Personality:
Lorna Dane is the least likely of her two siblings to be as publically available, so when she does present herself, it is a pretty big deal. Most times Lorna prefers to attend to things alone or in small, controlled groups. Her desire to be viewed as a successful heiress to Magneto plays a pivotal role in a lot - not all - of her decisions, which naturally brings her into a sort of contested discomfort with her sister; Pietro, she accepts, will most likely be granted control of Genosha unless he does something foolish. Naturally this leaves Lorna to view Wanda as a place holder for second, a position she craves in order to appease her self-confidence and desire to please their father.
On the outside, Lorna is a lot like her father. Of the three Lehnsherr children, Polaris is said to be the closest to a spitting image of the Master of Magnetism, even without the powers. This only fuels Lorna's desire to fulfill her ambitions, but furthermore it grants her a sort of special status among those in Genosha; like father, like daughter. Lorna wastes no time using this to her advantage, quickly establishing social and political connections inside and outside of the island paradise, showcasing that natural drive she inherited from her paternal. Rumor has it that in the event things fall out of plan for the Mistress of Magnetism, a coup will be attempted, but nothing has been confirmed. For the time being, Lorna remains at her father's side in whatever manner he needs, which at the moment is to be one of three in the Triparte Genosha Council.
Finally, like so many in Magneto's present, Lorna is proud of her abilities. However she prefers not to use them carelessly, something her brother is the exact opposite of in agreement with her, and instead likes to conserve her powers, making them count. This is in stark contrast with many, but at the same time shows her keen detail and perseverance to being as meticulous as her father. Lorna also demonstrates slight bouts of emotional instability, primarily from her control of electro-magnetic fields, fields which are capable of housing the deceased. It has been said this may explain Magneto's own mental health, but nothing can be confirmed or denied.

The Mutant
Codename:
Polaris
Mutant Abilities:
- Magnetic Field Manipulation: Polaris has the primary ability to manipulate magnetism. Although she has the potential to exercise all of the powers that Magneto has, as yet she has only used powers involving the manipulation of magnetic, electrical, and gravitational fields. Moreover, she has yet summon as great an amount of energy as Magneto has. The exact limits on the amount weight that she can magnetically lift at present have not been measured. Since she has, in the past, preferred not to use her powers in combat situations, and has decades less experience with them, she is not up to par with Magneto's level of experience. Despite this, Polaris has demonstrated the ability to block out telepaths with her electro-magnetic fields. As with Magneto, it is unknown whether Polaris's powers are purely psionic or whether they derive from her physically.
The main feat made possible by magnetism is Polaris' ability to lift and manipulate metal. She has shown such fine tuned skills as to nearly liquefy, mend, and reconstruct metallic objects, and has some level of influence on the ferrous metals that reside in everything. She once mended and reconstructed silverware and metallic plates into a metallic suit identical to Magneto's costume. She has also rendered a mass crowd unconscious by reversing the flow of blood in every individual by controlling the natural iron in their blood. - Magnetic Force-Fields: Polaris can protect herself from physical harm, can stretch her fields to protect a large group, and can suspend persons or objects in the air.
- Magnetic Flight: Polaris can suspend herself in flight by riding the Earth's magnetic field.
- Electromagnetic Sight: By concentrating, Polaris can perceive the world around herself solely as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. She can perceive the natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings, as well.
- Magnetic Pulse: Polaris can focus her magnetic energy into powerful concussive blasts. She can also overload or short-circuit electrical systems.
- Energy Absorption: Polaris has been shown absorbing some forms of energy through her magnetic force fields to temporarily boost her own strengths.
Weaknesses:
- Magnetic Field Manipulation: As stated earlier, Polaris lacks the decades of experience that her father does. This naturally makes her electro-magnetism weaker in comparison.
Also, the less metal in an object or individual there is, the more difficulty Lorna has manipulating it. Objects such as sand, plastic, and wood, while possible to lift, would require tremendous amounts of effort and are primarily a waste of time.
Her electro-magnetism is able to protect from multiple energies, but has no defense against magic and the supernatural. Logically a significant amount of force, like the Juggernaut, could easily penetrate her defenses.
Finally, injure or exhaust Lorna, her abilities suffer as a result. Totally dependent on her physical condition to wield her electro-magnetism, Lorna can be shut down if harmed by surprise or sheer force. - Magnetic Force-Fields: Again, a significant amount of force, like the Juggernaut, could easily penetrate her defenses.
- Magnetic Flight: Without any magnetic fields around to manipulate, Lorna is unable to lift herself. Also, mutants with the ability to control gravity would give her a harder time, possibly even preventing her from taking flight.
- Electromagnetic Sight: Simply put, others with the ability to control their own bodies or electro-magnetic fields can become "invisible" to Lorna's spectral vision.
- Magnetic Pulse: Depending on the amount used, most energy shields should be able to deflect or cancel out her magnetic pulses. Individuals like the Juggernaut could, naturally, continue running once in motion.
- Energy Absorption: While there is not set limit on the type of energies she can absorb, there is certainly a limit on how much she does. At the moment, Lorna is capable of absorbing energies for roughly one hour, provided they are not enhanced or massive, in which case her absorption capabilities drastically decrease.
The boost enhancement she receives is nowhere near Magneto's levels, and are of very little significance. Naturally the amount she absorbs determines the boost she obtains.
History:
Lorna Lehnsherr's history is not too known. Outside of the fact she is Magneto's daughter, making her the fellow sibling of Pietro and Wanda, her history is limited. She does not remember her mother for one. This is probably to Lorna's benefit, as to anyone who is associated with the Mistress of Magnetism.
Born in Vinnitsa, Europe, the young Lorna was raised under the Master of Magnetism's thumb. Guided by Magneto's personal beliefs and lore, Polaris would quickly become a practical replica of the eldest Lehnsherr. Naturally it only increased the stakes for Lorna, who sharing similar powers, wanted to become the one who carried on after her father.
As she grew, so did her abilities and potential, something that she hoped would make her the apparent heiress to Genosha. Unfortunately, Pietro and Wanda existed, which made it a bit problematic for the young and ambitious woman. However Polaris would wait, using what she had learned and experienced, hoping to make an impression soon enough.
With the loss of Genosha, Polaris also let slip through her hands one opportunity. However, Apocalypse's attack did grant her a second chance, one which is responsible for the Mistress of Magnetism not joining her father on Asteroid M. Suspicions have run rampant, but many just chalk this up to being Lorna, as she remains on the ravaged planet.
Her relationship with her family is strained, as she feels most of them failed to stop Apocalypse's attack. While she did her best to repel, exhaustion set in and Polaris was forced to vanish for a while. In her time of absence, her abilities have remained the same, only they've become more powerful and less taxing on the body.

Rak, rak, rak~!
Enter Lorna Dane, better known throughout the world as Polaris. Daughter of the Master of Magnetism, sister to Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, and aspiring heiress to power. None, save maybe her father, could understand the turmoil that surged throughout her entire being. The desire for power, is only nature's way of reminding me that this... all of this shall belong to me. These thoughts mimicked her father's own, about how mutants were superior to man, and that one's own ambition was a sign of their intention. Lorna Dane believed this, so much that she was willing to do whatever it took to ensure fate did not choose another.
Rak, rak, rak~!
Particles and pieces of metallic alloys took to their sky, encircling the Genoshan Princess, similar to knights with shining armor standing guard over their royal duties. "Father..." she spoke, softly but with a firm assurance to the future. "... what you do not know..." Those assortments of metal came to her opened right palm, formulating and becoming a miniature image of Erik Lehnsherr, a statue in its own right. "... will not hurt you."
Squ-Urt~!!!
No longer needed, Polaris crushed the homage to her father.
"Like father, like daughter."
