee, clenching her forehead.
Psionic backlash never was fun, after all. She was just lucky she didn't pass out.
