He laughed a bit after her quick wit. "Ah, to true, you got me there." He chuckled a bit as he thought about that. "But a nice shot of rum while you are soaking is a great way to relax stress right out of one's system. Trust me on that, but you might be a bit young to start that habit." He tipped his head a bit as he took a sip. Getting up on stage to make a fool of yourself, feel free and go ahead, but you shall be doing that all alone as far as he was concerned. He looked around and wondered what was going on and what needed to be done to get the other staff to show themselves if for no other reason for a quick introduction. He would love the chance to meet his fellow staff members, but then again maybe the fact that they are so hard to get a hold of was a sign that the students were too troublesome to deal with. He wasn't sure, but he had his thoughts.
So he sat there and wondered what kind of music she would be performing. "So what type of music do you listen to that would get you on stage for no other reason than to hang out with coworkers?" He was interested cause he knew they weren't in Asia where that kinda thing happened to easily.

"Then I don't think Morgan would be too upset if you took Bacardi into the tub. He might feel a little weird what with his slogan going around." She smirked a bit and shook her head. This was definitely and odd conversation, but fun anyway. "Twenty-two isn't too young to take a relaxing break. By now I should have been to several keggers and seeing if I could drink a frat boy under the table." She sipped her drink and sat back. She wondered if they could really get a small group to go out and have fun.
Amber tapped her finger tip to her lips and thought about it. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Single Ladies. Something fun and dance worthy." She grinned into her glass as she thought about it. "Think we could get you drunk enough to get up there and sing?" She didn't think it would happen but hell.

He laughed brightly "Keep dreaming on that my dear. A few years in the military cured me of stupidity when I'm drunk. Plus the music you would want to perform is no where near my usual jazz or blues." He sipped his water and chuckled again and got a wicked grin. "Now I thought the frat boy was supposed to be getting you under the table, hmm?" He laughed a bit and shook his head slowly as he thought about his next statement. "I'm sorry dear even at 22, you haven't experienced enough of life to really need my friends to relax in a tub. Plus, Bacardi is way too pretentious for my tub."
He chuckled as he looked around and shook his head the image of him up on stage drunk. "Maybe if I was a few days younger and a few experience greener I might be able to get drunk enough to get up there, but far from it now my dear." He shook his head again and smiled. "But even I will admit it is an interesting concept."

"Didn't say you had to sing my songs. Just get up there and kickback. But I doubt any of the guys would get up there. Though it'd be hilarious to Victor up there." That thought made her actually a laugh. Seeing the good doctor up there would be funny as hell. She snorted. "Behind the bleachers and they could try. It wouldn't happen though, I'd be laughing too hard at them." A drunk frat boy trying to get laid, would be hilarious.
She shrugged when he said she was too young. "Alright, you old man you. Too pretentious? Look around Bacardi would be perfect. But then she'd be a bit mellow wouldn't she?" This was a ridiculous conversation but it was fun. "You are young enough, you just act old. It could be fun you never know."

He chuckled a bit as he shook his head slowly. "My dear we are mistaken to mark age in measurements of time. Age my dear should me measured in experience, and I have had more than my fill in my few years." He saluted her with his water glass and looked back at her from a slanted view. "Yes, maybe Bacardi would fit in well around here my dear, but you are looking at a boy from Lexington, trust me it would be a bit out of place, plus traitorous for me to drink." He shook his head slowly as he chuckled again.
Wondering who Victor was he raised an eyebrow slowly, "Is this good Doctor Victor your boyfriend? You sound to know him pretty well, or at least well enough to find the idea of him on stage amusing."

A dark brow arched up and then she had to nodded. "You got a point there. Still you need to kick back and de-age a bit." She started to laugh at his comments about Bacardi. "Guess that's why it's always Bacardi in the girlie drinks." She nearly choked on her drink when he asked about Victor. "Oh no, he's another staff member here. Big guy all in metal and a cloak. He has a daughter that's like six years younger than me. Oh no, not my boyfriend." Actually, she didn't have a boyfriend at the moment, but she did like watching Sam.

At the comment about de-aging a bit he smiled, but he almost laughed aloud when she almost choked on his question. He did start to laugh a bit at her explanation. "Oh, I'm sorry my dear, I just heard how you talked about him and it made me think. My apologize." He chuckles once more before putting down his now empty water glass. "So shall we continue this tour and conversation as we go?" He once again smiled and kept a chuckle with held at her response to his previous question.
Rising from the table he slid his chair back into place as he made his way around the table and offered his hand to assist her rise from the table. The one thing his Mama did beat into him is good manners and he used them as instinct now. "Shall we?"

She shook her head fast enough to make her dizzy. "From what I can tell, Victor is very proper and in control. So, yeah it'd be funny as hell to get him to a club to see if he could bust a move." Although it might embarrass the hell out of his daughter. Amber took his hand and stood, then pushed her chair in. "Let's. This place is massive and has everything you could think of. The tour may take a bit, so just let me know if you want to end it and crash." She looked over at him since she knew how big this place was. It took her a couple of days to start to get used to things. "It's easy to get lost so look for landmarks." Amber laughed but she was actually serious.

He smiled softly as he tapped the side of his head, "A skill I learned was to create a mental map of any new surroundings. Something I picked up from an old partner of mine back in my days serving." He chuckles as he walked with her. Holding the door open from the dining room back into the maze of corridors. "So after you Amber, were you lead I will follow today." He chuckled a bit as he looked around and was stunned once more about the money.. he was really starting to sound like a broken record to him. He just wished things would work a bit more in his favor and maybe a higher paycheck. But if that is his only regret than he could live happily for a while.
Walking with her he chuckles a bit as he points out a door with loud noises like a TV and maybe some kind of game machine stationed within. "And that room is what Amber?" If it was some place he could relax when the students were all in bed then it would be important for him to remember how to get there.

"Lucky you, I had to keep asking people." Amber laughed and headed out the door. It was kind of cool having someone treat her this way. It wasn't something she was used to. "Maybe you could teach manners to the boys. I'll teach the girls how to suck it up and deal with it." That would be a near on impossible task in her mind. The girls seemed so bitter and the guys seemed too arrogant. "That would be the rec room. The usual hang out spot type place." She motioned to another door. "That's the training room. Those are the front doors." She motioned to the other end of the hall.

He smiled brightly at that and nodded his head. Just what he thought a place to relax when the students were gone. "Thank you for that." He watched where she pointed and made mental notes as he continued with her. He smiled a bit as he realized she made a comment about his mental map and chuckled softly. "Don't worry dear if you want to learn I'll be more than happy to tell you the secret to the process. Hmmm, maybe I should offer the Headmistress to teach etiquette to the young gentlemen of this school." He wondered about that and chuckled a bit as he motioned for her to continue the tour.
Walking with her he kept making mental notes of different routes to take to different places that he felt he might need to know how to get too. He continued to listen as they made their way around the school interested by the things he saw and the things he didn't see. Very interesting is all he could think to himself and so far he was oddly struck by things that were appearing and things that weren't.

"You are most welcome." Amber looked over at him and grinned. "Trust me, that would be a skill I would love to learn." Finally she finished off the tour and looked over at him. "This is as far as my knowledge will lead you. I'm sure there are places I haven't even discovered yet, so you can still have a bit of an adventure." Amber let out a bit of a snort. "She'd have to expend too much energy in mind control in order for them to learn many manners. There may be a few that have some, but in this day and age? I don't think so." Oh God but she sounded old.
She got him back to his room and held out her hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, and I look forward to working with you." Amber figured he wanted to get in his room and get settled so she wasn't going to impose if that was what he was wanting. He had mention of relaxing with his 'friends'.

He laughed a bit as she mentioned the amount of power she would need to teach manners to some of the students. "Well, my dear all you need to do is set a point of reference in your mind, and as you walk down corridors link other points of reference to your first, as you go you will develop a mental map of the area. Very helpful for those first few days before it is just instinct to get were you are needing to go." He smiled brightly as he was talking, cause a skill so hard was explained so simply. "It just takes practice to get it down to where you don't have to work so hard at it." He winked to let her know he understood it was easier said than done.
Looking down at her hand he took it softly and gave a firm handshake, that was softened for the delicate hand he held. "I thank you for the tour and as well am looking forward to future meetings." Bowing from the waist a bit he smiled as he flick his bic and drew off the light from the flame. Pointing his finger he defused what he had fused together earlier and opened his door after unlocking the door. A useful skill to keep his belongings safer, at least in his mind. Explain to him that some mutants can teleport and he probably would stop this habit. Yet, until that time he would probably keep going on it. "Until we meet again my fair Amber." He smiled as he slipped inside and took a deep breath before closing the door the words, "Time to get to work" were heard.
