Skills: Davis is an excellent surfer and when not in the water, he's just as good on a skateboard. He can also hold his own in hand-to-hand combat.
Personality: Davis could be described as somewhat of a slacker. He would rather just lounge around the house than go do any work. Surfing and skateboarding are like the main two things that wake him up in the morning. He loves looking good for the ladies and considers himself to be a ladies man. Davis is pretty easy to get along with and enjoys life and having fun. He doesn’t take everything too seriously and knows how to have a good time without over doing it. Davis a pretty nice and caring of others, always willing to lend a helping hand… just as long as it doesn’t require to much effort.

The Mutant
Codename: Slipstream
Mutant Abilities: He can generate a portal in the fabric of space and ride the resultant warp-wave like how a surfer rides a wave. He uses this ability to travel to virtually anywhere on Earth at faster-than-light speed and can bring along others through the portal with him. While on a warp-wave, Davis' vision narrows to a pinpoint focus directly ahead of him to better allow him to safely transverse it. While traveling along the warp-waves, Davis can even coat his skateboard in the energy and use it to better guide himself.
Weaknesses: Davis can still be killed by normal means and his personality can sometimes get him into trouble. When teleporting more than one person or a heavy object, he must focus more and be making some kind of contact with the thin or it could end up in a completely different area. When under high levels of stress and trying to teleport, it’s possible for him to get ported to the wrong destination.
History: Both Davis and his sister Heather were sent to live in Surfers Paradise by their father because he wanted them to be safe and free from his life as Viceroy, godfather of Australian organized crime. Unaware of their father's identity or latent mutant powers, Davis became a surfer while his sister became a lifeguard. When Heather's mutant powers came through she kept them a secret from Davis and only used them to save lives as part of her job. After their father was kill by someone named Lady Mastermind, the two of them soon became targets so they wouldn't be able to inherit his money.
Heather was forced to reveal her powers to help fight off Lady Mastermind and her group of goons. Soon after the attack, Davis and Heather found out about their father's identity and his involvement of the crime gang war going on. The two of them ventured out to try and help stop the carnage but doing so lead to Lady Mastermind capturing his sister. Davis was so upset at this, his dormant mutant abilities awakened allowing him to pinpoint her location and rescue her from the danger.
In order to escape their father's criminal life, the two of them traveled to America where they could live in peace. Shortly after arriving in the states, a woman named Emma Frost approached them and explained who she was and told them of a place for people like them. Davis was glad to hear this while Heather wasn't completely sure. He decided to join the school while Heather opted to just live a normal life on her own. Now under the tutelage of Miss Frost, Davis has taken on the codename of Slipstream and trains daily to get better with his powers.
After the defeat of the Sentinels that attacked Washington, Davis had a long talk with his younger sister Heather. This was how he found out about their heritage, that their mother was Shi'ar. He wanted to know more about this, learn what he was truly capable of doing with his powers. The decision to leave was made easier when the girl he loved broke up with him. Davis was able to locate his mother whom he'd thought was dead his whole life. With her aid, he made it to the Shi'ar home planet of Chandilar.
Davis spent the next four years on Chandilar learning of his heritage and improving on his skills and powers. He even did some growing up, taking on a more serious attitude. The year 2015 is when Davis finally returned to Earth only to find it war torn by the mutant Apocalypse. Feeling the need to protect again, he returned to the Massachusettes Academy taking on the role of a teacher and mentor.

"Woooo!" shouted the young Davis Cameron as he cruised through the streets of Boston on his beloved skateboard. The surfing scene wasn’t that big here, so the next best thing to do was skate. He weaved in and out of traffic, blazed past pedestrians and zipped along the road. Davis was having the time of his young life right now and nothing could stop him. Well almost nothing. He was starting to get so caught up in his fun that he almost didn't notice that a large semi truck was speeding right towards him. Ther driver honked his horn to get the boy's attention.
The loud hunking of the horn did in fact alert him to the incoming danger. Instead of panicking like most people would do, Davis grinned, tucked his arms back and pushed right towards the truck. He was playing a game of chicken with an automobile that could flatten him in a second. "How ya like this one?!" he asked. The wheels of his skateboard began to become engulfed in a blue energy, soon the whole board. Davis laughed as the same blue energy opened up into a portal in front of him. "See ya!" With that, Davis sped into the portal and vanished from sight as it closed up, the truck zooming right past his former location. A few seconds later, another portal opened up and out spat Davis with a laugh. He landed on the street then continued on with his daredevil like skating.
