The Latina woke up and stretched as she looked at the clock. It was well past noon and she was just waking up. But then she’d had a very late and lucrative night last night. She groaned a bit a she made her way naked to the bathroom and started up the bubble bath. She poured in some vanilla oil and slid into the water. A soft sigh escaped her lips and she soaked for a little while before getting out of the tub and getting ready for a day of shopping and relaxing.
Getting dressed in snug jeans, sweater and black leather blazer, Peyton grabbed her purse after sliding on her boots and headed out. As she passed by the Aquarium the young woman stopped and looked. She’d never been before and figured since she was in Boston what the hell. She paid the admission and slipped inside. It was a week day and fairly quiet as if she had the place to herself.

Dom really hated crowds...
He should have known better than to go out for lunch on a weekday. Everyone had to be somewhere at the same moment. Worst of all, he couldn't even escape because people kept bumping into him.
He really really hated crowds...
The next bump finally wore out what little patience he had left which was saying alot. He pushed past the much smaller people, clearing a path whether they moved or he knocked them out of the way. Normally, he wouldn't even consider being so rude. But he didn't really have much of a choice since they didn't seem like they were going to simply make space for him to pass. Eventually, they started to go around him and he made his way out of the crowd.
Deciding to wait till it cleared up instead of trying to fight through it he made he way where the crowd wasn't going. He still couldn't seem to find his way around Boston. Though, he had to admit that he was doing much better than the first time he tried to navigate his way though the city.
A sign caught his eye. An Aquarium...these places have food courts right? He chuckled to himself at a stray thought. The gators might make him feel at home, if they have any that is. Money was a bit tight. Pay? Don't Pay? A choice of moral. He sighed and payed before walking inside.
As he walked in the sound of his own footsteps echoing around him was the perfect greeting. No crowds.

Peyton wondered around the aquarium her heels echoing through the silence when she spotted a rather large figure. Her brown eyes took in the form and found it quite interesting however he looked a bit distressed yet as if he were starting to calm down. That was interesting and her curiosity made her want to know what distressed him so much. So carefully she approached the big man and tried to judge his character which was a bit hard not having actually talked to him yet but hey. ”Hello, are you alright? You look a little distressed.” Maybe he was lost?
Her stomach growled a bit and she smirked. She’d been in a hurry to have a free day she hadn’t stopped to eat. This was a big fancy place and it a restaurant where they could watch the sharks. Yeah she saw that one Jaws movie so the part of her that liked scary movies was a bit excited about that. Brown eyes looked back up at him from looking at her tummy. ”Are you hungry? I figured I instigated the conversation it would be rude to walk away. Company and conversation are always preferable to a silent meal.” It was only fair she disturbed him.

Dom sighed lightly while wondering what to see first. There were usually the guide maps that told you where you were, but he didn't see it anywhere. He shrugged a bit and basked in the peaceful silence the place offered. Oh well, it wasn't as if he was in a hurry to get anywhere. He certainly wasn't going back out there to try and fight his way through the crowded streets.
The sound of footsteps caught his attention. For a moment, he almost thought it was a worker so he almost ignored it. However, what were the chances that heels were a part of the uniform? Discolored eyes turned to fall on the woman who had just spoke up behind him.
She had a much smaller frame than him so he kind of shadowed her with his height and bulk. With dark hair and a perfect figure, she was beautiful. He gave her a friendly smiled. Not all these Boston people were nice enough to care about another's well being.
"I'm fine now that you're here, mon cheri," he said. He couldn't really help it, he like to flirt. Just a bit of harmless fun on his part. He didn't really mean anything by it and he certainly didn't expect her to return his flirting. He took her hand in his and gave it a light kiss. Absently, he realized that he must have looked like a lost country boy in his simple torn up blue jeans, white t. shirt, and red jacket. His favorite cap was absent from his attire, he almost lost it to the bustling crowd and Boston wind once.
He let go of her hand and laughted lightly at her stomach growling. Then his own stomach growled, reminding him that he too was hungry after skipping breakfast because of the lack of food. He simply combed a hand through his hair to get it out of his eyes since the cap wasn't there to hold it. Seems a bite to eat would do them both some good.
"I'd have to be crazy to turn down an invitation like that. Name's Dom." he said. "You get me through this maze and I'll pay, that sound good?"

A small smile touched her lips at his comment. ”Well then I’m glad I’m good for something. Name’s Peyton.” Her eyes took him in and she had to admit she liked what she saw. There was something genuine about him. She kind of liked the ‘real man’ look he had. It was a nice change of pace from the suits and slicked back hair of a lot of her clients. ”If it makes you feel any better you just made my day a whole lot brighter.” She winked up at him. It was her nature to flirt all in harmless fun unless something actually developed from it. She grinned when he had kissed her hand.
She laughed when his stomach growled too. ”Well they seem to be hitting it off rather well.” Her head tilted back to look up at him and when he offered to pay she smiled at the irony of him buying her something for her services. ”Sounds like a plan and it’s a pleasure to meet you Dom.” She linked her arm through his and started walking down the corridor. ”New to the area?” This was an odd situation for her but she found she was rather enjoying it, this whole just talking and eating without worrying about talking shop. Well yet anyway, she didn’t know if he was going to be a client or not and she’d yet to meet a man who could get her to cough it up for free. Although there was a certain appeal to finding out if it were even impossible to impress her to that point.

The smile that graced her lips was a good sign in Dom's opinion. She looked like she'd be fun to hang around and a bit of a flirt herself if that wink was anything to go by. And while the aquarium was sure to hold interesting creatures it would still be boring without anyone to talk with to pass the time. Dom didn't like crowds, but that didn't mean he was a hermit or a recluse or something like that.
"The pleasure's all mine," He said politely, falling into step next to her as she linked arms with him to act as his guide. "Yea, it seems to be really obvious to most of the people I meet 'round here."
He couldn't really help it. All the streets were crazy and everything was built like a maze with all the buildings looking mostly the same. He just wasn't used to them. Back south you usually had one road and then you didn't even need it half the time because you knew the place like the back of your hand. Only the bigger cities could hope to match and then there was still the difference that people chose to walk instead of drive up here since everything was so close.

Peyton looked him up and down and grinned at him. ”It is. You don’t look like the pompous arrogant, soft handed boys that usually run around here. It’s a nice change of scenery.” It really wasn’t everyday that she saw someone not in a suit ready to take over the world so it was kind of nice. He looked like he worked with his hands and worked hard which always a bonus since it was silly when a man’s hands were softer then her own.
She led him to the restaurant and then followed the Host to a seat. She slid in and looked over at him. ”So what brings you to Boston?” She herself had been here on business and decided to take a bit of time to unwind from her hectic schedule. She ordered herself a Dr. Pepper and then looked over at Dom. Some would call this an unusual encounter, but often this was how she met people and networked.

Dom smiled down at her at the complement, but remained silent during their walk. Sounded like she had to deal with suits on a regular basis or their sour attitude. There were times when Dom thought about being a fancy money maker, but they never lasted long. He wasn't one for wearing suits and ties. It just wasn't him. Even if he could use the money, Dom would rather earn it the old fasion way and work himself rather than sit around pushing a pencil around in a cramped space all day.
They reached the restuarant relatively quickly. Dom had to admit, he enjoyed being in her company. She gave off a relaxed air. Most were usually tense around him, but she wasn't really fazed in the slightest. Taking his own seat, he reached for the menu and considered her question.
Looking at her after ordering a glass of water to drink he said, "Nothin' really, just traveling for a little break away from the home. Y'know?" College was out for a while and he was ahead in most of his studies anyway. He couldn't really go back to his grandmother's place as she didn't want anything to do with him for the moment. So he was pretty much on his own.
As his mind went over to his grandmother he almost sighed. He should give the old woman a call soon. See if she was starting to lighten up a bit. The woman was still angry with him last time he spoke with her, but maybe she was ready to talk. He was worried about her, she wasn't in the best of health anymore and he didn't want to put an unneeded strain on her health.
He pushed those thoughts out of his mind for now and focused back on Peyton. "What 'bout you, been in Boston long?" The woman was still very much a mystery to him. Though as he took the time to really look at her, Dom was reminded just how lovely she was. He was surprised she took the time to talk to him let alone eat with him.

Peyton’s mind automatically went into business mode. Oddly enough she shoved those thoughts out of her mind since even a girl like her deserved a bit of a personal life, right? She didn’t know and the thoughts were confusing her a bit. She’d never actually had a personal life since before she was sixteen. ”I know the need to break away from home. Trust me as soon as I turned eighteen I was gone.” The young woman didn’t mean for it to have sounded slightly bitter it had just slipped out that way. Brown eyes looked back up at him and she gave him a small smile as she sipped her drink.
She set her glass down and thought about. ”I came here on business and am taking a bit of a holiday. I come to Boston often but I don’t call it home. How did you end up here in Boston?” Something told her that this young man wouldn’t be a client of hers but would it be bad to actually have a male friend outside of work? Peyton had never had to try to distinguish the two before but she was quite interested to see how it would fall out. Could she really balance personal and professional or would she always make her friends through her work? ”Are you just passing through or do you plan on settling down here?” She looked up when the waiter came around to see if they were ready. Brown eyes traveled to Dom. ”I am if you are.”

Didn't sound as if she was too fond of home from what she said especially how she said it. Leaving at eighteen? That sounded like it'd be tough on anyone. Dom chose to remain silent at that comment. He really didn't know what to say and wasn't taking the chance of saying the wrong thing. He could kind of relate. He'd been kicked out none to gently. But from what he heard it sounded as if it was her choice to leave home, escaping something? He quickly shoved that thought away, he wasn't going to pry into her personal matters. So he decided try avoid the subject and keep the coversation from becoming tense or uncomfortable.
Dom nodded as he took a sip of his water and listened politely. The woman sounded successful. Maybe on call alot since she was on vacation. She looked around his age, but she was probably way out of his league. "Heard the sights were worth seein'." However, her last comment did take him a bit by surprise, but he covered it with a grin. "You gonna make me blush, cher."
He glanced at the waiter and order one of their burgers. "I wouldn't wanna steal you away from all your coworkers," She was probably needed to keep something from falling apart from the inside. "But wit you here, mon cheri, I just might stay a bit longer..." Being out of his league wouldn't stop him from being...well him. And she seemed like a nice woman, wouldn't hurt to try and get to know her.

Peyton watched him and grinned. ”There are some good ones here. I’ll admit that. I’ve been to Boston on business several occasions. Sometimes I just take a mini holiday when my business is complete. Much like I am now. By the way thank you for eating with me, it’s always odd to eat alone.” She winked at him to let him know she was teasing him about that last comment. Now if she knew him better and they got along well enough she might buy a place here, although she wouldn’t settle down anywhere permanently for awhile. It had been her goal but she knew it wasn’t going to happen any time soon.
”I don’t have coworkers and my clients make appointments for the most part. I pretty set my own schedule and travel all over the world.” It wasn’t a lie she had clients in a couple of different countries. OK, the man had charm and knew how to use it and he did so very well. She liked this because she didn’t feel pressured and she didn’t feel like rolling her eyes. ”Well depending on how this goes, and if we decide to do it again, I might decide to stay for as long as you want to.” What the hell just happened? The smile was on her face and the sparkle on her eye but her mind started going a mile a minute as she tried to figure out what just happened. She wasn’t even looking to try to pick him up as a client no sure if he could afford her fee, so why was she already hinting at possibly seeing him again? Could the notorious business woman actually be thinking of being stupid enough to even hint at a relationship. Oh that will all go out the window as soon as he realizes what she does for a living.

"Not a problem, cher, though I must say it should be me thanking you. I don't often have a lovely lady to dine with." In Dom's eyes it didn't seem like Peyton would have any trouble finding someone to dine with either. With those looks she probably had to beat the guys off with a stick. However, that led him to actually wondering if he just lucked out by being the only guy around when she decided to get a bite to eat.
He looked at her curiously when she said she didn't have any coworkers. Instead she had 'clients'. Maybe she was a shrink? He couldn't help but be slightly interested now. Though this interest was overshadowed by his honest curiosity. The interest could wait, she was a traveller and he doubted she'd be in one place for to long considering her work. Chances were still too slim and he didn't want to leave her as just another guy looking for a bedwarmer.
"That'd be nice, you can show me those sights," He said in response to her alluding to another meeting. He really did enjoy her company. Or maybe it was just those sparkling eyes of hers along with that gentle smile that drew his interest. Yet, in the back of his mind there was the thought of just how long she'd stay with him. However, he knew way better than to speak that thought out loud. Dom never had been good with relationships, you kind of had to socialize to be good with people.
Dom took another sip of his water and idly wondered if their food was almost ready. Setting the glass down again, he reached for a napkin. He was bored and this usually impressed a few onlookers. Grinning that good natured smile of his, Dom looked at Peyton. "Wanna see some Cajun style magic while we're waiting for the food?" He was bored and he didn't want his mind to dwell too much on her words.

One brown eye winked at him as she sipped her drink. ”Then it is mutually beneficial that we ran into each other.” He was a big man, she wasn’t short at 5’7 but she did have to tip her head back to look at him when they were standing. He looked like he kept in shape unless he was one of those men that looked better dressed. However, with the way his jeans hugged his body she seriously doubted that. How he didn’t have women hanging off of him at the moment was beyond her comprehension. But the Peyton was always one to enjoy the male form and charming personalities.
Eventually she’d tell him what she did for a living and he’d either offer to pony up or look at her in disgust and walk off. But for now she just wanted to enjoy the companionship. There were very few men that she would have done this with without any kind of fee involved and honestly she rather did enjoy those times but there was still that bit of news between them. She was a prostitute plain and simple and she was damn good at what she did.
”Perhaps I will. It sounds like it could be fun.” Did she really not take this kind of time for herself? But then it was easier to keep things professional since no man would really be able to deal with what she did for a living. Peyton would have to truly, madly, deeply in love with a man to actually give up what she did and getting that kind of love out her wasn’t as easy as most would think. Brown eyes glanced up as the waiter brought their food and she winked at the boy. He started stammering before nearly tripping over himself as he backed away. She should have felt a bit guilty about it but she couldn’t help the small chuckle at his reaction. Honestly, one would think she could stop traffic with the way the reacted sometimes.

Dom smiled at her, fully aware of the woman's gaze examining him. He turned slightly when the waiter, who looked a few years younger then the two of them, brought out the food. He couldn't help but shake his head at the kid's antics when Peyton flustered the him a bit. He turned back to Peyton, crumpling the napkin in his hand. He was willing to bet she could charm her way out of trouble with the male.
"Hmm...now I wonder if that just gave me a discount." he said in a joking tone. He then uncrumpled the napkin and held it out in front of him. "Where was I? Ah yes, Cajun style magic," he said looking into those brown eyes of hers. He tried to keep a serious face, but his eyes betrayed him by sparkling with mischief. "Down south, us romantic types like to present a rose to a lady we may come across."
Dom hid the napkin from her view behind his hand for a moment. "But when there ain't a rose to be found we usually settle for this..." Then in a mere moment, without breaking eye contact, pulled out the napkin which was now a paper rose. "Also keeps us on the safe side if the gal happens to be allergic..."
To the outside eye it would have looked like real magic. The napkin went behind his hand as just a crumpled piece of paper, yet came out a perfectly folded rose. The real secret behind it was his mutation. However, most of the sceptics would easily play it off as a simple trick. Something like a slide of the hand to make a quick switch instead of mutation. It was funny actually. Call it magic and no one believes it, but call it a mutant and instant suspicion.
Dom then presented it to her. "Drat, I usually safe that for the dates..." he said grinning. Most of the ladies he met enjoyed the 'trick' and no one really accused him of being a mutant. It was a bit outrageous to make such a claim from a simple 'magic' trick.

Peyton smirked at him. ”I’ll pay for you if you pay for me.” She winked and took a bite of her food. She still couldn’t believe she was doing something like this and not getting paid for it. ”Cajun style magic.” A small smile played on her lips as she watched him. She couldn’t help but notice the sparkle in his eyes and it caused her to smirk, along with his comment. ”Romantic types, hm? I know very few of those types.” It was true she might only know one or two of them.
The Latina watched with interest as he did his trick. Well actually she was watching his eyes since he had her in a lock. A grin touched her lips when she saw the paper rose and her head nodded. ”Very nice. Smart thinking on the allergic thing.” She reached over and took the rose and pretended to sniff it. She let out a soft ‘aah’ as if it really had smelled like a rose. Then she let out a chuckle. ”Thank you it’s lovely.” Peyton took a sip of her drink and didn’t even bother to ask the secret. It sort of takes the appeal out of the whole thing if she knew how it was done.
The girl couldn’t help but snicker when he said he saved that for dates. Her mind was still trying to wrap around the idea of dating and not getting paid for it.
