Xavier sat in his chair in the grounds, he was rarely out of his office but today he decided to sit in the sun. Classes was on so he had plenty of time to relax before the students came out. Sometimes it was nice to enjoy the quiet because with the number of mutants now at teh thriving school he rarely got a chance to hear it. The birds sang and the sun was warm on his bald head, he better make hte most of it as winter would soon be here to ruin his fun.
It was strange then, for him to sense an unfamiliar mind approaching, he steeled himself, wondering who it was as he wasn't expecting any guests. Rolling himself towards the gates he waited for them to approach and to find out who was coming to him, the signiture seemed familiar to him, but slightly different...he felt as if he should knew it but it was alien to him.

It was Cable that was on his way, it was time he approached the X-men, no man was an island and all that, besides, a one man army can do a lot more when he's with others, it makes two armies. So in an old, cheap car he bought in a straight cash deal, the traveller from another time.
As the car pulled up, he wasn't surprised that the famous Charles Xavier was already waiting, his only wonder was how long had he known Cable was in their time zone? He stepped out of the vehicle, no guns hanging off him, he didn't think they'd be needed today. "Professor Charles Xavier, my name is Cable."

An old car approached the mansion, not exactly a grant entrance by any means but Charles knew to look beyond appearences. Some of his students who looked teh weakest had the powers of Atom bombs. The man seemed kind enough, at least he was polite to offer himself an introduction, perhaps a mutant? but no...Xavier approached people, not the other way around. For a moment he was worried that the school's secret had slipped out.
He knew though that it was unlikely to be the case, this...Cable, perhaps read one of Xavier's books on mutation and had come to see him about a problem he was having...although that was still very unlikely "A pleasure...Cable, was it? As you already said...Professor Charles Xavier, what can I do for you?"
