Kira walked down the streets of New York. She was just heading out to get a bite to eat. Tori was sick so she had been commanded to stay in her bed by her mother and Kira till she got better. So Kira was alone since she had no other friends.
She was lost in thought and wasn't watching her surroundings or the people that were near to her. One minute she was in her own little world the next her purse was being snatched from her arm. She looked towards the culprit as he took off across the busy street and into an alley, nobody seemed to try and stop the guy but of course it was close to dark so there really wasn't anyone out. Kira took off running after the guy, as she ran across the street she had to stop many times to avoid being hit by cars but ended up making it across the street safely. She headed into the alley and found the man going through her things.
"Hey that's mine." she stated making herself known. The guy looked up a little frighten at first but when he seen her his fright turned to a big grin.
"You know you should have just let your purse go." he laughed as he took a few steps to her. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife. He started making his way closer to her, his smile growing.
"You've messed with the wrong girl." she glared. Standing up tall she took in a deep breath, once her lungs were full of air she took a deep breath and screamed. The vibrations from her power caused the trash can and trash bags to fly down the alley. The guy clutched his ears and tried his best to keep his footing but the power was to powerful, he flew to the end of the alley and hit the wall. He dropped and didn't get up, smiling proud at herself that her this power came in handy.

Dean ran up the sidewalk wheezing for air as he is nearly panting. His Hood and gloves were a bit too much to be running around or away from someone in. He stopped at an alleyway gasping for air and looking back to see if he wasn't followed. He then heard a scream a little faint though due to his hood hiding his head. His ears wear nearly blocked from the sound but it was high and loud enough for him to hear it normally. He then ran in the ally where the scream had came from as he yelled"is..every......thing OK?" His voice still exhausted from the chase. He stops to see a girl as he still gasps for air. It is at least nice to have a moments peace from what he just witnessed. He thought to himself " first my toothbrush then My spit and another freak show in the store. What is happening to Me?" He looked at the girl once he caught his breath good enough and said "I heard screaming."

Still smiling Kira picked up her purse she looked at the man still on the ground. She felt a little short of breath from that but she'd be fine. She now felt a little bad but not to bad because he had pulled a knife on her. She started to walk over to him to check to see if he was at least alive. But she stopped when she heard someone coming down the alley towards her. She started to panic she didn't know how she was going to explain this but she was going to have to come up with something and she couldn't hide him because she didn't have enough time. She turned when she spotted a hooded figure coming towards her. She considered screaming again but didn't. "Uh yea...this guy pulled a knife on me." she sighed. She turned and looked back at the guy on the ground. She closed the distance between her and the man on the ground and placed her two fingers to his neck to feel for a pulse. She knew she shouldn't be turning her back on a stranger but she could handle herself. She felt the pulse and pulled her hand back then turned back to the hooded man.

"well seems like you handled yourself." He replies as he looks in back o him still checking if he has been followed. He turned to face he and says" well I better be on my way and you should too." He didn't want to seem too weird but he just ran from a telepath and still is or should be. He still doesn't want to see someone else in this chase but himself.

"Yep." she nodded her head. He was looking behind him as if he was making sure no one was following him. Kira didn't question it even though it wasn't normal but maybe he was just paranoid about being in the alley. She only nodded her head when he said that they should get out of the alley. Kira wanted to get out of the alley as well, she was just a little creeped out. As she started to walk to where she entered but a hand wrapped around her waist an a blade was pressed to her neck. Looking out of the corner of her eyes she spotted the man she had knocked down he wasn't smiling anymore he had an angry look on his face.
"What did you do to me, my ears are pounding. Your some kind of freak aren't you?!" he said quietly in her ear. Kira couldn't use her powers because he was behind her. She could easily elbow him but he had the blad pressed to her neck. "Your life's about to end here." he told her. Now she was scared, she was going to die, the hooded boy couldn't do anything to save her.

Dean watched as the thief quickly snapped up at her. Dean then held in a huge glob of spit in his moth and spit it upon the thief's face without thinking. His spit quickly turned to ice as his breath went with it but for all he knew he could only spit ice. The ice froze upon the guys face like a mask.
The thief let go of Kira surprised at what happened and freaking out at the same time. He held his face trying to get the ice detached from it. He tried to scream but his lips were frozen together so it was only a murmur threw the ice.
Dean quickly punched the thief in the face as soon as Kira was out of the way good enough. the thief landed on the floor hard as Dean's eyes opened wide in shock. He then asked himself"what is happening to Me?" In a whisper so no one else can hear him.

Once the thief let go of Kira she ducked out of the way. She stood there a little shocked as she watched the thief try and pry the ice away from her face. She looked wide eyed at Dean after he had punched the thief. Well at least she knew she wasn't the only one with powers. She stood there behind him. She wasn't sure what to say thank you or tell him that she had powers just like him. Sighing she stepped up beside him and looked down at the thief who was now on the ground.
"Thanks for saving me, i thought he was down the first time after getting an earful but i guess i was wrong." Kira stated. "I'm Kira McKnight by the way." she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes.

Dean snapped out of his shock and looks at her. He then says "the name is Dean.."He looks back down to the guy as he thinks to himself "so I am a freak and also why isn't she running?" He stands there in a daze

Kira stood there biting her lip. Dean was probably wondering why she wasn't afraid of him or anything along those lines. She was surprised he wasn't asking her why she wasn't afraid. Scratching the back of her head she looked back down at the thief before turning and looking at Dean. "That scream you heard earlier, that was me. I'm like you, i have a sonic scream that's why he was on the ground when you showed up." Kira blurted out.

"like Me?" Dean asked in a distorted voice. His sight remains on the thief as he says " I am a freak show." He sat down near the trash can once he thought that he was no longer being chased. He bent his knees to his face as he held his legs close to him using his arms. He then repeated sonic scream?" In a voice not too different than when he stated like me. It seemed ever since he moved here his life has turned into some sorta freak valley. He was scared but at the same time confused.

" Yeah like you but just different power." she shrugged. She watched as he went and took a seat near the trash can. She stood standing, she felt better standing up ready for anything just in case. She heard him say sonic scream and she nodded. "I'd show you but it's kind of loud." she chuckled lightly. She went and leaned against one of the walls and looked down at the ground.

"So You are a freak as well"Dean says as He looks to the ground. He repeats to himself in a whisper "just like Me?" He still is shocked and doesn't know what is going on. He starts thinking about what happened at the store today.

Kira crossed her arms over her chest as she raised an eyebrow at Dean who was staring at the ground. Yes she knew she was a freak but she didn't want to hear it from other people. Yeah she was different because she had powers but that didn't mean she wasn't the same old Kira. She looked up at the sky and noticed it had gotten darker. She needed to get home soon or her parents would flip and she also had to see how Tori was doing. "I say we get out of the alley before someone else shows up." Kira suggested to Dean.

Dean nods as his cell phone rings. It was a message from someone unknown. Which was strange because no one has ever been able to pull off an unknown message that He knows of anyway. He read it silently as he stood up with his mind made up. He then says to her" well keep yourself out of alleyways. Its dangerous." He walks away slowly still with thoughts racing in his head but the biggest question remains" what is he?" That question was the most important question of all.
