"..." Monet ignored that comment about Prim being faster and stronger than she was. Even it were true, she wouldn't acknowledge it. Other than that, it seemed like an effective plan, even the headmistress thought so herself. Monet had her orders, toss the diamond diva up to grab off his helmet, that was simple enough. Once that bucket was off, the fight would end once Emma used her telepathy on him. Monet rolled her eyes at Magneto. Was the trouble worth saving those who hated them? That was debatable considering...
"We wouldn't have to worry about them hating and despising us if you hadn't gone Osma Bin Laden on the Navy, you old decrepit douche!" Monet responded to Magneto. Ah, but he probably wouldn't have heard her...he was too busy being wailing on her irish Troy reject of a teacher. Now all she had to do was wait for Calvin to do reflect the light off of Emma.
"You're up Calvin!" Monet called.

As Mimic kept up his assault on Magneto's shield he finally got some real orders from Ms. Frost.
Mimic, you have to do reflect your solar light off my diamond form, aim to blind.
At least they where starting to function like a real team now. It at least sounded like they really had a plan now instead of just "try and beat him" which seemed to be what they where going for. Mimic was prepared to turn and do as ordered when suddenly this plan experienced its first sacrifice.
Suddenly and without warning an explosion tore through the air right in front of Mimic and caused his ears to ring, his vision to blur and pain to rack his form. His head swam as the explosion forced him back and he had a hard time focusing on his surroundings. Fortunately for him Mimic still had Wolverine's healing factor and could already feel it starting to work on the damage that explosion had done. The healing factor did its job but it just didn't do it fast enough. From the corner of his eye the young mutant saw metallic debris rip free of a nearby building and starting racing towards him.
Normally with Northstar's speed he would've been able to dodge the debris. However with his head still not clear he knew zipping away at superspeed was both a bad and dangerous idea.
Metal surrounded his form and instantly started to press inwards against him. If Mimic hadn't expended so much solar energy trying to blast through Magento's shield he might have been able to force the debris away. However he was still too drained and wasn't going to be able to manage anything like that for the time being. Instead he merely contorted his arms so that at least his palms where pressed out against the restraining metal. Now he would have to bide his time as his body hungrily absorbed more and more solar energy.
"Um.....slight problem guys." Apparently he was the only one unlucky enough to be put in a bad situation during this battle.

... she went from her current position to a few feet to another. Teleportation, nifty. Teleporting on top of the sphere Magneto had begun to close on Calvin, Heather immediately went to work teleporting what she touched, individual pieces of metal... Blink~!!! Blink~!!! Blink~!!! Blink~!!! Blink~!!!... until, finally, Heather could see through and peer upon Mimic herself. " Take my hand.," she said, placing it down inside the hole, preparing to teleport - with Mimic - the moment physical contact was made. Blink~!!!If successful, Heather would bring Calvin near where she, Monet, and Emma Frost were. Maybe one of them could step up, giving Mimic the time he needed for solar energy absorption. If not, well... Heather didn't want to think about it.[/ul]
