When not wearing her costume of sorts, Anya likes to wear just regular ol casual clothing like jeans and t-shirts. But her clothing always has her favorite little critters on them, spiders.

Skills: Anya was training in gymnastics and carries a bola of her own invention. She uses it to grapple things and swing between buildings.

Personality: Anya is a fun loving, passionate, young lady. She enjoys hanging with her friends and just chilling out most of the time. She’s easy to get along with and is always outspoken on issues. Anya also has a bit of a wild side. She likes to battle crime at any time, and of course isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Even though she fights crime, occasionally she still likes to create a little mischief with her friends though nothing that would be considered an actual crime... except maybe trespassing or drawing graffiti on other’s property. Anya will stand up for what she believes is right and defend those that can’t defend themselves.

The Mutant

Codename: Araña

Mutant Abilities: She has superhuman strength being able to lift up to three tons and superhuman agility. She can run up to a maximum of 30 mph. Anya also has superhuman stamina and reflexes which allow her to react to things 10 times greater than the average human. She can wall climb and leap long distances of 25 feet. Anya’s skeleton is incredibly flexible, and she can conceal herself in tiny cavities. She can create a blue exoskeleton carapace at will. She can control the thickness, coverage and shape of the carapace using it as armor. The carapace is strong enough to withstand projectiles like bullet fire and even small explosions.

Weaknesses: When using the carapace as full body armor, contact with water leaves her unable to breathe, forcing her to retract it leaving her vulnerable. She also can still be harm by normal means.

History: Anya was born in Fort Greene, New York which a part of Brooklyn. She was a bit of a rough child, always getting into fights in school over stupid stuff like people picking on her. She wasn’t the time of girl to just let that all blow over. One boy in particular by the name of Bobby Jones used to really tick her off all the time. So one day she decided to take matters into her own hands and fight the boy. They were to meet up by a bridge to do their fighting, but when she got their there was already a fight going on two organizations. One called themselves The Sisterhood of Wasps, the other was known as The Spider Society.

Somehow, Anya was drawn into their battle which resulted in her becoming badly injured. Thankfully though it was this action that triggered her mutant powers to become active. With her new found abilities she helped fend off the attackers. As a thank you for the help, a man named Miguel offered her work with the Spider Society which was a group of crime fighting humans and mutants. Anya began working with the Spider Society helping to keep the city safe, in secret, from the Waps clan. But sadly everything went wrong one night for her.

In a battle between the two organizations, Miguel, the man that recruited her was killed in battle. After that day, Anya decided to leave the Spider Society and start fighting crime on her own as a vigilante and try to return to a normal life as a teenager. Today she is still fighting crime to protect the people of New York and trying to finish High School as mutant teen.
