Jordan caught the gauze, stared half-hartedly binding her hands, then shrugged and tossed it back to Bender. "That's okay, it won't make a difference." She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her cargo pants and managed to not wince. "Yeah, I'll eat." She said, last time she'd eaten was... yesterday. Deffinatly food was sounding good.

Bender caught the gauze and put it back in her bag. She was going to have to get a new first aid kit or at least refill this one. She tied off the strap for now so she could sling it over her shoulder and damn near forgot she couldn't toss it over her right one. With a growl she switched gears and tossed it over her left. "You know where the food is?"

Jordan couldn't help smirking a little. "Sorry about the bag... and the shoulder." She said, sencere but making sure that Bender knew she wasn't going to get another appology. It wasn't usual for Jordan to appologize at all. "Yeah, I know where food is." She tured and started walked the way Bender had been going. "So, what is it you do?"

Bender gave a one shoulder shrug. "Just don't touch my gear, and I'll forget about it. I've been injured before." She rolled her neck and her shoulder to test the tenderness. The girl followed the other red head and thought over her question. "Right now? I travel." There really wasn't much more to it since she had no idea where she would end up and what she would be doing. "Other than looking for a fix, what do you do?"

"When you say 'fix', I assume you mean my own persional kind." She said, voice light but dark at the same time. "Because I've never touched... er, used actuall drugs." She'd touched them, she'd carted them. But she hadn't used them herself. "I play vigilante, get drunk, try to escape my life..." She trailed off, realising how bad that sounded.
"I meant though," She said quickly, "What is it you do?" She pulled a bloody hand out of her pocket and flashed a black light over it, quick enough that she wouldn't feel it.

"I meant your own personal issue." When she started going off about what she did Bender tried really hard not to roll her eyes. "Don't try to use me to escape it again. If you want to drink and be vigilante that's your choice." Her eyebrow quirked as the light passed over the girls hand. "What was that?" When the girl asked her what she did she looked over at her. "As in mutant ability? I calll it earth bending." Bender head into the diner when they finally got to it and went to find a table. If the girl didn't follow it was her own choice.

Jordan paused at the door, one eyebrow cocked as she watched Bender walk in. She didn't usually go inside places like this, but that wasn't why she hesitated. Jordan wasn't really sure she should keep following Bender. But the thought of being able to hang out with another mutant won her over and she followed Bender inside.
She nodded at a waiter and slid into one of chairs in a corner. "So... like earthquakes, digging graves, the like?"

Sara sat down and gave the waiter her drink order and looked over the menu. She wasn't going to answer the question until the guy left. When he finally did she looked over at Jordan and shrugged. "I'm not sure yet. I'm still trying to figure it out." Her eyes turned toward her arm that Jordan sliced. "It's a burn, slice wound right? I mean, I'm going to have to tend it for a bit and will have a scar?" Not that she cared about the scar or even the injury. She just wanted to know what happened to her.
(I hope so because I'm kind of using the injury in another thread, lol)

Jordan nodded, Bender's power's must've manifested recently. She knew her's had shown themselves early. Jordan nodded slowly as she mentioned the wound. "Yeah, it's pretty much a burn wound. With all that goes along with that." Scar, itching, the like.
(lol, I'm using her bruises)

Sara looked at her shoulder again, though it was covered and nodded, trying to guage how big it was. At least this one was on the right side, where as the one along her waist was on the left. "Good to know. I know how to tend it now." The young girl started to look over the menu trying to decide what she wanted. She decided on the chicken fried steak meal and set the menu down. "Order whatever you want, I got it covered." Maybe if the girl got a decent meal in her it would help her to not hate the world so much. At least for tonight, but Bender wouldn't bet on it.

"Good luck. Hope you have better luck then me." She said it without looking at Bender, without emotion. But she couldn't hide her bitterness at saying the words. Using her finger tips, she flipped the menu open, scanning it quickly. It wasn't that Jordan didn't have money, you could lift anything if someone was drunk enough, but she rarely stopped to actually eat a meal. "You sure, I'm not watching my figure?" She asked, changing the mood and flashing a smile in the dim dinner. Jordan just decided to order a couple (three) hamburgers and raised her hand to flag the waiter down.

Bender arched a brow and it was apparent now since she had removed her cap when she walked in. "It won't be a constant thing for me though. You have to deal with it every time you use them. I just have this one time." At least that made sense to her. But she had her answer and that was all she was looking for. When the girl questioned on whether she was serious or not, Bender just looked at her. "Let me put it to you this way. I don't offer unless I mean it. If I didn't want you to order the menu I'd have let you know. If you are hungry enough to eat three full meals then order three full meals."

Jordan raised an eyebrow, anger flashing in her eyes. It wasn't directed at Bender though, it was defiantly an old anger. "You think I don't know that?" She asked. "it's polite to say good luck. What I'd like to say it f*** you for not having to live with it for the rest of your life. F*** myself for doing this to me. F*** my mom for being a wh*** and having a kid she didn't want." She still wasn't looking at the other mutant girl. "But thanks for the meal, I'll remember that." She said both comments in the same tone.

Sara watched the girl and started rubbing her forehead. This was not what she was wanting or looking foreward too. When the girl started going off on things the former cadet looked right at her. "Your life's shit, I got that. If you want to keep bitching about it and drawing attention to us I'll be more than happy to walk out of here right now. I'll even be decent enough to leave money to pay the bill. Right at this point your life doesn't suck very much you're getting a free meal of any damn thing you want. Like it and quit bitching about it." That being said she looked up when their drinks were brought and she slid her straw into her soda and took a sip.

"You started it." Jordan said softly, sucking on her lip. She wasn't usually like this. But something about Bender... she couldn't seem to keep her barriers up. She ignored her drink, staring into nothing. "Look, I'm sorry." Jordan said softly, slurring the words. "I know I'm a bitch. That's how I am. But a free meal won't make up for all of it. Not ever." She lapsed into silence. Jordan just needed to think. ANd it was the last thing she wanted to do.
