I should be rocking out to my IPod right now.
The redheaded young girl scowled at the thought. She could have been somewhere much more lavish than the rooftop of a grocery store and that somewhere would have a thermostat, then she wouldn't have to be so dang cold. However, despite the fact that she was so reluctant to drag herself out in the cool night of the City of Lights,Patsy Hellcat had a reason to cast aside her typically posh nights. Somethings simply weren't acceptable in her seventeen year old mind and what Hedy, her most notable buddy and rival (yes, they had an odd relationship), had gone through the night before was one of those things.
Those crude animals were going to pay. Though this was nothing more than a high school prank league revenge, Hellcat sure as hell was going to aim to scare the pants off of those stupid boys; according to Hedy they had been so eager to have them off anyway. Patsy knew that being a model licensed for random strangers to call you 'hot' and 'cute' and 'adorable', but she most definitely drew the line at raw catcalls and following a person. Of course she was grateful that nothing had happened but something had to be done, because that's what heroines did, right?
As long I don't get into any crap I shouldn't be. I'll be okay.
Straightening her back, Hellcat got ready to take on her heroine dutiesgetting revenge and setting the world right. She wasn't going to enjoy this because that wouldn't be the right thing to do, but she wold most definitely take some pride in cleaning up some of the crude that resided in the world.
Her head perked as she heard the shuffling of feet in the alley below and then a rather explicit exclamation, something that was a bit much for an innocent seventeen year old such as herself. Perfect. Despite the feeling she initially felt about the yelling, Patsy pulled herself together and then slipped her mask over her face before hopping off of the rooftop ledge into the darkness below.
THUMP![/i]
Pats suppressed a whimper as her feet contacted the alley floor hard. No matter. She avoided the pain throbbing from her feet up to her brain and turned in the direction of the shuffling.
"Who goes there?!"
Okay that sounded STOOOOOPID, but she hadn't been at this superheroine business for long, so she had a reasonable reason. Placing her hands onto her hips and waiting for an answer, she walked a little further into alleyway and looked for those shuffling and occasionally yelling… Hm. Nothing. Nothing…
Blam. Bam. Bam.[/i]
The gunshots were almost deafening, but the Hellcat continued on, determined to get her heroine duties fulfilled.
