Hayley sat in the Rec room, with Sally by her side. The two were never seen apart, and Hayley hated to imagine what life would be like without her. Still, she knew she had to make friends sooner or later, and maybe if she spent some time in this place, she could get to know the other students? She wasn't one for just popping into other conversations, so she decided she would just wait. Keeping her hand behind Sally's ears, she scratched them gently, much to the delight of the husky.

Kathy was walking down the halls of the mansion with her hands in her pockets and decided that she should to to rec room to watch little bit of T.v. for awhile. When she walked inside she froze when she had saw the dog it was the first thing she had saw when walked inside of the room. She was terrified of dogs for some reason and she started to shake and her ears went back as she squealed and she backed away quickly that she stumbled over to ground.

Sally's ears perked up as she made a low sort of whining noise. Hayley looked down at her closest companion. "What's up, Sal?" Sally made another low whine and sort of pointed with her face in the direction of the girl who looked alot like a half-cat half-human. Hayley smiled at her appearance, and now knew why Sally was a little unsettled. Patting Sally on the head, she called over to the girl who seemed to be mortified by the dog.
"Hey, it's alright. My dog's name is Sally, and she won't hurt you."

Kathy looked up towards the girl but keeping her distance from the dog with her ears folded she was still kind of frightened it was an phobia of hers. "....Are ...you ...sure....me is scare of dogs...."She said as she stood kind of shaky as she boldly stepped forward towards them with her eyes trained on Sally. The dog seem friendly enough and she tried to to smiled as looked " Me is Kathy or Kitten if you like who is you " she said kind of twisting her tail little bit.

Hayley could only help but let out a faint laugh as the girl, now known as Kathy, told her she was afraid of dogs. She imagined it had something to do with her mutation. "She's the most loyal and beautiful husky you'll ever meet. Isn't that right Sally?" Sally's head turned to Hayley, the tail wagging as she licked her companions face; which caused Hayley to laugh and brush off. "My name is Hayley. I'm new here." The problem with Hayley was, she never really did learn to be considerate of other people's feelings and often spoke her mind when it wasn't really the intelligent thing to do. This very problem occured now as her curiosity got the better of her. "So...do you look like that because of your gifting?"

One she knew as Kitten, but the second she did not. Investigation provoked, the X-Man went to check it out and upon rounding the corner spotted saw Hayley and Sally; girl and her dog. " Mighty fine canine ya got there, don't supposin' it be 'cause'uh havin' a good owner.," she joked, obviously acknowledging the dog looked well and healthy. But more interestingly, Kitten seemed to actually not be freaking out, at least not in a manner Paige believed a feline-esque being would. Waiting for Kathy to respond, Paige awaited curiously. She'd wanted to know that as well, but wasn't just going to up and ask such a thing.[/font][/ul] |

Kathy looked towards Hayley and then smiled and nodded little and tried to smile ." its nice to meet you Hayley and yes she is a nice looking .." she paused and looked towards Sally and smiled softly " Dog....." She was trying to keep calm the best she could. She didn't want to make a fool of herself. When heard her question about her appearance being a part of her mutation and then nodded towards " Yes it is ....." she then looked towards Husk who just walked into the rec room and then looked back forward towards Hayley again ".if you don't mind me asking what is your power ?" .
