It's not that hard Regan...
Washington DC had been on of those places that had always been on her 'list'. You know, the list just about every person has that outlined the specific places a person might want to visit and explore anytime they might have gotten the chance, and most certainly before death. Almost like a bucket list of locations; and Regan most certainly was prepared to jump at any opportunity she could get in order to venture across the world and cross items off of her list. However, she had imagined something a little more on the relaxation and rest side, but this was just going to have to do.
Just kidnap the President and his family…
No matter how much she had attempted to convince herself, all that crossed the young blondes mind was the word treason and then federal prison and then death row and so on. But, her mission was set and going back simply wasn't an option; so the most that she could do was place herself into her assassin mindset, which had made her a favorite in the Hellfire Club, and do what she had come to do without letting emotion get in the way.
The blonde slinked stealthily through the hallways of the White House. She wasn't the most brilliant strategist on the face of the planet, but she was sure that she could provide some sort of scheme that could out smart the US Government intelligence employees; it wasn't a task that could be that difficult. Honestly, she had made it into the White House with no opposition except for the few pieces of shrapnel that happened to make its way in her direction.
With a small smile on her face, Regan began to make her way down one of the corridors that was key to her capture of the President and his prized family. All she could pray for was that no one was going to provide her with major opposition and prolong her mission. The hastier she could deliver the presidential family to Magneto, the better.
"Morphia? You following me?"
Realizing she hadn't taken the time to check on her "teammate" and make sure she had been right behind her.

"I'm with you." Morphia said walking up behind Lady Mastermind. The asian woman might would have taken a more stealthy approach to getting into to the oval office than her team mates had given them- but then again it was easier for some one unconscious to be woken up on their way out then to walk back through a now permanently open door. She'd have to talk to Magneto about his entrances a bit later. For now they had a job to do.
Walking quietly but quickly Morphia moved in front of Lady Master Mind then nodded her forward, it'd probably be best for the illusionist to a head of her, that way she could block anything that may get in their way.

Ororo had been outside dealing with a pesky sentinel when she spotted two individuals slip into the White House. There was no way she was about to let them do whatever it was that they were planning on. She called forth a bolt of lightning that struck the sentinel full force. The results: one giant robot with fried optics and circuitry. Witht he immediate threat now taken care of, she turned her attention back to the two thugs that slipped into the White House. Ororo looked around the battle field seeing every member of the team dealing with their own threats. Thankfully one of them was freehanded at the moment. She gave a sharp whistle to get the young man's attention.
"Spider-Man, you are with me. Come now." With that said, the goddess lowered her altitude and then sped into the building, hot on the trail of the two women. As she flew along, she was thinking of a way to take them down without causing any damage to the innocents inside or anything of value. Two blasts of lightning should be more than enough to take them down quickly.

How he got roped into leaving his beloved New York he'll never know. But he couldn't let the reputation of New York get blemished by him. "Storm, well I'm sure we can squeeze a quickie nooner in here, but the President might get jealous." He knew what she meant and was already webbing his way into the building. Firing off a line he yanked hard rocketing himself down the hallway behind the two women. He was hoping to cut them off at the pass, but realized quickly they had a bit of a head start. So to slow them down a bit was his goal right at the moment.
Seeing them heading down a hallway he fired off a line of webbing not actually aiming for them, but blocking them from the next corridor as the webbing formed a full sized web. "There that should let us catch up." Turning to the lead, he winked under the mask. "Your turn snuggy bear."

Yes, she could block anything that got in the way. In fact, she could disable forward targets within seconds, whether they had been alerted to Morphia and her own presence or not. Of course, that applied to anything that happened to show up in front of them. Unfortunately, the tangible spider web, which had conveniently formed an inch from the blonde mastermind's nose, and the two persons that arrived soon after the web did were not in front of her. Thus, her chance to instantly immobilize this particular challenge to their mission was diminished.
She absolutely hated the element of surprise when it wasn't in her favor.
Hm. Lets see what I can put in my arsenal.
Regan prompted her mind to reach out to the mind's of the new arrivals. Any type of weakness, traumatic experiences or anything like that would do her good. You see, Regan Wyngarde as Lady Mastermind preyed on the fears and aversions of others based on realistic instances; the only way to do that was to dance around in someone's head until she found those flaws of character or power and processed them into plausible illusions.
The woman with what appeared to be white hair wasn't difficult to 'mentally search'. Regan could tell that she had a tough exterior in order to deter her opponents from attempting to challenge her in battle, which may help her and her protégé in the incoming battle. Besides the observations Lady Mastermind had attained through the power of her intellect and understanding of the human mind, there were a few other weaknesses and fears that she found would aid her in the later developments of the ensured altercation.
With a smirk and arched brow, Regan let her mind travel from that of the woman to that of the other arrival. It only took Regan seconds to attain the fact that it was of the male persuasion… who knew thoughts could discern that easily. She quickly searched for what she might be able to use for the young man, passing up some information that may have been used to her with the young man being masked and all.
All right. Time to play.
Reaching for her twin Raptor II's Regan suppressed the feeling that she needed to fire off some shots. If that young man could create webs, the white headed woman was bound to have some sort of uncanny power and she wasn't up for any other surprises not in her favor. But perhaps Morphia would be willing to make the first move.

Morphia turned around hands on her hips looking the two over. How'd this cake walk turn into fight? She smirked. Looking over at her partner. "Well this looks like it might pose a slight challenge." She said sarcastically as if she seriously doubted the two they were facing. Of course they could probably break her in half, fortunately she had an ace up her sleeve. Lady Master Mind behind them could probably cast some sort of illusion that'd knock the two down a few pegs. At least that's what she'd been briefed on.
Moving slowing a step backward she tried to see if she could draw the two out a bit more to get a feel of how hard it'd be for her to get close to them. Certain powers made it harder than others.

As she flew along, part of her wanted to turn around and slap Spidey for that little comment of his. ”This is no time to be cracking jokes, Benjamin. Stay focused on the time at hand.” Ororo shot him a stern glance then continued on her way. Before long, they managed to catch up with the two ladies they were pursuing. She had no idea what they were capable of, but the same could be said for them. Spidey shot off a web line which thankfully stopped the terrorist right in their tracks. Now that their escape route was cut off, all that was left to do was take them out, quickly. The blonde women had brought two little pistols with her so that meant her powers were probably not an offensive one.
Just as the women began to fire her shots, Ororo flung herself to the side whilst flicking her wrist. This motion created miniature whirlwinds beneath the women, tossing them into the air. As a follow up attack, she sent out a power gust of chilling wind that froze several objects on its way towards them. The chill from the wind was cold enough to rival the ice produced by Iceman. This fight would be over soon, she was determined to make sure of that. No more innocent people were going to be harmed while the Weather Goddess was around.

Chuckling cause he know he got to the goddess a bit he looked over and wanted to scream. "What the heck are you doing?! These are priceless pieces of American History." He groaned as he saw things being frozen that might have had Ben Franklin sitting there at one time. Oh this was just perfect. The bullets fired and all he could was stand there, Storm's little whirlwind cut him off from a lot of his attacks, so he did the one thing possible. He launched onto the ceiling hoping that it hadn't frozen over as bad as the rest of the area. After a few crawling steps he could feel his grip slipping and that said something, great she just cut him off of most of his attack skills. So, he decided time was for a bit of play. "Snuggy Princess, do us both a favor, and don't freeze the spider." Firing off a small amount of webbing just enough to cover the barrel of said firearms he was hoping the wind didn't throw his shot off too much.
Flipping off the ceiling he looked over at the other two women and wondered how long till this broke into a full blown mud wrestling cat fight. "Okay, how about this lets move this fight peacefully away from the priceless historical artifacts." Just about now he realized something, and turning slowly to Storm, he was going to give her an earful cause of using his real name. Dang it had family he was trying to protect and if every wannabe villain in the world knew his name it wouldn't be very easy to protect them.

Was that spider kid, who apparently had the name Benjamin [information which could be used to an extent later], really worried about the history lining the halls of the White House getting frozen over by the weather sorceress? It was better than having the bullets from Lady Mastermind's Raptor ripping through the archaic wood work and fabric or someone breaking them, though with the kicked up wind was eventually going to be enough to rise the fragile American artifact into the air and smash it into a wall or a person. However, that was not Lady Mastermind's concern nor was she willing to move somewhere else just to spare a few pieces of American history, there was probably plenty more where it came from.
Taking action too quickly was going to be that woman's downfall, as well as the downfall of her teammates; that woman being the white haired weather mistress. Stopping her gunfire, the blonde illusionist took a moment to contemplate getting out of the corridor; firstly, alive and secondly, so that the pursuit and capture of the President and his first family. Being sure to avoid any projectiles being tossed about by the wind or shot at her by the little twerp on the ceiling, Lady Mastermind easily concocted a plan. She needed Morphia to use her power and make the enemy even the slightest bit disoriented, which would then make an opening for them to escape and carry out their mission.
Before attempting to take a few more shots at the spider boy and his teammate, the gun "jammed". She could already what had been the culprit and shot a glare at the boy sticking to the ceiling before turning her attention to the hallway beyond the two "heroes". Placing her disabled weapon back into its holster and replacing the other, undamaged one as well, Lady Mastermind decided to use the other 'weapon' within her arsenal. With the thoughts and weaknesses of the weather manipulator and the spider boy available at her every beck and call, Lady Mastermind decided to go with a much milder illusion, sparing the two opposing Morphia and her of a painful experience.
Let the show begin.
And it did with a simple projection to the minds of the targeted. The next sounds that could be heard were the clunking of running feet and shouting of frazzled men. Though Lady Mastermind wasn't really one for building suspense or adding theatric techniques to her deception of others, she was willing to make an exception for the two darling mutants standing and opposing the Brotherhood. The sounds became louder and soon enough the "created" men were now standing at the end of the long corridor and behind the weather woman and the spider boy, guns poised and ready for fire.
"Place your hands behind your head and don't move."
It seems the "Secret Service" decided to show up.
Now this was where they made their decision, because the bullets would no doubt hit them, pierce their clothing and skin and be lodged within their body cavities until Lady Mastermind released the illusion or she was far enough away. However, if they decided to deal with "authorities" properly, they would avoid all harm and injury to their person, besides Morphia taking them out. Which they would chose, was even a mystery to the Mistress of Illusion.

(Since it's been so long since either of them have posted here I figure I pick it back up. Hopefully not stepping on anyone's toes.)
Turning towards the five or six secret service agents he got a crazy idea in his head. Cause he knew one thing they had to stop this and Storm wasn't being very helpful at the moment. So as he put his hands up in the air he thought about it and took very careful aim, squeezing his wrists he fired out seven rapid shots into the faces of the agents, they couldn't shoot what they couldn't see. The seventh shot wasn't actually just a blind shot either, he had to alert the White House and get the Presidential family out of here. So turning slowly to the blond enemy he shrugged as he wrapped the webbing around his fist. The other end was wrapped up around a fire alarm. "What can you do?" Yanking hard he tripped the alarm and heard the scream start going down hall after hall. If he remembered correctly the next thing that would happen the rest of the Secret Service would move the family into the safe rooms in the White House, and after that it would be straight to Air Force 1 and who knows where after that. "Sorry Blondie, but love to be the spider wrench in your plans." He couldn't figure out anything else, but the President, he had to be the target and since he couldn't hurt the Secret Service agents he had to do something. So he would roll his dice and test his luck. Hopefully he wouldn't roll snake eyes.
