Emily Linton-Davis stood at the entrance gate to a school she hadn't really thought existed. She really had thought Xaviers was the only school to help mutants. She pursed her lips and pressed the hailing button on the gate. "I'm here to meet with Victor VanDame." She said, her Irish accent thick.
Today she was wearing full Boston Red Sox apparel. She'd just left the game and her mind was still reeling on that win. Out of all the things she'd gotten from Dr. Strange was a love of baseball, only she had gone for the Sox instead of the Yankees, probably just the Irish in her.

When someone mentioned to Victor that someone at the gate was looking for him, he could only roll his eyes. Many people wished for an audience with Von Damme! Regardless, he had half an hour before his next class. He moved to his office, took a seat and placed a finger on the intercom. "You may enter, my office is the first on the left when one rises the stairs." he announced, his armour giving him a visual from the Academies security feed, some little brat.

The blonde girl smirked as the the gate opened and she mad her way in. Through the front doors she followed his directions up to the office then saw the door. A mass of anxiety grew in her chest. What if this Dr. Doom couldn't help her? She clenched one fist and reached out for the door handle and opened the door gently. "Dr. Von Damme... I'm Solaris... I need your help." She said it, she got the words out, as much as she wanted to blast his head off for ruining her life she got it out she asked for his help.

"Yes, many wish for the aid of Von Damme, but what is it that has brought you to me?" he asked, it was probably money, most people wanted money. Perhaps she had a genuine concern or issue, but he was a highly busy man, what could she offer him in exchange for his services?

"You probably won't believe this. But what I'm about to tell you is true." She sighed and looked at him hard. "One of your machines sent me here, from another time- and maybe even another reality." The young woman's Irish accent was thick and she couldn't believe she was sitting right here in front of this arrogant, pompous bastard who would have been her husband if she hadn't woken up. "And I want to get home."

While the story was indeed an outlandish one, Victor knew that if anyone could make such a thing happen, it was of course him. But could he prove such a thing happened? Even a simple lie detector or even asking one of the telepaths to look into it could prove everything. "Perhaps you should tell me your story in full." he replied, sitting back into his chair for now.

Emily didn't wait for him to offer her a seat. She pulled back a chair and sat down. "I was born born nearly fort years in the future." She calmly said looking him over. "With out mutant powers... when I turned eighteen, I became a student under Dr. Steven Strange." Solaris felt a little strange actually telling some one this, she'd been keeping it a secret for so long. "Under his tutelage I came to Latveria to stop you from making a weapon... but the weapon infused me with these mutant powers. When I first got them my memories were erased but my power level was about the same intensity as the sun." She was going to wait to see if he was believing her before she went on, the next bit would probably be a shocker for him.

Von Damme was listening, if her story was true, she must have been sent to stop him when he was in his eighties, if not older....nearly a hundred considering her age, give or take a few years. Still, he just sat back in his chair, hands forming the church steeple shape in front of his face. "Continue." was all he said, needing the full story before he could make any decision on anything.

She took a deep breath. "The powers, we meant for you. They were going to recharge your body, heal you of your age in that time." She pursed her lips. "But when I got them by accident, you had to alter your plans, instead you began to rein me in, you intended to marry me." Emily felt silly telling that part, like she was flattering her self or something by thinking men wanted to marry her, Hell even Darius didn't want to marry her and he was dating her back in her own time. "You were going to use these power through me. To further your reach on eastern Europe."

"Marry you? A child! Von Damme is already married to the love of my life! Your story shows its holes already!" he snapped, his eyes showing on obvious degree of annoyance. Von Damme would not marry her for such a reason, it made no sense, what would marrying her achieve if she had already stolen what was supposed to be his? T'was maddness!

Emily stood up from her chair eyes blazing with the solar energy in her body. "I don't give a damn about what you are here and now my story is true and I just want to get home!" She said angrily. She didn't figure he'd believe her story, she didn't even care if he did or not she hadn't come here with the intention of him applauding her courage and good faith in finding him. She came because she wanted to go home, to be with her family and teachers again. "God, coming her was a waist of time, I should have known you were to daft to undo your own mistakes, if you couldn't get my powers back from me, then I should have known you couldn't get me home."

"How dare you come before me? Von Damme and take such a tone! I did you a favour just by seeing you and you tell me this story of time travel and marriage, get out! I have no more time for such ridiculousness." he informed, rising from his seat and pointing towards the door, his voice letting her know he was in no good form.

Solaris took a deep breath and stared at him hard a long for a moment, her eyes literally blazing. "I'm not going to beg you." She said sternly and quietly, trying to keep her anger in check. "But I'm not taking no for an answer. I want to get home, to my own time, to be rid of these damn powers and be back where I belong." She exhaled through her nose. "You can put me through lie detector tests if you want, you can have a telepath search my mind, I'm certain that what I'm saying is true. I just thought you could help."

"Perhaps Von Damme should pull out the lie detector one always keep in a closet for a just in case situation, you should be aware we are quite busy in this academy, I have no interest in bothering people at this time to attend to your dreams, return tomorrow when and I shall be after speaking with one of the telepath's and organise a quick telepathic session." That was the offer he would put on the table, and Von Damme did not compromise! But still, with his intellect even time travel was not an impossible feat, and with mutant abilities, anything was possible it would appear.

Emily looked at the man with a look of triumph. At least she'd gotten him to see her again tomorrow. "What time should I be here?" She asked, one hand finding it's way to her hip.
The down side was that she'd have to get a hotel tonight, although she'd expected it, and thrown more than just money and snacks in her bag. She had that extra set of clothes, they were a bit nicer than her game clothes too. "You'll know I'm telling the truth tomorrow." Solaris informed still mildly defiant.
