Personality:
Adam is quite basically, a nice guy. He doesn't go out of his way to bother other people, he just wants to go through Xaviers, get his studies done, make a few buddies, learn to control his powers and live a nice happy life. He's not out to rule the world, become president or anything huge. He does, however, like to be a hero, usually only in his games, but as a mutant he realises he's got abilities that could let him be the 8th level Knight he's always wanted to be.......

Mutant Abilities:
Adam Warlock possesses a number of superhuman properties and powers derived from his enhanced genetic structure. His bone and muscle tissue is denser than human, endowing him with superhuman strength and resilience. He is capable of lifting fifty tons and can run at nearly one hundred and fifty hundred miles an hour, with reflexes capable of catching a bullet (albeit, one he was expecting). His cells are constantly absorbing and storing cosmic energy, which he can manipulate for a variety of effects, including augmenting his physical abilities to higher degrees, projecting energy (in the form of beams and shields) & flight.
Adam Warlock is also capable of creating a regenerative cocoon in order to prevent death, to recover and heal himself, or to simply rest after an outgoing event.
Weaknesses:
Adam's powers themselves do not have many "weak points" per say, his physical attributes increase his ability to deal out and take damage, and has no real drawbacks and his energy based skills allow him to use them so long as he has some in his reserves.
His appearance is something of a weakness, as the less cosmic energy in his reserves, the the more blue his skin turns, this is an obvious give away to anyone aware of it, that he is running out of energy, making a bluff impossible. Regardless of how much energy is in his reserves, Adam cannot leave the mansion without some form of image inducer, having golden or blue skin causes him to stand out in public.
Any telepath would also be able to pick up on his insecurity on such an issue, and could use it against him.
History:
Adam was born and raised in Georgia, America. His youth was very normal, he was a happy-go-lucky child who did many normal things, socialising, stepping on bugs, hunted the christmas presents when it came to that time of year. His father was a scientist of sorts, and showed Adam pictures from the lab, it was interesting, but little caught his attention the way television did. Adam would spend hours in front of the box watching all sorts of shows, but he's favourites were Conan the Barbarian and Dungeons and Dragons.
As he got older, Adam wanted to be something of a fighter himself, so at ten he enrolled in Tae Kwon Do classes, going every week for a bit of practising, then later showing his friends what he had learned and tried passing his (self-proclaimed) amazing talents on. After reaching puberty, Adam started to develop what appeared to be a strange skin colour, and was gaining weight with no visible signs as to why.
Luckily, his mutation developed at a very slow pace, but it was still very awkward for the youth to move about in public, looking like he weight 160 pounds, and actually weighting over double that, not to mention his skin. People stopped believing it was body paint when it started looking too natural. He was constantly in and out of hospitals, but a cure for what was wrong could never be found. One day a pair of gentlemen arrived at his house, a Charles Xavier and a Erik Lehnsherr. They spoke to the family about their school, and how much they'd love to help Adam with his special needs, it was not until they arrived in Xavier's that Adam learned the full truth of mutants. But for the last six months, Adam has been living in Xaviers, being a student and a New Mutant.

Much has happened in the last five years for the young Adam Warlock, he's finished his high school level education in Xaviers and started a college degree in the physical science's. Most importantly however, his first and so far only love (at least, so far as non-elf women go) Marie, otherwise known as the Hellion powerhouse Tarot have become engaged, and she is currently carrying his child.

Adam was wearing his wizards hat, because he was a wizard, a mighty wizard at that too. He was Adam Warlock, the Battle Mage. Did he find it humourous that his last name was Warlock and he called himself a mage? Darn straight he did! T'was the whole point. But now, he had mutant haters to deal with, his back was against a wall and there was a few of them. He didn't want to hurt them....he had to use the weakest spell in arsenal. His hands started to glow as he prepared his cosmic energies, a smile appearing on his face. He shot forth his hands and let a series of energy bolts blast forward.
