The woman was running with a girl dragging with doggy ears her away from a church quickly the kid was struggling against her screaming " let me goooo.. please miss.....". She looked towards the kid for a second and then sighed. She said in softly "...kid Listen i am not going to hurt you i am just saving you .... " She said while looking back quickly as to check if anyone is behind as she gripped the child hand tightly.She heard someone and quickly pulled them into alley and hid and tried towards the darkness.

He was enjoying his weekend and heading back for Monday when he heard something weird not too far off. So classic him Spidey just had to go find out what was going on, staying out of sight and crawling across a building. Watching as two figures came running out, he would have reacted when he heard the kid screaming to be let go, but for some reason he just decided to follow them and see what was going to happen. He had to chuckle as the person dragged the kid into the alley. All he could do was shake his head, yeah take her into an alley in New York, talk about home field advantage.
Once she was in the alley he webbed down behind the woman and where the kid could see him. Winking at the kid he held up a finger to his lips letting the kid know to be quiet. Staying there and watching the woman he finally decided to let himself be known. "So can I ask what you are doing dragging a kid around at this time of night in New York?"

Brandi quickly spun around and looked towards the man in the red and blue costume and jumped in front of the kid protective and then her hands charged with electricity "....nothing that considers you ...back off..costume freak ..." She was frightening the child who was already been though a lot coming from the church she had a bad reputation for killing mutants . She actually heard of Spiderman but she was being careful . She was actually ready to fight him as she stared him right into the eyes.

He looked over at her and was so tempted in trying that whole behind you trick. But he was going to be good. Looking down he wanted to cuss, he preferred the black and white suit, but we all do with what we have. "So you gonna answer my question or am I going to have to play twenty questions?" he looked at the kid and made a quick webbing animal for her to play with. "You know you should let the kid rest a little before you try running again."

Brandi stared towards him and raised a brow and lowered her hand slowly and then looked towards child and brow " i was protecting from the evil people at church her mother sent her there the preacher and her was going to her " she watched the kid and nodded and sighed "....alright then ...i will ..." She leaned against the wall and sighed little "...you know not many of you heroes had let me explain myself before.. I thank you for that "

Shrugging a bit he looked over at her. "What they tend to want to revoke my superhero's license if I don't have all the facts." He looked at the girl and the woman. "So you are trying to protect her, protect her from what?" He was curious now if that meant anything. He might just be late for class tomorrow. He hoped Sage wouldn't be too mad at him, but then again worsts things have happened.

Brandi nodded little bit little bit about superhero license which she didn't have one she refused to even get one. She had noticed she had forgotten to finish her sentence and nodded little bit " well they were going kill the poor kid ...i had to do something .." She shook her head and sighed knew this is kidnapping even though she was doing something really noble but she is still committing a crime.

He thought about it for a while. So either way she saved the girl's life and some might say she kidnapped the girl. "Don't worry, if it can be proven her life was in danger, then there isn't a court that can convict you. And that's only if you get caught." he looked over at the girl and the woman. "Wait here for a second." Webbing off he swung over to a street vendor that owed him a few favors.
Webbing back with two hot pretzels he slides down the wall and onto the street. "Here you two eat these, they aren't much but it should keep you going for a while." He looked over at the mouth of the alley. Looked up at the moon and then back at the woman. "Name's Spiderman, what's yours?"

Brandi sighed and looked towards and took the pretzels and has it over to girl she had saved " thank you and Yea ...i know that but i prefer the cops not catch me at all and a lot of reporters would actually like to get a blurred photo of me or me ruining their camera with my powers "She meant it was almost impossible to take her picture or capture even though he just manage to catch her off guard. she then nodded when he had said his name. She then looked towards after taking a bite ". Nice to finally meet you ....and my name is Brandi Cypress but call me Spark

Looking out over to the alley mouth again he nodded his head slowly. "Pleasure to meet you Spark, sorry about this, not being fresh or anything." Grabbing the girl and Spark he takes a running start and leaps up firing a web line and quickly turning the corner with a second line. It was a bit odd holding onto two people while web swinging, but he was getting the hang of it. Behind them the police had started filling in the alley. He had to keep these two out of grasp of the police they wanted a shot at escaping. Getting up to a rooftop he looked over at the pair.
"Sorry about that, didn't think you were on friendly terms with the police."

Brandi was taken by surprise when she and the kid was lifted from the ground and taken to a rooftop and then looked down towards where the police were now and frowned little bit. She then looked towards Spider-man and the nodded little bit " its quite fine Spider-man ......and yea....the police are not exactly my friends...."

Looking over his shoulder he was sure one of the cops spotted him, and J.J. was going to have a field day with this one even if he didn't supply him with the photo's. Watching everything he looked back at her and raised a thumbs up. "Just thought you might need a fast way out." Leaning back he looked at her and wondered why he believed this woman was helping the girl. Then again he decided that maybe it wasn't his place to know. "Listen, do you know how to get out of the city?"

Brandi looked towards spidery and sighed little bit. She wasn't sure why he seems to he trusting her and she looked towards the child she just saved for second and though for a bit. She being an outlaw the cops are always after her and right now the cops have catched up to her and she didn't want them finding the place where she send the children she saved from these evil parents. " you know ...how about you take this kid somewhere safe ..."

He thought about it for a moment and shook his head slowly. "Give me a minute and I'll deal with the cops, you two run and get out of here. I'll catch up later." Waving to her he headed off towards the cops and decided to lead them on a merry little chase. He was good for something after all and chuckled as he launched into the line of police. Didn't take them long to go after the wall crawler, of course it would have to be the group of cops that hated him so it worked for his benefit. He hoped that the lady Brandi was able to get that kid away he would lead them as far as he could, but he was going to keep an eye on everything from the sky with his tracer he slipped on the little girl.
