Cyclops was sitting on the sofa, wireless controller in hand and headset on his head, he had to use one of the wired head sets because the wireless ones wouldn't fit with his shades on...the game of choice tonight was Call of Duty 4. His character turned the corner and went prone, eyeing through the sniper rifle's scope, he had the perfect head shot and his finger closed around the right bumper to fire when...he was killed by a grenade launcher. Through the headset the mutant complained "Oh my god...guys, we've got some guy running around with a noob tube...I think he's got Juggernaut on as well so watch out for him..." he listened to a chorus of half mumbles agreements. He was about to track down his previous killer when the little box popped up that claimed 'connection lost with host'. Scott let out a little sigh and turned the console off before folding his arms and wondering what to do now.

"Fucking tool!" Adam laughed as he killed some prat with a sniper rifle with his precious grenade launcher. The game ended shortly later, the young boy Warlock decided it was about time he switched off his console, while there was one down in the rec room, Adam had brought one from home. Besides, this way he could use his saved data, as opposed to starting everything from scratch.
But enough with video games, it was time for a break and to talk to someone in the real world. With that Adam left his room and made his way to none other then the Rec room. There was someone on the couch facing the tv, and while Adam had an idea who it was, familiar back of the head and all that, he wasn't positive. Instead the youth just moved forward, leaping over the back of the chair, coming to a land next to Scott. "Yo Scotty, what's happening?"

Cyclops glanced to the new person entering, It was Adam Warlock....fairly decent guy with a bit of an unfortunate last name, but he seemed to get by okay. He was a bit strange but Cyclops kind of liked that about the guy, he was quirky and seemed not to mind that. Scott winced a bit as he jumped on the sofa but luckily the guy didn't hit him. Glancing to Adam he shrugged and said "Not much...kinda bored, yourself? everyone seems a bit...absant tonight, so I'm on my lonesome"

"I know what you mean, place seems empty. You wanna play something?" he asked, gesture towards the console, he himself was in the mood to play some Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe....or perhaps a little Gears of War....or Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Speaking of which, he couldn't wait until the sequel came out. That was going to be awesome.

Scott glanced over at Adam and pondered....was he in the mood for a game of something? after the noob incident on CoD? well...yeah he kinda was, couldn't get much more fun then a night of gaming, but he did want a little bit of activity. So he shrugged and said "Well....what about Rock Band? I could do with a bit of activity after codfor. What you think?" looking at Adam he wondered what he thought, he supposed the game was one of those things you had to be in hte mood for. Couldn't just pick up and play it like Halo or Gears.

"Well....okay...but I got dibs on the guitar." Truth be told he wasn't very good at anything else. But on the guitar....he kicked a lot of ass if he did say so himself. "Which song you want to start with?" he asked, stepping off the couch so he could get the stuff, was rather annoying to set up and put away, but not so bad during the actual play.

Scott nodded to Adam, he could take guitar if he so wished, Getting up he went to a cupboard where the space taking instrauments were kept. He went to the cupboard and dragged out the guitar and the space taking drum kit, he did like to sing....but decided not ot put Adam through that tonight. "I'd say go One Step Closer first, something easy...to begin with before we start cranking out Master Exploder. setting the drum kit at the appropiate height he smirked and said "Let's do this"

Adam took up the guitar, and loaded up his character. He was awesome, a long white jacket rockstar version to a trench coat, rockin black leather pants and some big ole'fancy boots. The character was rather Arian, tall, long blonde hair, blue eyes. Pretty darn arian. "Sure, sounds cool. Let's hit it." he replied, he had to stand up for Rock Band, so he could properly rock out.

Scott tapped on the drums to load up his band member, normally the guitarist he had decided to go a bit out there with a tall skinny character with big brown and purple metal hair complete with colourful face paint and spandex trousers.
"Okay...let's do this... he drummed out a quick drum solo before the song started. "Okay Adam...let's see what you can do..." he looked at the colours starting to approach the screen he started to bash the drums and press the peddle as he asked the question "You play this game much?"

"Put it this way, I've played Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld. Ain't played it in a while though." he informed, the song that required one to play through an extremely long playlist to unlock. It was very boring by the end.
Rockband was probably something it was better to help a friend buy, and as such have a stake in, cause then you could play when you were around, but didn't have to host the damn thing and play every time someone else wanted to play. It could get boring, luckily he hadn't played it in sometime.

Timmy and the Lords of the underworld eh? good song...sort of, hillarious the first few times but he found it quickly became a bit annoying...after all there's so only so many times someone yelling gibberish can be amusing.
For a moment or two Scott was silent as he focused on his playing, he knew late on in this song there was an elusive hammer on that he just had to get. When he'd successfully done it he went back to the repetitive motion of the song and said "Cool...not bad man, should stick a band up sometime. Who knows, with a bit of practice the X-men could hit the leaderboards

"I don't know man....this game gets really repetitive after a while. I don't think I'd want to play so often. Once in a while suits me for now." he informed, continuing to play, often trying crazy things like spinning around or putting the guitar behind his head and playing, it often caused him to lose a few points, missing a bit here and there, but the way he saw it, he was getting style points.
