Setting down a rather older but well kept carpet bag next to brown loafers to his left, and on his right a black leather briefcase he had to stand in awe for a while. Just looking around the Entrance hall and his eye started to tabulate all the wasted money. Slowly he shook his head a bit and had to crack a smile. Some one went a little overboard in the decoration, that is all he could think as he picked up his bag once again. Draping his trench coat over his right arm he picked up his briefcase once again and started to make his way deeper into the school. His slightly longer than fashion would dictate brown hair was pulled back today as he made his way around. Honestly he should probably stop and ask for directions, but unlike most younger men he would as soon as he came across someone who looked like they had a bit of intelligence in their heads. He hoped in a school he could find someone that fit that description. "Well, isn't this a bit of interest."

Amber's ponytail wasn't holding up so well by now. It was still fairly early yet, she believed anyway. But damn Aries and his training class. She had gotten cleaned up and the bruises were starting to fade. Her body was slowly going back to normal after healing multiple injuries on the students. But now she was sore and starving. After making sure she wasn't bleeding anymore she headed out of the infirmary and started to make her way to the kitchens. She stopped when she saw the strange man roaming the halls. "Hello, can I help you?" Sure a lot of people were still strangers to her, but at least she'd seen most of them before. Amber didn't know this face so she was a bit on guard and wondered how he got through security.

Turning towards the voice he chuckled a bit as he looked the student over. "Um, yes, I am a new Instructor here and was wondering where I can put my things down, do you know where I might be able to find a member of the staff." He smiled quickly to the girl, well at least the students here seemed to be bright and cheerful, even if they looked like they just went twelve rounds with Mike Tyson in his prime. "Anyone ever tell you that bruises were something a young lady should never show my dear?" He couldn't believe she would actually walk out in the state she was in at the moment and then snapped to attention. "My Mama would tan my hide if she heard me at the moment. I do apologize it seems I have forgotten my manners Alexander Morgana, a pleasure my dear." He chuckled a bit as he gave a quick bow of his head.

Her lips quirked a bit when he mistook her for a student. She actually laughed at his comments about her appearance. "I know where a staff member is, let me go get her real quick." She stepped into the room she just came out of and walked back out again. "Hello, Amber Ryan, resident healer. I hear you are looking for the staff quarters?" She held out her hand and smirked at him a little bit. Really she couldn't blame him since she was only twenty-two, actually she found it rather amusing. "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Morgana. What is it you are teaching? Oh and it would be this way." Her head tilted a bit to show the general direction. Some of the bruises had already vanished and more were disappearing, at least the superficial ones. It was the cracked rib that was going to give her a few fits.

He should have been embarrassed, but he just found it a bit funny at the notion that this girl was a member of the staff. Well, it took all kinds right. "Sorry about that I am the new instructor for Computer Sciences." Shaking his head a bit he smiled as he headed the way her head had mentioned. "Thank you for the help, and I do apologize for the misunderstanding. New to this whole world, spent most of my life hiding the abilities that I had. Well, all besides the ones that I was trained in of course." He shook his head as he made his way down the hall. "I'm sure I could.....okay enough of the bravado of male pride, do I make a left or right here?" He was looking up and down a corridor that looked like it cost more than the American budget, he couldn't get over the waste in money for decoration that this school put up. He would really like to have a look into that bank account, maybe borrow a bit here and there for his class. Then again he might want to keep his moonlighting in check around here. "So how long have you been here?"

Amber just shrugged a bit, she was young and technically wouldn't even be out of medical school by now. "It's understandable since I'm not even old enough to have gotten my MD yet. It's the ability that got my job not my training." She just nodded at his comment about his abilities. "Trust me, I moved around more than a military brat because of my gift." She shrugged a bit and tried to act as if it wasn't any big deal. Amber smirked at him. "Right this way, Mr. Morgana. These are the class rooms. Down there is where the instructors offices are. Over there is the student dorms, and here are the staff dorms. Any idea what your room number is?" Maybe she should go see if his packet was ready if he didn't have it yet.

He smiles as he listens to her confirm it was her ability and inside he wanted to roll his eyes. In his mind he was trying to figure out why they would let someone who couldn't even handle basic first aid be in charge of the medical care of the students, but then again probably cause they couldn't find someone with the training that actually knew what the hell they were doing. Oh well, tough cookie dough as his mother would say. Of course on his face he was listening like a good gentleman should with a pleasant smile on his face. "Room number?" He had this questioning look on his face, and kinda grimaced. "I got a mental map of were to come to and that was about it." He smiled and shrugged his shoulders slightly. "So unfortunately I have no idea."

"Well I'll at least know where your class and office are. This way. We can check to see if Emma left the packet somewhere." As she passed by one of the other staff members they looked up at the man and then down at the packet in their hands. The packet got handed off to Amber and she looked at the name and nodded. "Here you go, the paperwork, your keys and so forth. So... " Blue eyes narrowed a bit. "This way to your room." She smiled over at him and led him to his room. She wondered what his power was but wasn't going to ask. If he wanted her to know he'd tell her. Her breathing started to even out again and the bruises were gone once the reached his room. "Want me to wait and give you the full tour?"

Watching the other person hand her off a packet of information he nodded to the person with a smile, and then looked at the information that was given to him. He smiled when she led him to his rooms. Unlocking the door and walking into the room he looked around all he could see was price stickers that were just symbols of wasted funds in his mind, but then again he didn't have to pay for it so what was the big deal. Dropping his things down he smiles softly as he turned around and looked right at her. "Well, this will be more than satisfactory, how about that tour now if you have the time?" He smiled brightly at least she wasn't as vapid as she looked, he would have to drop a note off to this Emma woman and thank her for the position, it was the polite thing to do in this situation. Plus, his mother did raise him right. At least as right as she could with the situations. He stepped out of the room and locked the door. Pulling a lighter out of his pocket he flicked it to set off the flame. Pulling the light out of the flame he pulled it to his finger, pointing it into the lock he proceeded to melt the door shut. "There that should keep any riff raff out of my room." he smiled as he turned around. Snapping his fingers he released the last of the light energy he still had into a collection of mini sparks. "So are you ready my dear?"

Amber arched a brow as she watched him melt the door. "You going to be able to get back in? You don't have to worry about anyone breaking in. Only best, as you can probably tell. That includes security. If you weren't supposed to be here, then we'd have known it." She had leaned against the wall and waited for him to finish. Once done she pushed herself away from the wall and nodded. "Are you hungry? I have time, I usually need to take a bit of break between sessions and I believe I have an hour or so before the next one ends." The cracked rib was nearly healed and her gait was no longer as stiff as it was.

He looked back at her and smiled, "of course I'll just melt it clear again." He smiled as he walked with her. "I could use for a spot, and I don't care how good the security is, there is a way around it." He chuckled as he made his way remembering some of his best days that he spent in his days. Offering the young lady the crook of his arm he smiled softly. "you know if I was just a few days younger you might just be up my alley." He winked to let her know he was teasing. As the two walked towards their destination he wondered were this chapter of his life will leave him. His Swiss accounts were almost where he wanted them to be at, and if he could just get the one in Cancun to catch up he would be a happier man. He smiled as he looked over some of the artwork pricing how much he could get for some of the pieces from some of his old fences from his youth. Be nice to touch base with old friends, oh wait, he was supposed to be a figure of respect here got to make sure not to ruin anything too soon. "So my dear Amber, how about you tell me about the students, any I need to keep an eye on?"

"Makes sense." She grinned at his comment about melting it back. She was glad he was hungry because she was starved. Amber put her arm through his and shook her head a bit. "To the food then. Great food here. A few days, Mr. Morgana?" She snickered a bit. Amber had always found the cheesy lines hilarious even if they weren't used for picking a girl up. But she had to wonder what it was with all the flirts in the world ending up somewhere near her. "I haven't really had a chance to get to know them on a personal level. Too busy fixing them up from their training sessions. Although, I'd keep an eye on several of them for various reasons. Attitude or crushes being the main concerns. You might have to turn the hose on a few, or at least separate them." She grinned a bit at that, it was kind of cute to watch them, even if she wanted to roll her eyes.

Thinking about it he smiles nods his head and looks over at her, "Well, I could always just temporarily blind them." he really thought the idea had merit. Looking around he smiled as he headed to food with her and was mildly surprised at the opulence of the place. "Good lord could she have spent anymore money on this palace?" He shook his head at the wasted funds and was thinking what he would have spent it on, if he was there to cypher it into his Swiss accounts. Then something caught his eye a few steps ahead, and a smile broke out across his face. "One moment." Stopping he bent down and snatched the penny off the floor. "Well, good luck for me." He chuckled a bit as he opened a small coin purse filled with pennies in different states of repair and dropped that one in. "Well, almost time to empty this into my penny jar." Smiling he once more took Amber's arm and continued along their way to the dining hall.

"That does have merit. I may need to call you once or twice if they get out of hand for me." She grinned over at him. Her head tilted a bit when he picked up the penny, she took the time to think of his question. "Oh she probably could have spent more." A small smirk touched her lips since she often wondered the same thing. Again her arm linked with his. "You think this is bad? You should see the menu. I don't think there is anything that would be considered under forty bucks a plate." She actually did price it the first time she at in the dining hall and she wasn't exaggerating. She wondered about this new instructor and what kind of man he was. He seemed interesting enough, maybe she'll be able to relax a bit before the next round of students showed up.

He shook his head as he walked into the dining room. Closing his eyes he just shakes his head a bit and sighs. "I believe the word is pretentious." Looking around he spots the menu's on the tables and sighs shaking his head. "Let me guess there is wait staff?" He chuckled as he made his way to a table and pulled a seat out for the young lady to sit into. Many things he did that people wouldn't agree with, but being a gentleman is the one that he didn't care if they hated him for or not. His mother raised him with manners and so he would use them when ever he was with people. Making sure his lunch companion was settled he took a seat across form her and opened the menu. "She doesn't charge for lunch does she, if so I think I have some peanut butter and a loaf of bread in my bag in my room."
