Bobby couldn’t help but grin when that damned smirk crossed Kelly’s lips. It was still infectious and the X-man was still finding himself just a bit dumbfounded by the expression. She took a step closer and this time, Bobby didn’t bother to throw up his defenses. His brow arched and his own lips tilted into a half smile. “I wouldn’t call them stupid. Just not into popsicles,” he scoffed slightly. A bitter pang of truth behind that statement that was veiled in sarcasm. He didn’t say anything more about it.
There was certainly a reason why the girls weren’t calling other than a new meaning to freezer burn. Bobby was, essentially, a distant jerk. When his guard was up he had no problem saying things to get people to stay off his case and even out of the room. For some reason though, he couldn’t necessarily bring himself to push this girl away from him too. He looked down at his sneakers before looking back at Kelly. “I’m more trouble than I’m worth,” he said simply before he hopped off his desk and rocked back on his sneakers. “So when are we going out?” he asked bluntly; testing to see if she was serious.

"Oh no, they are stupid. There are always ways around issues. You just have to want to find them." To prove her point she turned around slowly so he can see her dressed warmer than would be normal. "See that's the problem with girls today. They just assume everything is going to be handed to him. But then you have the few of us, like me, who are willing to find the loopholes and work for what I want." Because he was in cased in ice? Pffft. Like that would stop Kelly if she really wanted something.
Kelly was now standing toe to toe with him when he stood up. Her head tilted back and she smirked up at him. "So am I. Maybe even more so than you." Blue eyes sparkled up at him. It hadn't been the first time and won't be the last. A blond brow went up when he asked when they were going out. "Tomorrow night works for me." She went on tip toe and kissed his cheek, and whispered in his ear. "Don't think you could handle tonight."

If Bobby weren’t trying to save some sort of face, his features would have been spattered with an expression of complete perplexity. Was she for real? He didn’t flinch this time but his brow remained arched while his own lips maintained its slight smirk. He looked down at Kelly, partially kicking himself mentally for doing all of this and also a bit curious as to how she could possibly be more trouble than him. It made no sense. He would find out.
He felt that warmth briefly on his cheek and his smile became only a bit more mischievous. “Oh ye of little faith,” he shot back at her whisper. He took as step back to get a good look at Kelly. “I can handle anything you throw and then some.” He walked passed the blond and went for the door. “Meet me by the pool tomorrow at seven. We’ll see just what we can handle.” He started to make his way to the hallway before turning back around. “Oh, don’t forget to bundle up.”

Kelly liked that mischievous smile on his face. Her brow arched and the sparkle in her eyes matched his smile. ”I don’t think you can handle me, Bobby. But it’s going to be fun as hell watching you try.” Her head was tilted back so that she could look up at him. He was at least a foot taller than her if not a bit more. A smile tugged her lips and she winked at him. ”I’ll be there. Just hope you are ready for it. I can be a handful you know.” She leaned against the desk and watched him head for the door. ”Oh trust me, I’ll be bundled up and I’ll be cutest damn ski bunny you’ve ever seen. If you are lucky I might flash you a little leg.” Winks at him and hops up on the desk and slips her sweater off, she’s wearing a tank top underneath. ”Need a kiss for luck for tomorrow? You might need it.”

Bobby smirked from his place in the doorway with a ruthless smirk on his features. “Oh the game is friggin’ on now,” he warned with what could have almost been a cackle. His arms crossed his sweatshirt-clad chest and he couldn’t help but think that maybe this all could be some form of good. He knew that there was still that omen in the back of his head that screamed that this blond was trouble. Kelly was dangerous and there was no way that he could deny that he liked that fact.
“Don’t need the luck,” Bobby retorted with a smirk and a nod. “Save it for tomorrow. Heh, if you’re lucky I might give you some sugar myself.” He snorted before shaking his head and caught her taking off her sweater. “That’s only if you don’t run away cos you can’t handle the cold, though.” Was he actually talking smack in regards to some sort of semblance of a date? He wanted to just shake his head at the idea.
