Surprisingly, he didn't want to get into trouble tonight. He just wanted to sit back and enjoy a few beers with an old friend. Really he was hoping for no trouble tonight. "I've missed you too, man. It wasn't any fun without you around anymore. Honestly, I'm glad to have gotten out though I'm not sure I will fit anywhere else in this world." Duncan took another pull off his bottle and sighs a bit. "They aren't going to leave this alone are they?" Alex knew he was talking about the boys who were getting antsy.
Duncan leaned back and finished of his beer. "Tell me about the violet haired beauty that's caught your interest. How many times am I gonna have to ask?"

Looking around slowly he just reached behind himself and put the standard issue on the table in front of him. He was looking at the nearest group of boys and made sure they saw what he put there. Smiling to them he tipped his head to them slowly before turning back to Dunk. "Sometimes the most direct approach is what the situation is calling for, cause I don't really feel like getting into a bar fight with you slipping out the nearest door." He chuckled remembering once or twice that had happened in the past. He thought about Duncan's question and shook his head slowly. "I don't know how to really describe her, besides for the fact that she is a beauty and a bit of a mystery. She's British you can feel that old world air around her at times, but her look is Asian. So yeah she got me at a weak spot. So I'm not really sure how else to describe her, but as a bit of a mystery."
Finishing his beer he looked over at his friend, and chuckled a bit. "I'm sure you'll fit in here at the school since it is a great place to kick back. Just don't take very much seriously when it comes to most of the staff from what I can see and you'll be fine." He chuckled as he went to take a sip from his bottle and shook his head. Flagging another waiter down he ordered two more on his tab, and looked back to his friend. "So the old job sucked these last few months and you don't know about the new one yet. So, lets just see how the night goes."

Duncan followed suit and his own side arm was put on the table. ”I actually am not looking for a fight tonight or to get laid. So yes the direct approach is the best approach.” He looked toward one of the girls coming toward them and shook his head indicating they weren’t interested. Then he turned back to Alex. ”Damn you are screwed a sophisticated Asian mystery. How badly has this women thrown you for a loop? Pretty bad from what I can tell. Glad it’s not me my friend, glad it’s not me.” Alexander was always the one to get more attached to the women then Duncan was. Hell Duncan didn’t even have one of those stories of a woman that broke his heart. He’d never given his heart to one and he be damned if he ever did. They demanded too much and gave too little back.
”What are you trying to get me to not take too seriously? It has to be pretty bad if you are afraid I’ll have an adverse reaction.” Oh God what if it was like boot camp with all those stuck up judgmental little shitpukes? ”Might as well see what happens. Since I have no fucking clue how this will all turn out let’s just forget about for awhile.” He took another drink and sat back. ”How’s civilian life treating you?”

He looked at his old friend, and winked a bit as he pulled his standard issue out from behind him and rested on the table top. He was looking at the closest group of the teenage boys that seemed to notice him with the piece in his hand. He turned back to his friend and tipped back his beer. “Who knows right now there isn’t much to tell? She’s a looker, but we both know that only goes so far with me. It might be a bit of old world charm that she seems to have, but then again I could be way off base with that as well. So don’t ask me about that right now cause I don’t have an answer. Let’s just drink and talk about the good old days. “ He went back to drinking his beer until he realized this one was empty. He waived down a waiter walking by and ordered two more and twelve shots. “I feel like getting commode hugging drunk tonight man. Care to follow?”

If the young studs ruined tonight he was going to be pissed. He turned his head and gave them a hard and cold stare, his own gun next to his hand. His mind was already calculating where to shoot to cause the most amount of damage without actually ruining their lives. They were so damn lucky he wasn’t in uniform. His attention turned to his empty beer bottle and then his friend. ”Right no talking about the hottie until there is something to talk about. You better talk to me about when there is something to talk about.” Duncan acted like he was thinking about it, then he smirked. ”Is there any other way to get drunk? Line ‘em up and we’ll take ‘em down.” He just hoped the pretty boys didn’t get in the way of their little reunion.

Out of all the times he could remember drinking with Duncan he could actually only remember drinking more than him twice. Tonight might just be the third. One shot after the next he couldn't help himself it just tasted so damn good, and there were a lot of things he wanted to keep buried tonight. Looking over at Duncan, "I'll tell ya if there ever is anything to talk about. Other than the way her breasts fill out her top that is." He shook his head, and if he could think straight would realize that he might be getting a bit more hammered than he had planned too, but hell he earned it every once in a while.
Getting extremely annoyed with the young guys cause they just wouldn't seem to leave them alone, he seemed to forget about the gun on the table and pulled out his lighter. Flicking it three times before he got the wick to catch he smiled as he started to draw in the flames light power. "Maybe I should see how much they want to be center-stage spot light." He was grinning cause he knew one thing, they would end up like ants under the magnifying glass if he did, but right now who gave a fast flying...............

Duncan would have smirked at his friend comment about her top but he was a bit concerned right now. I looked like Alex was going to out drink him and that was unusual. His head turned as he looked back at the boys and then arched a brow at Alex. ”You really want to go there?” Just to be safe Duncan slid on a pair of shades he pulled out of his coat pocket. No sense in not being prepared, just in case. ”We are going to get kicked out of here you know. Won’t be my fault this time.” He thinks about it for a minute. ”Go for it. I won’t be my fault this time.” Duncan was never one to actually hide who he was so he had no problems with Alex flaunting his powers.

Closing off the lighter he sighed as he took the next shot and looked at his friend. He wasn't going to be the one that got them in trouble. Since he was always the one getting them out of trouble in the past. Looking around he sighed as he finished another round and looked up at Duncan. "My friend things are getting interesting I might just out drink you tonight. Maybe it will be me leaving you in the middle of a bar fight." he chuckled knowing it wouldn't happen, but it would be funny if he did.

Duncan knew he wouldn’t do it. Alex wasn’t the type. He nearly choked on his drink at that threat. ”That’s not funny and you know that wouldn’t happen. We’d both slip out maybe but you wouldn’t leave me here to get my ass kicked. It would take all the fun out of you doing it yourself. But you want to go find another bar?” The guys were starting to get on his nerves since he hadn’t even done anything yet.

Looking across at his friend he had to start laughing at the look that came across his face at the threat. "yeah your right I wouldn't leave you here to get your pretty face beat in. The women at the school might lynch me if I did." He thought about finding another bar and shook his head. Pointing to the sign saying that 'Teenagers had to be out by 8 o'clock and seeing how it was already 7:49 he didn't see a reason to move. "Why let them get the hell out and we can go back to enjoying out time before we are back on the clock." he saluted with another shot glass and downed it before grabbing a second and polishing that one off too. Yeah, it hadn't been the best couple of months for Alexander, and he felt like getting commode hugging drunk. "I spent $1500 on a leather bomber jacket. What the hell was I thinking?"

Duncan looked back at the sign and nodded. ”Then we can really get down to business.” He watched his friend slightly concerned since he seemed to want to out drink Duncan tonight. Looks like he was going to have to be the responsible one. Nah, not gonna happen. He nearly choked on the shot he just took when Alex said he paid $1500 for a jacket. ”I didn’t know your wallet would open for something so frivolous. What possessed you to do that?” That was something Duncan did not Alex. His concern for his friend grew.

“I don’t know, it’s a nice jacket, but $1500 god only knows what I was thinking.” He took two shots back to back to try and get the taste out of his mouth. He always got this way after a large purchase and right now this was as large as he made in a long time. He nodded his head to getting down to business and started to drink as fast as he could get the shot glasses into his hands. Looking over at Duncan he shook hi s head slowly. “You know the problem with drinking like this? I just don’t seem to get wasted as fast as you do.”

”You are really messed up in the head. Spending that kind of money, mind fucked over a girl you don’t even know, and trying to out drink me.” He wasn’t really joking though most would think he was. This wasn’t like the Alex he knew and he wondered how much of it stemmed from this woman the man kept thinking about. ”Why do you think I’ve slowed myself down? You need this more than I do man. I’ll stay sober enough to get you home and me back to a hotel.” It was the least he could do for the one of the few people that never gave up on him no matter how bad he was.

Looking over at his friend he shook his head slowly and smiled. "I picked up the jacket cause it actually has an old patch from our old battalion on it. I am not mind fucked by Betsy, at least not yet, and I was getting rip roarin drunk cause a good friend I knew showed back up in town and I thought we needed to have a good bender before I send him to work in the Salt Mines of Education." He shrugged a bit as he looked over at him, and got an evil grin. "But if you think you don't need the drink now, you will after the girls all start showing up looking like a Britney Spears impressionist convention." He smiled as he picked up the next shot and slams it back.

Duncan just watched him for a minute and nodded. ”Alright alright sheesh, let’s see if I ever worry about you again.” He smirked knowing damn well Alex knew he wasn’t serious. He took another shot and looked at him. ”Why? How bad are they? What didn’t you tell me before I agreed to this gig?” He was being set up! He just knew it. Alex has been waiting years to get him back for the trouble he got them into and the hell he put his former CO through. He groaned, he should have known better it was too good to be true. Alex had been too quick to tell him about the school. ”Oh you bastard.” He muttered as he took another shot.
