“They do?” Pete exaggerated a thoughtful expression and rubbed his chin, “Hmm, I’ll just have to slam the next door in your face to it even up in that case. Best not wake the dead and all that.” He likewise stopped and momentarily glancing left to look for traffic before correcting his gaze to the right. He hadn’t still lost that habit despite having spent several months in the US now, and always had to remind himself of the road differences.
With little to no traffic the journey across to the Car park was pretty uneventful, it was over almost as quick as it had begun. He nodded his head in the direction of the Waffle house, once again letting the woman take the lead.

Morphia opened the door for the both of them and walked in after Pete had cleared the door way.
The waitress nodded to them as they entered and Morphia took a sit in the back corner. Habit from all those last nights on tour when they wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible. Which was very hard to do seeing as Gilgamesh would constantly draw attention to himself. "You said you were just passing through Georgia, can I ask where your heading?"

Pete slid carefully into the seat opposite the Asian woman, palming one of the menus scattered on the table in front of them as he did. Not that he really had any intention of actually reading it, he’d learn a while ago that these kind of places rarely differed much when it came to what’s on offer. “Where I’m heading? Here and there mostly, not really looking to head to one place in particular, just wherever my job takes me I suppose.”
While he still couldn’t place where that name had stuck in the messed up chasm of eclectic information that he called a memory, Pete couldn’t exactly go spouting off why and where he really was heading. ‘I’m hunting for information on a pack of genocidal mutants, what about you?’ wasn’t exactly on his list of icebreakers to say to a complete stranger, no matter how attractive they maybe.
