Finally, a mission! How long had it been again, since he was last trusted to be on a mission? By himself? It wasn't that he was bad at what he did, no...the others just didn't trust him much. Here, he was in his element: espionage. His mission was simple; to infiltrate Emma Frost's new academy and learn whether or not they were anymore or less of a threat then the damn X-Men. Simple, right? Wrong.
They had the trouble of one fact: that Emma Frost was a telepath. That's where Exodus had come in earlier. Not only was it his job to deliver Toad to the area, he'd also blocked out any brain patterns from around them, pretty much shielding them from Frost's security. As soon as they were on the ground, as long as Toad stayed out of sight, he was scott free.
He rustled through the bushes, yellow eyes, narrowed as he watched the Academy with a low smirk, fixing his black bandanna as he got back down into a crouch and slunk across the brush, silent and careful not to attract attention.

Vixen couldn't believe how busy her day was! After rising early and getting ready for the day and classes along with breakfast she hurried to her class. These kids seemed to hate history these days! She tried to make it fun for them but they just looked at her like she was crazy. She was in for a long day today and she thanked god that it was a study period.
She was relaxing by the pool when a green moving thing caught her eye. She was currently checking papers in her bikini and a pair of shorts and sipping an ice water. She lifted her head and blinked. Was that a huge frog? She thought to herself and let the sunglasses drop down on her nose. It was a human with the coloring of a frog. "Hey!! Aren't you supposed to be in study period right now!!" She yelled to him wondering if he was a new student.

"!" Toad tensed up and ducked further into the brush, yellow eyes huge as he eyed the woman calling toward him. Damn...one of the teachers?? Dammit, dammit, dammit! He thought the grass would hide him, and the black would help him blend with the ground, but it seemed as though he were mistaken.
Wait...maybe if he kept still, she'd think it was a trick of the light or something. Toad crouched down into a defensive stance, completely still as his yellow eyes watched her bikini-clad form approach him, eyes raking her, searching for weak points as she came closer.

Vixen approached the spot where she had last seen the green frog-like person and looked into the tree line around the school. "I know your there..." She called out kindly and stretched her body needing the break from grading papers and tests. "Come now...there's no need to hide we're all the same as you are..." She said trying to appeal to the person she had seen's need to belong. "I'm sure that Miss Frost and the rest of the teachers including me would be glad to help?" She said quietly yet loud enough for Toad to hear.
She shrugged and sighed softly as she turned around back to finish grading papers hoping that the frog-like man would come out of hiding if she retreated for now. Many people didn't know it but underlying that sweet personality was a powerhouse of martial art knowledge and a will to use that knowledge on those who attacked her.

Pft. Like he'd believe that load of garbage. If there was one painful lesson Mortimer had learned over the years, it was that human or mutant alike, everyone was in it for themselves. No one truly cared. More than likely, Frost had started this school to show up Xavier's little institution. Maybe she wanted to help, but not before being the best. That's what it was always about...being the best.
When she sighed and turned her back, Toad smirked and chuckled softly to himself. Well, at least she was smart enough to back off. He began slinking through the brush again, heading for one of the back doors to the school.

Vixen kept a close eye out for any movement in the brush and spotted Toad out of the corner of her eye. She was a crafty one who could easily use her fire to keep a potential enemy in place and possibly kill them with a snap of her fingers. Fire was her element, growing up in the heat of California and having a birthday in the summer. Fire never hurt her and was almost like a lover to her.
She snapped her fingers and set a small fire to Toad's derriere hoping it would scare him out of hiding. She let it grow hot enough but small to warn him that he was dealing with one talented mutant. It would leave no real damage and scare him just a bit.

Well...his ass sure was hot...was it the sun? And then he smelled smoke...oh...crap. Toad looked back at his rump with a start and jumped, literally, out of the brush and right into the pool that was beside said area, a yelp of sorts escaping him before a huge splash silenced him. He quickly swam back up to the surface and grumbled, his bandanna slumping over his eyes as he swam over to the side of the pool and hung onto it.
He moved to climb out, but cried out as he slipped and fell back in. Well, if the first thing didn't make him look stupid, this sure did.

Vixen stood at the edge of the pool and gave Toad a look of amusement. "Now young man...We can discuss your stay at the school if this is what you were aiming for..." She said wearing a kind smile and held a hand out to Toad ready to help him out of the pool. "About the fire...it was there just to scare you out of hiding...I wouldn't allow any harm to come to any students..." She explained hoping that he would forgive her.
She smiled gently at the green skinned man and he could see that she was a kind woman by her eyes. "Please let us help you?" She asked and continued to hold out her hand to help him from the pool.

"Young man?" Mortimer scoffed and looked her up and down. Honestly, they were hiring teachers younger and younger these days...she couldn't have been more than...what, twenty, maybe nineteen? "Lis'en, poppet, I fink I'm a bit too old t' be bein' called a young man..." He was gonna be thirty in a couple of years, after all.
"Secon've all, th' fire, didn' scare me," Didn't she notice yet that he most certainly wasn't a student? Was she really that oblivious? Then again...he could use this to his advantage...maybe if he could get her to show him around the building...she did look too nice for her own good, after all...
"But, I s'pose y' could make it up t' me...I'm rafher new, after all, an' I don't know my way 'at well around here...a tour'd be real helpful," He grinned toothily, revealing a row of sharp, yellow teeth; he wasn't always the best at socializing, but he could try.

Vixen smiled softly and shrugged at him being to old to be called a young man. "Fine, be that way...just trying to be kind to the elderly..." She chuckled softly and helped Toad out of the pool and handed him the towel she had been laying on. "Here...I was getting ready to go in anyway. I'd love to give you a tour.." She tied a sarong, a sheer fabric that is tied around the waist like a skirt, around her waist and picked up the books and papers that she had laying about and gave him a good look at her ass by accident.
She then straightened up and gave Toad an innocent smile. "Well shall we go in and I'll give you a tour of the Academy. As soon as I put these books and papers away." She walked to the doors to the Academy and smiled at Toad.
