Emma would have liked a more concrete answer. Most of her staff were dependable and stable. It was the main reason she hired most of them. But she didn't want to harass him on his vagueness. Emma would soon learn more than enough about the man sitting infront of her.
"Well that is one thing that a school filled with mutant adolescents can't get enough of." she commented with a small sigh, "Anything else we need to go over. " she said. Emma mentally made a list in her head of all the things she wanted to say to him. Most people thought the blonde did whatever fancied her, but that was untrue. She planned and schemed more than anyone she knew. However her means were less than more conventional.
"Well I already told you about your probationary terms. Rooms, well there are a few spare dorms in the staff hall. They are quite nice. You can move into one of them once you leave here. " she said while sitting back in her chair and thinking of the other points to talk about.
"I will create a sign up for the students that would like to take your class and if you'd make a syllabus for my records, oh lets say, in two days yes that should be enough time. Are there any questions for me that you have?" Emma asked.
Interviewing new staff members was always annoying for her. She liked to offer the position to the ones who she saw. It was more work, but it usually reaped better rewards than if they came to her.

Maybe he should have given her a bit of something more, but honestly he wasn’t sure what he had to offer. ”I’ll understand the kids, especially the boys a lot better than most would. Part of me is still believing I’m eighteen and invincible. The part of me that doesn’t want to grow up. It’s a bit more tempered now but I’ll be able to be someone those teen age boys can come to when they are trying to figure stuff out.” It was the best a guy like him had to offer at this point in time. He didn’t was still adjusting to civilian life as it was.
Duncan nodded. ”Thanks for opportunity, a room would be great, you’ll have your syllabus and what not by tomorrow evening and I think for the moment I’m pretty good where questions are concerned. Although I may have several later on, namely how to make the kids show up to class.” He flashed her a grin and winked at her. It was habit and he meant nothing by it. Probably not the smartest thing to do to his CO but then Duncan wasn’t really one to always do the smart thing.

"Ah well I see. Thank you for coming to speak to me directly" she said with a light tone. Emma knew that this would all work out in her favor. It surprised her that he winked at her, but it wasn't something she thought was entirely inappropriate. Emma knew that sucking up was always a dirty way to get on the boss's good side.
"Have a good day and don't hesitate to ask for anything." she added with a smirk.

Duncan stood and nodded to Emma. ”Thank you for the opportunity.” He gathered up his stuff and started for the door. He had been effectively dismissed and couldn’t wait to get out of there. He had to find a room and set it up and then he was good to go. He paused at the door and turned to look at her. ”Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Frost.” With that he slipped out and went in search of his room.
