Emily Linton-Davis felt like she was going to a custody hearing. Today she decided to dress a little classier than she had when she'd first went to see Dr. Von Dame, she wore her hair back in a bun and a black turtle neck sweater with her nicest pair of jeans. She'd been sure to pack some nice things just in case it took more than one day- which she was sure it would.
So Dr. Von Damme had set up a meeting with a telepath since of course he didn't believe her that she was from the future, and that he'd given her these powers, and that he was going to try and marry her to wield them. But then again she wouldn't have believed herself either if she was in his position. And on top of that her dad now had super sonic hearing and was pissed at her for 'lying' to Dr. Doom and didn't believe they had the same last name and was being a total jerk to her. It all made her want to cry.
Walking into the building she made her way to Dr. Doom's office and knocked on the door. Hoping they wouldn't have to wait long fore very one to assemble.

Honestly Emma couldn't be bothered to pay any attention to this girl, Solaris as she went by, but she though it was a matter that she should address. After all this girl claimed she was from the future which could be a lie or a ruse to get someone's money or attention. Emma was only interested to find out that she was Alexander's future daughter.
Emma let out a sigh as she made her way to Dr. Doom's office. She was surprised to find the girl in question already there- in more moderate clothing that she was in. Frost had worn a haltered top white dress with blue trim. It was short enough to show off her legs and the part between her bust just made the dress.
"Emily, I'm assuming." she said with a casual tone.

Von Damme was in his office when the knock came at his door, it was early, so he had quite an idea as to who it was, the supposed time traveller, which he later on learned she appeared to have the precise double barrel name as the languages teacher Alexander, former member of the Brotherhood.
"Enter." his voice boomed to the person on the opposite side of the door, before placing away some papers he had been reviewing. Someone was going to be sitting a pop test again.

Emily nodded to the woman in white. "I see you know me. But I'm not sure we've met." Solaris figured this must have been the telepath, but she seemed to have a bit more of an important role in the school just by the way she strolled right in.
"Good morning Dr. Von Damme." Emily said politely. "I'd like to first apologize for my outburst yesterday, I was angry. I felt you were being rude, but that was no excuse for me to speak so harshly to you. I trust you'll find out today what I'm saying is the truth."

"Emma Frost, headmistress." she said with a curt nod to the girl, Emily. Emma walked into the office and gave a kind smile to one of her teachers. This was going to be intersesting. playing the mediator would be a new one for her. Usually she was the one in the confrontation.
The blonde woman took a seat on Dr. Von Damme's desk and waited for this little shouting fest to start. Emma yawned slightly and snapped her attention back to the task at hand. Those bad dreams were really getting in the way of her beauty sleep.

"Emma." Von Damme nodded as the Headmistress entered. Her appearance was not always appropriate in his opinion, but then again, she was an attractive American woman, what else could he expect?
He turned his attention back to the young woman. "Von Damme accepts, now let us start. Ms. Frost shall enter your mind, and discover your origins, so we can solve this little business once and for all." Von Damme informed, hands forming the church steeple shape as he sat back into his chair.

Emily nodded and sat down in the chair. She was used to having her mind entered by others, Dr. Strange and her former boyfriend Darius would do it often. But then again that was completely different that this now
"Do I need to do anything in particular?" Emily asked Emma. Relaxing her shoulders and trying to clear her thoughts of anything that could get in Emma's way of finding the truth quickly. Which considering she thought of her family and past/future life often it meant Emma shouldn't have much trouble.

Ms. Frost gave Von Damme a reassuring look and placed her hands on Emily's temples. Emma's face went blank as she integrated her mind in with Emily's. Once the telepath was in the girl's mind, Emma relaxed and sorted through the memories. Emily was telling the truth about one thing -she was Prim's daughter. There was something about this girl that was different. She was indeed a mutant, but it didn't seem that she naturally had the x gene. Emma dug further into her mind, trying to find the answers she was looking for. Emma didn't want to know about this girl's boyfriend from the future.
Emma tried to make her presence unnoticeable to the girl, but she knew what a telepathic feel was. She didn't want to leave any damage. "She is telling the truth about one thing. She's from the future." Emma blinked.

Behind his face plate, Von Damme raised an eyebrow of surprise, she was from....the future? And by her claims, it was Von Damme's development, but Emma had said she told the truth about one thing. Had the rest been lies?
"Anything else?" he asked, still sitting back into his chair, his head already racing at the possibilities of a traveller from the future, how would the economy continue? What major events had taken place in the world. So much to wonder.

"I'm telling the truth about all of it." Emily said taking a deep breath trying to clear her mind. "Just take a look around. I used to having psychics in my mind."
The Mutant girl felt a shiver go up her spine this was it, she was finally getting the truth out. They were going to find out once and for all she was serious, she was telling the truth and she was going to get to go home. That was the important thing.

Emma's mind danced through Emily's as she uncovered more meaningless details about this girl. All Emma wanted to know was if she was lying to Doom about their future marriage and her artificial powers.
"From what I can see, Emily is telling the truth." Emma said while retreating from Emily's mind. It was quite interesting learning about the future from her. There were somethings that the White Queen would definitely bring up to his Lord Imperial. Emma gave the girl a small smile as she regained her composure.
"I'm glad you weren't lying ." she said gently. She didn't want to say what could have happened if Emily was lying. It would have been disastrous.

Von Damme sat back, this was most interesting indeed. A child from the future. "As it would happen, I cannot send you home, for I have not cracked the secrets of time travel. Unless you came back with pieces of the puzzle that may aid me to unlock it." he asked, wondering just what else she knew.

Emily's chest swelled with pride when it came out that she was telling the truth. But her heart sank quickly when Von Damme said he no way of sending her home. "You never told me anything about how your machines worked..." The blonde girl felt so deflated. "What should I do... I just want to go home! I haven't seen my parents since before you kid-" She was going to say kidnapped but given the situation she should probably be kinder- which was the last thing she wanted to do for him. "since I got these powers."
