Admin Note: Due to this character being used only very briefly, staff will allow the character to be "retconned" from site history, and the following app is open to full modification.
Name: Alex Summers
Age: 23
Place of Birth: Honolulu, Hawaii
Applying too: Genosha
In what capacity: Brotherhood and apprentice in the Magistrate
Family: Katherine Anne Summers (Mother- Deceased), Christopher Summers (Father- Deceased), Scott Summers (Estranged Brother)
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 175 lbs
Appearance:
Skills: Alex is an accomplished athlete as well as an instinctive tactician and strategist. Alex also has his Bachelors in Geo-Physics and is working towards a master’s degree.
Personality: Alex has the makings of a great tactician and leader. He is an individual that goes by his instincts to a point where one might think he is pulling a plan of action straight from his ass. Well… usually he is. He has a certain level of ambition that most probably wouldn’t guess exist in the blonde’s muscular structure. He is constantly thinking about things and situations and seems to second guess his instincts when it comes to things that aren’t concerned with the battlefield or accomplishing goals for his leader, Magneto. This, unfortunately, seems to be his downfall. The moment he starts to second guess his gut impulse is the moment that Alex’s own anxieties start to rule over him. It results in a very interesting social behavior. He can come off as one of the most arrogant of assholes one moment but then one of the most uneasy when he takes too much time to think things through. He has a nature that allows him to look at a situation and reach an answer quickly without going through the regular thought processes; seeing a problem essentially fitting together like a puzzle. This causes a great deal of frustration when he has to back track to figure out how he got his solution or when he has to explain it to people who just don’t see it his way. He gets aggravated easily with people who take too long to figure something out that he breezed through and loathes having to explain it; mainly because that would once again mean that he has to second guess himself and it’s in that process that he picks apart his intuition. He is eager to please those around him, almost excessively so. He can be a very jealous person and will go to extremes to level the playing field in his favor; another problem with being a good tactician is the unfortunate side-effect of being able to vindictively pick out a weakness and harp on it. Unfortunately, his sometimes-brash thinking tends to go overboard when he is upset. When angered, this mutant can be a very dangerous adversary.

Codename: Havok
Mutant Abilities: Alex has the ability to absorb cosmic energy and radiation into the cells of his body. This allows him to convert that energy and discharge it by heating the air and turning into plasma. This energy can be mis-interpreted as a concussive blast but is, actuality, a force that is similar to fire but to a higher extreme. Things in the path of his plasma beams overheat and shatter. This gives him an extremely destructive ability to control. He takes these energies from his surrounding environment (sun/star-light, radiation, x-rays) and store them in his cells; making him into a walking battery/heater. When he reaches the top capacity of energy storage, he finds that he has to release some energy; as it becomes exceedingly painful to story that much power in his body. The nature of his energy storage also allow him to be immune to a great deal of concussive and energy based attacks. For example, he would be able to simply absorb the concussive optic blasts of Cyclops since their power is reliant on the same kind of energy. This also makes him immune to radiation and heat.
Weaknesses: Alex’s powers are highly destructive; meaning that they are a very unfortunate thing to faced when coupled with a bad temper. He finds himself having to keep his emotions in check on a regular basis. Also, when Alex absorbs the maximum amount of energy that he can store he has to discharge; seeing as he is constantly absorbing from the energies around him. When he expends all of his reserves, it takes a full 16 hours for him to recharge to his peak; a bit of a hindrance in battle. Havok also can sometimes have an issue with controlling his output of energy when under stress, resulting in blasts that are far more destructive than his present needs. When in battle, he opts to wear a containment suit that helps regulate the flow of energy to his hands and also gauge his output.
History: Alex Summers was born the eldest of two children to Katherine and Christopher Summers. Five years older than his younger brother, Scott, he had that delicious upbringing of a single child during his initial years. Then came Scott. The initial attention had been snatched away and diverted to the newest addition to the family. Alex’s initial excitement for his brother spoiled quickly after that. He masked that resentment though and settled for being the older one who could show him everything. It wasn’t until he was fifteen that his abilities came out. Flying home from a trip to Florida, the plane that their parents were on went down. Their bodies weren’t found, but there was enough evidence of an explosion that said they died on impact with the ground. Choked with despair, Alex Summers responded in the only way he knew how.
Anger.
His abilities exploded, leveling a good part of Anchorage’s wood area a few miles outside of town. Locals attributed it to being a fire caused by reckless kids and didn’t investigate further. After all, there was no hint that it was anything intentional, nor was there evidence of a source. Instead, Alex hid his powers, not necessarily understanding what he had done and just proceeded to try and take care of his brother, who was starting to isolate himself. He worked on trying to figure out his abilities in private. Alex went through his own stage of isolation for the next six years that resulted in him pushing other people away; going to such an effort where most would just consider him mean spirited. After some time, Alex forced himself to become self involved; figuring that Scott wouldn’t open up to him anyways. Little did he know was that his younger brother was going to start having a very similar problem.
When Scott’s powers manifested, there was a sudden interest that sparked in his younger brother. Unfortunately, Alex didn’t know how to approach his younger sibling about it, having taken the role of the parent for so long. The strained attempt resulted in Scott and Alex still remaining distant from another. Hearing rumors about the “Cyclops”, further infuriated Alex; resulting in violence to those ignorant enough to say something to him about it. It resulted in a display of his own powers on occasion. However, Xavier never approached him. Instead, his own hatred for those that whispered about his brother and his aggression sparked the attention of Magneto, who approached him with the promise of learning more about what he was along with the promise of the power Alex could never accomplish in Anchorage. Going with his instincts, the blonde accepted and has been in Genosha for the last two years. He hasn’t had contact with his younger brother and is perfectly content with that at this point. In the last two years, Alex has learned an easier mastery with his abilities and is also apprenticing in the Magistrate of Genosha; taking an interest in politics as well as aspiring to strengthen the nation’s military.
